This is part 3 of "As Soon as Tomorrow" adapted to the "Frank the Warrior " character from a book I wrote several years ago bearing the same name.
Frank discusses with Lola his encounter with Curtis Lightfoot, a Marine Chaplin , embedded with his platoon. He prepares Frank for the battle to come, which by all indications will be a total and complete slaughter. Part 4 is forth coming, however it will contain numerous distracting 'bleeps' somewhat censoring Major Conovers colorful, means of conmmunication... I may post it on an alternate site that does not have 'problems' with total freedom of speech and artistic expression...and I understand why this has to be regulated..so lets see.
