00:27That was Christina Applegate back in March detailing her battle with MS. And now a new
00:32report reveals that just weeks after that interview, the actress was admitted for a
00:36nearly four month hospital stay in Los Angeles. The 54 year old actress who was diagnosed with
00:41multiple sclerosis in 2021 has been hospitalized before for pain associated with the disease.
00:48She revealed earlier this year to People Magazine that she was confined to her bed,
00:52but was trying to be present to take her 15 year old daughter Sadie to school.
00:56Applegate is now back home and doing well after her most recent hospitalization,
01:00according to a source who spoke to TMZ. It's unclear if this most recent stay was
01:04due to the autoimmune disease, which can cause numbness, weakness, trouble walking,
01:09and vision problems. TMZ broke the news of her hospital stay earlier this spring,
01:13at the time Applegate's representative gave this statement to Page Six, saying about the actress,
01:18quote, she's had a long history of complicated medical conditions that she has been refreshingly
01:23open about. A few days after that statement, the Married With Children star addressed the health
01:27scare on Instagram, sharing this photo of her memoir, You With The Sad Eyes, and a mug, writing,
01:33Thank you for the outpouring of love and well wishes. Health issues are a constant for me,
01:37but I'm a strong chick and I'm getting stronger and better every day. I'm taking a moment to focus
01:42on my health, but I'll be back with more to say soon enough. Just last month, David Faustino,
01:47who played Applegate's brother on the 80s sitcom Married With Children, revealed that the disease
01:51hadn't stolen his on-screen sister's sense of humor. Faustino told US Weekly that Applegate had a,
01:56quote, dry, sarcastic sense of humor since the moment he met her, and added, quote,
02:01nothing has changed. Married With Children stars Faustino, Katie Segal, who played mom Peggy Bundy,
02:07and her on-screen neighbor Amanda Beers all showed up to celebrate Applegate when she received her star
02:12on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2022. Segal gave this emotional speech to her TV daughter at the event.
