00:19Number 10. What's married life like for Coach Beard? It's only fitting that the Ted Lasso
00:23finale would have a rom-com-esque moment of realization where Coach Beard gets off the
00:27plane, staying in England with Jane. We later see the couple not only got hitched, but have a baby
00:49on the way, too. Season two's Beard After Hours was one of the few episodes that provided a glimpse
00:54of the assistant coach's life outside of Richmond. Given the bizarre misadventures that ensue,
01:03it's clear Beard is more comfortable at work. Now that he has a wife and child, Beard's personal
01:08life could become less chaotic, or even more dysfunctional. Either way, it'll be interesting
01:13to see how marriage and fatherhood affect Beard. Season four could also explain why exactly
01:18Ted wasn't at his wedding.

01:26Number 9. What will Trent Krim do post-book?
01:29Journalist Trent Krim is initially skeptical of Ted, but he can't help but be won over by
01:34the underdog coach.
01:35Do you mean to tell me you're entrusting a Premier League team's attack to the kit, man?
01:39That young fella's forgotten more about this sport than I'll ever know.

01:45Coach. Good kid. Boy, oh boy. You knew Coach Beard, you know what a big deal that was.

01:52After leaving the Independent, Trent closely follows Richmond throughout season three,
01:57writing a book about the team. Initially called The Lasso Way, Trent is persuaded to
02:01change the title to The Richmond Way.
02:04It's always been the same, the same old story.
02:09The book becomes a bestseller, fulfilling Trent's desire to find a new passion.
02:13Now that the book has been published, what will Trent's next passion be?
02:17Maybe he'll write another book or return to journalism with more perspective.
02:21With The Richmond Way being such a hit, we wouldn't be surprised if the book got optioned
02:25as a movie. We already know Dustin Hoffman is Trent's casting choice for himself.

02:36Number 8. What's next for Sam?
02:39Sam Obesanya faces several hurdles throughout season three, most notably when Edwin Okufu
02:43prevents him from being selected for Nigeria's national team.

03:04As such, it's been suggested that Sam might not return for season four,
03:08especially since actor Tahib Jimo is joining the cast of Industry.
03:18If Jimo's schedule permits it, we hope season four delves into Sam's time on Nigeria's team
03:24and confirms if there's a future for him at Richmond.
03:27Beyond Sam's football team, there's also the matter of how his restaurant is doing,
03:30and if a romance could bloom with head chef Simi.
03:33I think they serve as a good reminder that everything doesn't have to be perfect.
03:37And if the food is good, who cares about the mirrors?

03:44Number 7.
03:45Will Roy's sessions with Sharon lead to a breakthrough?
03:48We can expect to see more of Sharon Fieldstone in season four,
03:51having come on board as the team's head of mental health and emotional well-being.
03:54Sharon already helped Ted achieve a significant breakthrough.

04:10In the season three finale, Sharon welcomes Roy into her office for a therapy session.

04:18More importantly, she might get to the center of why Roy is so emotionally guarded,
04:22breaking down those defenses.
04:30There's an opportunity to explore a side of Roy that he's never shown anyone else,
04:35not even Keeley.
04:36Whether or not he ever gets back together with Keeley,
04:38Roy could use somebody like Sharon to unpack his feelings for her.

04:51Will there be a new antagonist?
04:53Lovely to see you.
04:55I saw you with your assistant.
04:58Your daughter deserves better, and so does Bix.
05:00Given the heartbreaking passing of actor Anthony Head in June 2026,
05:04we're left to wonder how the series will grapple with the absence of Rupert.
05:08As the end of season three leaves him with his reputation in shambles,
05:12season four could have potentially provided redemption for the character.
05:15And the game goes on, presumably without Rupert Magnum.
05:19So without Rupert,
05:20will the show introduce a new character for us to root against?
05:23Or will Ted Lasso's swan song step away from a traditional villain,
05:27and instead focus on the growth of the team and the characters we've grown to love?
05:31We find her in a far happier place.

05:39Either way, we know that Anthony Head will always be remembered through this role,
05:42and we anticipate a touching tribute when the series returns.

05:47Will Keeley choose between Roy and Jamie?
05:50While Roy and Jamie have come a long way since the first episode,
05:53they both still have a lot of growing up to do.
05:56This is apparent when they show up on Keeley's doorstep,
05:58insisting she choose between them.
06:00So we came up with a better idea.
06:02Please don't say it.
06:04You should just pick.
06:05You pick which one of us you want to end up with.
06:09And then?

06:21If Roy and Jamie continue to mature throughout season four, though,
06:24perhaps Keeley will see one of them as a worthy life partner.

07:01What's happening with AFC Richmond's female team?
07:03During season three's closing montage,
07:06Keeley presents Rebecca with a proposal for a women's team.
07:09Rebecca immediately falls in love with the idea.
07:14Since it initially looked like season three might be the end,
07:17we assumed the scene might pave the way for a spin-off.
07:20We still think there's potential,
07:21but season four is the priority for now.
07:23The new season should lay the groundwork for Richmond's female team.
07:27With Keeley's PR firm taking her away from Richmond,
07:30she often felt sidelined during the last season.
07:32They're shutting down KJPR.
07:46Richmond's women's team provides an opportunity
07:48to bring Keeley back into the fold while introducing new players.
07:51There's also the question of who will coach this new team,
07:54although Jason Sudeikis suggests it will be Ted himself.

09:10Does Rebecca take to motherhood?
09:12Shippers still wonder if Ted and Rebecca's friendship could evolve into something romantic.
09:16This seems unlikely after the season 3 finale,
09:19which sees Rebecca again cross paths with her Amsterdam fling, Matys.
09:22Rebecca is surprised to not only reunite with Matys, but also meet his daughter.
09:38A psychic previously told Rebecca that she'd become a mother.
09:42Rebecca assumed motherhood wasn't in the cards for her,
09:45especially after receiving a disappointing call from her doctor.
09:48That's what I thought.
09:51Oh, it's definitely to be sure.
09:54Even if Rebecca can't have a baby biologically, she can still be a mother.
09:59It's implied that Rebecca's relationship with Matys will continue,
10:02meaning she'll be spending more time with his daughter as well.
10:05We're eager to see how these dynamics change Rebecca as she balances work and family.
10:09You know, I'm aware that what I'm about to ask, given my age, is a bit far-fetched.
10:16But I was just wondering if...
10:19If you're able to have children?
10:22Yes.
10:27As we've seen in the trailers, Ted does return to Richmond to coach the women's team.
10:32So we're curious what aspects of his life open up to allow for that.
