00:05I am not one of you flunkies who's at your back and call.
00:09You said this was urgent. It better be urgent for me, too, and not just you.
00:14Well, spit it out.
00:16What is so important you couldn't discuss it over the phone?
00:20What did you do to drive Ethan out of town?
00:28Is it done?
00:30If you are referring to Phoebe's adoption, yes.
00:34All the paperwork has been signed, sealed, and delivered.
00:38Phoebe is officially ours.
00:40That's great. One less thing to worry about.
00:43Yeah, that's for sure.
00:45I do have to say, though, I was a little disappointed that you weren't there to welcome your new great
00:50-granddaughter to the Quartermean family.
00:52I thought out of all people, you would have been there.
00:54I would have left to be, but I was busy planning our trip.
01:01Thanks for the tip.
01:04Good news.
01:05The best. We just hit the jackpot.
01:08That was one of my spies at the Metro Court.
01:12Spies.
01:13Really, Mom?
01:14Okay, birdies.
01:16Look, I like to keep a few little birdies keeping their eyes out to help me out, okay?
01:22Tell me.
01:23How many swimsuits did you bring with you?
01:27Like, ten, give or take? Why?
01:30Perfect.
01:31I want you to pick out your most seductive suit, because my source just told me that Michael
01:38Corinthos is spending the entire afternoon at the Metro Court pool.
01:51Do you want your sun?
01:53The sun's nice, but I'm enjoying the view more.
01:59Good, too.
02:04Well, hello, Ms. Lansing Davis.
02:16Tell me, where exactly is our intrepid acting district attorney?
02:21Justine is out of town interviewing a witness on another case at the moment.
02:25Well, in that case, it's not too late for you, counselor.
02:29After all, Jordan Ashford is your former mother-in-law.
02:33Bottom line, you've known the woman for years.
02:35And I am prepared to disclose that to the court.
02:39And for the record, I haven't got a problem with it.
02:42But you also know that Curtis Ashford's a good man.
02:46So what do you say?
02:48Let's call this whole thing off right now.
02:50Save all parties involved a whole lot of anguish.
02:54What are you proposing?
02:57Six months.
02:58Community service.
03:00And we'll even agree to an anger management program.
03:03Look, as long as there's no prison time, Mr. Ashford, prepare to accept the plea bar.
03:08Mr. Gray, you know as well as I do that any other defendant charged under these circumstances would be facing
03:14prison time.
03:17Come on, Molly.
03:19I don't have to explain to you that family is everything.
03:22And everybody involved in this mess is connected.
03:26They are family.
03:27If you insist on going through with this, you're going to tear them apart.
03:33Are you nervous?
03:36Yeah.
03:37I'm more concerned about you.
03:40I'm sorry you're caught in the middle of this.
03:42You just had a baby.
03:43You should be at home with Des, not here in the courtroom.
03:46No, I'm here because I'm a witness.
03:48And I know exactly what that night cost you.
03:51You didn't cause this, Isaiah.
03:54Curtis did.
04:08So what, I'm supposed to just throw on a bikini, do some kind of shimmy, and Michael's just going to
04:12hand over his deception chair?
04:14No, of course not.
04:16Have you heard the saying?
04:18Slow and steady wins the race.
04:23No, silly.
04:24Makes us rich and evens the score with Tracy.
04:28Great.
04:29Okay.
04:31So what am I supposed to do?
04:34Okay.
04:35You make Michael's acquaintance.
04:37You charm him.
04:38And it's not going to be really hard because I know you two will have a lot in common.
04:44Such as?
04:45Such as?
04:47You both really are very giving.
04:52You're very philanthropic.
04:55And you, well, you're cosmopolitan and well-traveled.
04:59He's a very successful businessman.
05:01There's a lot in common besides the fact that both of you are drop-dead gorgeous.
05:07Okay, so just think of this as you are casting the line.
05:12You don't have to reel him in just yet.
05:15But from what you've said, Michael could be pretty shrewd.
05:18Yeah, he can be.
05:20He's very, very shrewd.
05:22You just have to be more shrewd.
05:27Hey, buddy.
05:28I didn't know you'd be here today.
05:29I was very surprised.
05:31Hello, Willow.
05:33Hello, Michael.
05:35Just sit back.
05:36Hey, Dad.
05:38Come swim with me.
05:40Uh, can you come here to help me?
05:45Willow and I will be just fine.
05:47Have fun.
05:54I don't know if Michael filled you in, but my personal situation has changed since we last saw each other.
06:00I heard.
06:00You and Drew are getting a divorce.
06:03Congratulations.
06:04Yeah.
06:05Given my new marital status, there may need to be some adjustments made to the kids' living arrangements.
06:10That sounds like something you should be discussing with Michael.
06:12I'm discussing it with you.
06:14I don't think it's healthy for my children living around you, and I'd like for you to keep your distance.
06:20I did absolutely nothing to Ethan, and I'm certainly not the reason he left town.
06:25But you know he's gone.
06:26Oh, yes.
06:27Of that, I am painfully aware.
06:31He and I were actually having a lovely time together at the Metro Court pool.
06:35Right.
06:35Until he suddenly and inexplicably disappeared.
06:40That's when I know you're responsible because Ethan was fine until he got involved with you.
06:46Well, the blame for that lies directly on your shoulders.
06:50You're the one who tasked him with being my bodyguard.
06:53It's not my fault he enjoyed my company.
06:56I'm sure taking a bullet for you was a lot of fun for him.
06:59I warned him not to get mixed up with you, but of course he didn't listen.
07:05So you need to tell me now, Ava.
07:10What kind of trouble did you get Ethan into?
07:14We are going to New York City for three nights.
07:18I booked a suite at the St. Regis.
07:21That was very thoughtful of you, but I just told you that the adoption for Phoebe was finalized today.
07:27I'm not going to leave my newly adopted daughter to go to Manhattan with you.
07:30Fine.
07:31We'll take her with us.
07:32The hotel will supply a babysitter while we're out of the town.
07:35You think I would leave my child with a sitter that the hotel arranges?
07:39Okay, then take your own sitter.
07:41Pick anybody you like.
07:43Pick somebody I'd like.
07:44Manhattan, the St. Regis, traveling sitters.
07:46None of it's going to happen, okay?
07:47I'm not going.
07:48Yes, you are.
07:50With or without the baby, you need to get out of town.
07:54Nice try, Granny.
07:55Okay, but I know that Curtis is going on trial today, and my leaving town won't change that,
08:01and it certainly won't erase the role I played in the accident.
08:05I know this isn't where any of us want to be today,
08:08but you could save you and your family a lot of pain by just accepting the plea bargain that's on
08:13the table.
08:14Of course you would want me to take the plea deal and miss the first eight months of my infant
08:19son's life.
08:21You are guilty, Curtis.
08:23See, you are just afraid that if I take the stand, I'll let the world know that you left Jordan
08:29and me on the side of the road to die.
08:32There's no reason for you.
08:34Jordan, get him to see that he's making a big mistake.
08:37Look, look, look, hey, hey, hey, agree to the plea deal.
08:39Guys, guys, guys, guys, emotions are running high for all of you,
08:42so why doesn't everyone just take a step back?
08:52If this is the beginning of another round of you insulting me, save it.
08:57Neither of us want to upset why we...
08:59And he'd be pretty devastated if I drowned his mother in the pool.
09:03Then again, they say time heals all wounds.
09:07Just in there, just in there.
09:10Come swim with us.
09:15Actually, buddy, I have to change for work soon, so I'm going to stay dry, but maybe next time?
09:20Okay, but only if you do care to boss with me.
09:24You drive a hard bargain.
09:26It's a date.
09:30I choose peace.
09:33You should try it sometime.
09:49Beautiful day for a swim.
09:55Obviously, you know how much I want those shares.
09:57I want them so badly.
10:01But not at your expense.
10:05So be honest.
10:06Are you absolutely sure you want to do this?
10:08Mom.
10:09Of course.
10:10Deception is your baby.
10:13My other baby.
10:14Well, your other baby is more than happy to do whatever she can't help.
10:18Especially when it's you up against the quarter mains.
10:21Look, the way I see it, we're just evening things up.
10:27Okay?
10:27Okay.
10:29All right.
10:29Well, I better get going because I have my most sick of the bikini to put on.
10:35I love you.
10:38Tom.
10:39I love you so much.
10:43Tom.
10:53Hey, um, listen.
10:55Could you meet me, like, right away?
10:58I need you.
10:59Thanks, Lucas.
11:01You're absolutely right.
11:03We should head inside.
11:09Are you okay?
11:11Yeah.
11:13I shouldn't have let that guy get under my skin like that.
11:16Don't worry about Isaiah.
11:18We need to focus on getting you exonerated.
11:21You have way too much waiting on the other side for you.
11:31That was a well-timed intervention.
11:33You handled it well.
11:34Thanks.
11:36Tensions are high.
11:39So what are you doing?
11:40I was the arresting officer in the case, so I'm here to testify.
11:43What about you?
11:44I'm here to testify, too.
11:46I was on duty in the ER that night.
11:48But Dr. Gannon and Dr. Robinson are colleagues of yours, too.
11:52Are you sure you'll be able to be impartial?
11:54Yeah.
11:55I mean, all I can do is tell the truth, right?
12:00I hate that it's come to this.
12:02They're all good people.
12:03It's just sad that this whole situation has spiraled out of control.
12:09Hey, thanks for the call about Turner's schedule change.
12:14Feeling good about this?
12:15I'm ready.
12:16You?
12:17Glad the day's finally here.
12:19All bad.
12:21Curtis and I almost came up with blows outside the courtroom.
12:25Well, thank God you restrained yourself.
12:27If you hadn't, you'd have ruined our case.
12:31You need to be very careful, Dr. Gannon.
12:34Curtis Ashford's attorney is going to try to bait you while you're on the stand.
12:37If you let him goad you into losing your cool, that's it.
12:41That's how we lose.
12:44Thank you so much, Stella.
12:45And I will check in again soon.
12:48Okay.
12:48Bye.
12:50How's Desmond?
12:52He's good.
12:53He's good.
12:54Stella's watching him for me.
12:57I'm glad to hear he's doing well.
13:00You know, the best thing for Desmond would be for his father not to go to prison.
13:07I'm not sure that's something that I can control, Jordan.
13:11Well, isn't it, though?
13:13I mean, how you testify could make all the difference.
13:16So you want me to lie?
13:18No, no.
13:18I want you to tell the truth.
13:20This was a domestic situation that got out of control.
13:23But there's blame on both sides.
13:26That's all you have to say, Portia.
13:28This is in your hands.
13:31We have been over this.
13:33By the time you learned about the accident, Jordan was already at the hospital.
13:40I know that.
13:41But at least then, Curtis wouldn't have accused Dr. Gannon.
13:46My choice to stay quiet is what led Curtis to throwing that punch.
13:50No.
13:52Curtis's temper is what led to him throwing that punch.
13:56And you are not responsible for his bad choices.
13:59But I am responsible for mine.
14:01And I can't help but keep feeling like my staying quiet is why Dr. Gannon is injured and the reason
14:08why Curtis is on trial right now.
14:10Which is exactly why we need to get you out of town.
14:12You need some distance from the trial before your guilty conscience ruins your life.
14:21Hey, Lizzie.
14:23Hi.
14:24Thank you so much for coming.
14:26You sounded really upset on the phone.
14:29What's going on?
14:30I need your help.
14:32Actually, more importantly, I need your opinion.
14:36Do you think I'm a bad mother?
14:39No, of course not.
14:41Why would you ask me that?
14:43Did something happen with Serena?
14:44No, no, no, not exactly.
14:46It's just, you know, obviously, I love that she's here visiting.
14:51I'm over the moon that she's here with me.
14:54But I wasn't totally honest about the reason for her visit.
14:59Does she even need a reason to come and see her mom?
15:02No, no, of course not.
15:03It's just I had an ulterior motive.
15:07I asked her here to help me, Vinesse, getting Maxie's shares away from Michael.
15:15And I asked her to do that by flirting with him.
15:20Don't you think you're a little overdressed for the pool?
15:23Well, I'm here on business.
15:25Your office told me where to find you.
15:26Then they probably also told you that I'm with my son.
15:29I don't like work to intrude on time with my kids.
15:31So if you have something important to discuss, make an appointment.
15:36Oh, I think we're way past that type of formality, don't you think, Congresswoman?
15:43I put myself on the line for you and your mother.
15:47So you're saying I owe you?
15:50I'm saying our relationship doesn't have to be antagonistic.
15:54We've already proven we're good allies.
15:57I think it's time we take this to the next level.
16:01I haven't seen Ethan since yesterday.
16:05He didn't tell me where he was going.
16:07If he had, that's where I'd be right now, slapping him across the face.
16:12Okay, makes sense.
16:13You haven't seen him.
16:14Have you heard from him?
16:17Ethan did call me from an unknown number.
16:21I picked up because I thought it might be him, and it was.
16:24I assume he was using a burner phone.
16:28What did he say?
16:30He said he was gone and he wouldn't be coming back.
16:36That's all he said?
16:38That's all he said.
16:40He even had the nerve to hang up before I could give him a piece of my mind.
16:46Curtis' actions are the reason we're all going through this.
16:50So there is no world in which I will get on that stand and say anything that will allow
16:55Curtis to put the blame for what he did on Isaiah.
17:00Oh, let's not do this.
17:03It's not good for anyone.
17:05Finally, something we can all agree on.
17:07And don't worry, Jordan.
17:08I'm going to do exactly what you asked.
17:10I'm going to tell the truth.
17:17All rise.
17:19The court is now in session.
17:33I wonder what that's all about.
17:35Nothing good.
17:38At least not for me.
17:41A willow cozying up to a WSB station chief is totally on brand for her, but honestly, it's
17:47the last thing that I need.
17:48You think Chief Brennan would help Willow by targeting you?
17:53I don't know.
17:54Brennan and I, we've always gotten along.
17:56He's the only reason I was able to get her on treatment when I was in Germany, but that
17:59was all before.
18:00Things between him and my mom blew up.
18:03And now he has no reason to do me any favors.
18:09Everything okay?
18:11Yeah, sorry.
18:12Just time for me to get to the office.
18:15We'll touch base after work.
18:16Sounds like fun.
18:27I just feel so awful asking her to do this.
18:31I mean, this is the way I used to operate.
18:34There's no reason that my daughter has to.
18:39I think you're being too hard on yourself, Lucy.
18:42Really?
18:43I don't think so.
18:45Okay.
18:46Tell the truth.
18:46Would you do it?
18:47Would you ask Maxie to finesse and strategize just to get something that you really want?
18:53No, but Maxie is not above bending a few rules to get what she wants.
19:00What matters here is Serena's our agency.
19:04Did you ask her to help you or did you tell her to?
19:08I asked her and she said that she really wanted to do anything she could to help her mom.
19:16Okay, I just don't want to put her in the position, though, that she feels like she has to see
19:20this through to the end just because I want this so badly and so much.
19:25I suppose I should be gratified that Ethan made the very small effort to call me rather than ghosting me
19:33completely.
19:34But our conversation wasn't all that stimulating.
19:38I can tell you one thing.
19:39He's not running from me.
19:42Are you sure about that?
19:44Because I have my doubts.
19:46Is that right?
19:47Well, you ask an awful lot of the people who work for you.
19:52Maybe you asked a little too much of Ethan.
19:55What is that supposed to mean?
19:58Drew has made a full recovery.
20:00Did you know that?
20:01I saw him up and walking around at the Metro Court pool.
20:06Some people would call that a miracle.
20:10But I'm guessing Michael isn't one of those people.
20:15I'm sure it's only a matter of time before Drew sets his sights on your son again unless somebody steps
20:21in to stop him.
20:24So that makes me wonder.
20:28Did you ask Ethan to kill Drew?
20:34Of Curtis knew that Dr. Cannon didn't leave him and Jordan at the scene of the accident.
20:40You didn't leave them either.
20:41You didn't know they'd been in an accident.
20:43And if Curtis knew that, maybe it would set the stage for some sort of peace between them.
20:47That's a maybe.
20:49At best.
20:50Let's talk about what's definite for you.
20:55Well, Phoebe's adoption has been finalized, so thankfully I don't have to worry about losing her.
21:00That was definitely a relief.
21:03What else?
21:05Oh, then there's Trina.
21:08I would absolutely lose her as a recording artist.
21:12She would feel betrayed, as she should.
21:15It would probably impact her relationship with Gio.
21:18Probably be upset with me too.
21:20And I could lose him too.
21:22Not just as an artist.
21:24That would be a shame, considering all the strides you and Gio have made.
21:28I mean, disappointing someone you love is always a consideration.
21:35Well, that's why I'm most worried about Chase finding out.
21:39Ladies and gentlemen, today you are going to hear attempts by the defense to sensationalize what is an unambiguous act
21:48of assault.
21:50You'll hear about a terrible car accident and efforts to cast suspicion and blame for it.
21:55The thing is, the car accident is not relevant.
22:00It's a red herring meant to play on your emotions and distract you from the real issue.
22:07The punch.
22:08It is illegal to punch someone.
22:11That's assault.
22:13And if you assault someone and cause great bodily injury, you are responsible.
22:20Even if you did not intend to cause great bodily injury.
22:24Curtis Ashford punched a surgeon, Dr. Isaiah Gannon, causing grievous injury to his hand.
22:33So your job today is to listen carefully to the testimony and go with facts in spite of whatever plays
22:40for sympathy the defense might offer.
22:43If you follow the facts and evidence I'll present, I am confident that you will find the defendant, Curtis Ashford,
22:51guilty.
22:55Dr. Isaiah Gannon.
22:56Ladies and gentlemen, it's true.
23:00Curtis and Jordan Ashford were involved in a nearly fatal car accident.
23:07And if it wasn't for Mr. Ashford's heroism, Jordan wouldn't be sitting with us here today.
23:14That too is a fact.
23:18Now, Dr. Isaiah Gannon drove away from the scene of that crash.
23:23Didn't look back.
23:25Didn't even phone for an ambulance.
23:28And consequently, the care that was critical to Jordan's very survival didn't get there until much later.
23:34And to this day, Dr. Gannon, surgeon, has expressed no remorse.
23:43Nor has he accepted responsibility for his actions or lack thereof surrounding the crash.
23:51The defense will make it abundantly clear to you that Curtis Ashford's actions to the MetroCourt were provoked.
24:00And at the fault for any injury that may be the unfortunate result of a domestic altercation lies wearily at
24:08the feet of Dr. Isaiah Gannon.
24:21Does Serena have trouble telling you no?
24:24No.
24:25Come on.
24:26She tells me no all the time.
24:28In fact, sometimes she tells me no in several different languages just to mix things up.
24:32Well, then just stop beating yourself up and trust that your daughter knows what she wants.
24:38And it sounds like she wants to help her mom.
24:42Oh, thank you.
24:46I think you're right.
24:48I really do.
24:50Besides, you know, it's Michael, right?
24:54I mean, he's not perfect.
24:55He's had his share of ups and downs, but we all have.
24:58And the important thing is, I think basically, he's really a good person.
25:02And besides, he's filthy rich.
25:06I think he might be the perfect match for Serena.
25:12You know, I received a troubling call from your mother yesterday.
25:16Oh?
25:17Is something wrong?
25:19Well, that depends on you.
25:21Now, she tells me that you're planning on contacting Anna Devane to convince her to reopen the case against Michael
25:28for Drew.
25:28Sure.
25:31Seems like I need to have a conversation with my mother about her lack of discretion, because that wasn't her
25:36business to share.
25:37Yeah, well, I'm glad she did, because it's a bad idea, and we both know why.
25:42I'm not worried, Chief Brennan.
25:44I've been exonerated, and all the compelling evidence points to Michael.
25:48Yes, perhaps.
25:49Until Commissioner Devane starts digging, she might decide to uncover the footage of you on Drew Street the night of
25:55the shooting.
25:56And that's a risk we both can't take.
25:58I don't care.
25:59If it results in me getting more time with my kids, it's a risk worth taking.
26:09Wiley, come out of the pool, honey.
26:16We need to get you dried off, okay?
26:19It's time to head back to Grandma Nina's.
26:22Okay.
26:33I had a chance after chance to come clean with Chase, and I didn't.
26:37Why didn't you?
26:39Because I didn't want him to be disappointed in me.
26:43Even after I confessed that I was the one who framed Willow, I held back.
26:47And that was my moment to be totally honest, tell the truth about everything, and I just, I couldn't do
26:53it.
26:55That has to tell you something.
26:57It tells me things could get worse.
26:59Because Chase thinks that we are at this place of complete honesty, and if he finds out that I am
27:04still lying, I don't think he'll ever trust me again.
27:09Dr. Gannon was in a great deal of pain when he was brought into the ER.
27:14His hand was clearly badly injured.
27:18We set him up with a hand specialist immediately to diagnose and treat his injury.
27:24Did Dr. Gannon tell you how it happened?
27:27Yes.
27:28He said that Curtis Ashford punched him, and he fell and injured his head.
27:33And were his injuries consistent with what he told you?
27:36Yes.
27:37One final question.
27:39Did Dr. Gannon make any mention of any sort of car accident the night you treated him in the ER?
27:44No.
27:45You didn't?
27:47Thank you, Dr. Jones.
27:49No further questions, Your Honor.
27:51Counselor, your witness.
27:55The defense has no questions at this time, Your Honor.
27:58But we reserve the right to recall this witness.
28:02Detective Fitzpatrick, you were the arresting officer on the night of the assault.
28:06Is that correct?
28:07Yes, I was.
28:09And did you witness the assault?
28:10No, I entered the restaurant immediately after.
28:13Did you hear Mr. Ashford confess to punching Dr. Gannon?
28:18I heard the defendant say that he punched Dr. Gannon because he deserved it.
28:22Then I questioned the party's present and arrested Mr. Ashford.
28:27No further questions, Your Honor.
28:37Detective Fitzpatrick, thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to be with us this afternoon.
28:43Would it be accurate to say that you don't personally know the parties involved in this case?
28:48Yes, that'd be safe to say.
28:50So you would have no idea of the domestic dynamics at play, at least at the time of the incident?
28:58No, I would not.
28:59And as you already testified, you didn't witness the incident, so you would have no way of knowing how it
29:05escalated.
29:06I can only testify to what I witnessed.
29:07Exactly.
29:09So isn't it possible you jumped the gun when you arrested a pillar of the community with no concept of
29:17the circumstances you walked into?
29:20The PCPD received a call that there was some sort of skirmish happening at the Metro Court Gardens.
29:26Another officer and I were sent to the scene, and when we arrived, I found an injured man on the
29:31floor,
29:31the defendant actively goading him to fight, and a pregnant woman in clear distress.
29:36So you say, but isn't it conceivable that you overstepped your authority when you raised this to the level of
29:44an arrest?
29:46The good men on William, poor Charles, would be better served if you just de-escalated the situation.
30:02Counselor, call your next witness.
30:06Your Honor, the prosecution calls Dr. Portia Robinson to the stand.
30:17Again, Michael really has a terrible history with women.
30:22I mean, basically, I just think that maybe my Serena could change all that.
30:27I mean, she's beautiful and kind and sophisticated and so intelligent, and to tell the truth,
30:35she's kind of had her string of failures in the romance department, too.
30:38I mean, from a prince to a...
30:40You know what?
30:42Serena needs a stand-up guy, someone that will really treat her well.
30:47No.
30:47And it doesn't hurt that Michael and Serena are both independently wealthy,
30:53so neither one of them have to worry about money being a draw.
30:57Yeah, yeah, that's so true.
31:01Have you thought about the romantic irony here?
31:05I mean, all those years ago, I was married to Alan, and now, just possibly, his grandson could be with
31:13my daughter.
31:15Whoa, whoa, whoa, slow down, Tiger.
31:17I think you're getting a little bit ahead of yourself.
31:20No, I don't think so.
31:20I really don't, because I've always thought Serena would make a perfect powder mane.
31:28She could even wear my red dress.
31:33Today was so good, Dad.
31:35Maybe next time we can have ice cream after?
31:38Ooh, hot fudge sundaes with Grandma Corley?
31:40Yes, just tell me what.
31:42All right, I'll see you soon, kiddo.
31:44See you later, Dad.
31:49Are you sure to ask Jacinda what we talked about?
31:53Excuse me?
31:54I'll be curious to hear what she tells you.
31:57If you think you can trust what she says.
32:05Can I get you a lounge chair?
32:13Oh, no thanks.
32:14I'll find my own.
32:20Oh, my God.
32:25I didn't ask Ethan to do anything to Drew.
32:31Is that the kind of stuff you talk about in front of our daughter?
32:36No.
32:37But I don't lie to her, either.
32:40You and I both know that there is certain truth that our daughter should not hear about you, about me.
32:48Don't play with me.
32:51Because you know what happens if you push me.
32:55Threatening me does not help our daughter.
32:59It does her no good to hear about the ugliest parts of either of us.
33:04I agree, but I don't take kindly to people coming after my family or anybody that's close to me.
33:10And that includes you or Drew.
33:14There are consequences.
33:18Don't forget that.
33:22There is a very good chance that Chase won't be able to get past this.
33:27So you have a choice.
33:29Do you unburden your guilty conscience and devastate your partner?
33:35Or?
33:36Or do you learn from this experience and promise yourself that it will never happen again and move on with
33:44your life?
33:44And then what?
33:45Just carry around this secret forever?
33:49Do you love your husband enough to do that?
33:53You have wanted a family of your own.
33:56You have it.
33:59The truth jeopardizes that.
34:02Is it worth it?
34:06I love Chase.
34:08And our family.
34:17I know what's at stake.
34:20I have to protect my family.
34:24And to do that, Chase can never know what I did.
34:37You okay?
34:38Things got a little heated in there.
34:40Uh, nothing I can't handle.
34:42That's just a defense attorney doing his job.
34:45Well, for what it's worth, I don't think you made an unnecessary arrest.
34:51I just hope everyone involved gets justice.
34:54Dr. Robinson, did you witness the defendant, Curtis Ashford, punch Dr. Gannon?
35:02Yes.
35:02And prior to the punch, did Dr. Gannon hit Mr. Ashford or make any attempt to?
35:10No, no.
35:11Dr. Gannon was actually attempting to leave.
35:13But then Curtis kept goading him.
35:16So Dr. Gannon turned around and then continued to have words.
35:23And then Curtis lost control and punched Dr. Gannon in the face.
35:27Now, in addition to being your romantic partner, is Dr. Gannon also a professional colleague as well?
35:34Yes.
35:35Yeah, he's one of the finest surgeons I've ever had the honor of working with.
35:41And these injuries that he sustained as a result of the assault, will they cost him his career?
35:48It will certainly cost him his ability to perform surgery.
35:53I mean, Dr. Gannon is a gifted surgeon.
35:55I have seen him perform miracles.
35:57They're procedures that only he and a very select handful of surgeons can even do.
36:03And now he's unable to perform them.
36:08Is there a specific surgery that you are referring to?
36:14There was a young boy.
36:17And he was scheduled to get a liver transplant.
36:19And Dr. Gannon was going to do the procedure.
36:22But that became impossible following the assault.
36:27There are patients that may die.
36:30That may no longer have hope.
36:31All because of this senseless injury.
36:34And for the record, could you please state once more, who is responsible for this injury?
36:42Curtis Ashford?
36:45Dr. Robinson, you were previously married to the defendant, were you not?
36:50Yes.
36:51And this past July, you gave birth to Mr. Ashford's son.
36:55Is that correct?
36:57I did.
36:58Great.
37:00So, doctor, just for the record, how long were you married to my client before you started sleeping with the
37:06alleged victim?
37:10I did.
37:12I did.
37:16I did.
37:18I did.

This trial is a joke, we all know that dr. Gannon is innocent Im team Isiah all the way, Curtis needs to be held accountable for what he did, he is not to fit to be a father by accusing someone like dr.Gannon of something that he caused.
