02:34going through a divorce um kind of newly single but I'm going to a friend's house
02:44that everyone goes to all my friends go to even my divorce
02:51uh guy and his friends or whatever on Memorial weekend and Labor Day weekend
02:58you know which has a party and it's not too far from where I live I usually walk not a

03:06but for some reason this day I decided to get an Uber or was a Lyft I don't remember which

03:15is Uber or a Lyft and literally it's I can walk to it it's not that far so I get

03:26comes to me I chat the guy up you know we're having fun he's an older guy all of a

03:32gets on the freeway I go you've been on the freeway why it's like oh no I know a shark

03:38and I'm like all of a sudden we're going to LA and I'm like no it's like right and I'm

03:45him well no you no you're going the wrong direction well I don't know what you're talking
03:50about I'm giving you to the direction you gave me I go maybe I did something wrong but please
03:56drop me off anywhere I'm not going to LA I don't care I can't drop you off anywhere I gotta

04:02me to the location I'm all no and I'm all oh my god my spidey senses were going off and

04:07no you can't take me back and he goes I can't take you back take me back exactly where you

04:14off at well I don't know that address I'm like what like everyone with a GPS you could do reverse
04:22like it doesn't make sense what you're saying I go just drop me off here drop me up on the

04:27right here and he wouldn't do it early I get on my phone to my friend carrie who's at the

04:34and I'm like on my phone I'm all I'm in my uber driver and he's taking me LA I don't
04:41know I think
04:42I'm being kidnapped I don't know I might need help by night I need help she goes what I go

04:47what is the address racer's address what's his address and she gave me the address and I'm like
04:52and I'm telling him and he's like he's acting like he doesn't understand
04:59and so so but he's getting upset that I'm on the phone with and I go give me the address

05:07the address so she gives me address and I get the address and I kind of hang up with her

05:14in my um DPS so now I told him okay I got the address I'm gonna give you step-by

05:23how to get me to this address because well I can't do that I'm all yeah you can do that

05:31not going wherever you're taking me this is not where I'm going and I'm not paying for it and um

05:38just drop me up in the corner he would not drop me off at a corner I go he got
05:43off the freeway I go
05:44drop me off here no and I'm all what sorry I've been working the OC fair so my voice is

05:53my voice is kind of harsh and it hurts because I've been yelling a lot because I'm a carny so
05:59I yell a lot
06:00um on purpose um so my voice is hurting right now he would not drop me off at the next
06:10corner
06:10anywhere he just wouldn't which doesn't make sense like you get your money right you get your money
06:17just drop me off and he wouldn't I just was like finally and I go just follow and and I
06:25put the phone
06:25up to him I go here's the address follow this finally he's paying attention to what my GPS is
06:34saying and he's following the directions what my GPS is saying to go to where I need to go now

06:42it's right kind of where I live I could walk to it I don't know where we went he was
06:47taking me to
06:48downtown LA and um like because it takes took a while to make him turn around but anyway finally
06:58he drops me off at my friend Racer's house and I should have I should have put um I should
07:06have put
07:06a complaint I should have reported him but first I thought maybe it was a language barrier but no I
07:15mean he's a newer driver if I say drop me off here drop here's a corner drop me off here
07:22you should be
07:23able to drop me off there and still get your money I I don't understand because obviously he didn't
07:32if what he tells me is correct when the the lake location that I had on my phone he dropped
07:41me off
07:41and it wasn't the right location whatever he was saying so nothing at at the very end of the day
07:47after you process it nothing made sense I think I was about ready to be kidnapped but he got second
07:55he was like he you know he aborted the mission because I was on the phone with the person where
08:04I
08:04was supposed to be and she was telling everyone at the party oh my god stage she is in an
08:09uber and
08:10she's taking she's being taken somewhere else and everyone's saying no go here go here go here
08:16and so I punched in the location on my phone on the maps and I put it to his ear
08:23and I go follow these
08:24directions and go there and yet this is in English so he's following the directions but yet he's not
08:30understand me like drop me up at the corner something is very fishy so I was very lucky I
08:37think I was almost kidnapped I was really almost coming which is weird because I'm not a young girl
08:42I'm like an older lady so I don't get it I don't understand it um but yeah so be careful

08:51because that happened to me and that wasn't that long ago that was probably about maybe six or seven
08:58years ago and I know I did a video I know there's a video out there me telling this story
09:05but I thought it was probably another video that I kind of just threw it in there so I can't
09:11find it
09:11so I wanted to make a video just specifically about this that I put in the address who knows I
09:19might have
09:19put in the wrong address I don't know but I put in an address I got in and we're chatting
09:25and he says
09:26oh I got a shortcut and I'm thinking what and then it takes me a while to process and me
09:32to fight him
09:33to go back and he's taking me to downtown LA it took me a lot of convincing for him to
09:41turn around
09:43and when he got off the freeway I go just drop me off here and he would not do that
09:48I go I don't
09:49understand why he won't do it you're gonna get your money I mean it's uber lift you're gonna get your
09:54money I'll just call another uber lift and go where I need to go you know and he would not
10:00do that
10:00he would not do that and it took me to finally call my friend carrie and get the exact location

10:10copy paste it to make sure and then I put the phone to the zero I go follow these just
10:17this is this is
10:19where I'm going and he finally followed and he finally dropped me off where I was supposed to be
10:28and I and I didn't tip him but I did pay him I did pay whatever the uber lift ride
10:36was and I really
10:38should have filed a complaint I really should have put him back on it because who knows did he take
10:44advantage of somebody else like I feel bad like what if something happened to somebody else on my
10:50watch because I did not report him so if anything happens like that to you report it because I feel
10:56a lot of regret and remorse that I did not do that because even though everything worked out for me
11:06the other person maybe not because at least I knew where I was going the other person maybe going to

11:12party they don't know so anyway that is my scary uber lift almost well kind of kind of kidnapped story
11:25right um I'm trying to remember more from because like literally it was like like almost not 10 years
11:36ago but it was pretty much it was like seven years ago or so so it's been a while um
11:43so yeah
11:45so be careful out there and definitely have someone on speed dial because it does make a difference and
11:53it did change his uh persona because they're very adamant he goes no I'm taking you to the location
12:00you told me to go to and I'm like I I don't even know where you're taking me honey uh
12:05and so
12:08I got other stories like that where I was almost abducted um yeah I've been very lucky very lucky but
12:18word to the wise I just I just had to get that story out but that is my crazy uber
