00:20Hi, I'm Nathan Camarillo, executive producer on Crysis 2.
00:24So with Crysis 2, we found a unique opportunity to take the Crysis-style gameplay that we
00:29had in the original Crysis and going back throughout the pedigree and history of Crytek to take
00:33that multi-platform.
00:35We're set in New York, which is a really unique environment for us to have really intense,
00:39unique urban combat, while at the same time it still has a very organic feel based on
00:44what you do to the environment.
00:45So you get a lot more bullet impact, a lot more bullet feedback, and you're not staring
00:48at the same kind of environment from beginning to end, being in a jungle.
00:52In the original Crysis, we had this array of powers that people could turn on and off,
00:56and they were very singular powers that only lasted a few seconds.
00:59But what we found was people combined these powers together in unique ways to create a
01:03player style.
01:04So now we're catering to those player styles and creating powers in the new nano suit so
01:08you can play how you want.
01:11We sit in a very unique gameplay space that we're not exactly a modern military shooter,
01:15and we're not exactly a science fiction shooter either.
01:18We sit right in the middle in a very nice spot.
01:20So we can have conventional weapons like assault rifles and things people enjoy playing with,
01:24and hand grenades and cool things like that.
01:26But then we can also create some science tech weapons like Gauss Rifles and microwave cannons.
01:32It's going to be a unique package like nobody else can offer, so we're quite excited to talk
01:37about more over the upcoming months.
01:40I can tell you about multiplayer today, but then I'd have to shoot you with one of our Gauss Rifles.
01:45I'll see you next time.
01:45Bye.
01:47Bye.
