00:22The famous kitchen that we make all the big deals all through the year, the last 40 years.
00:29We never stop, we know, actually. We're actually planning next year this morning.
00:34We have a meeting about next year's plumbing, seriously.
00:39So we never really stop, actually.
00:42So they all melt into each other, you know, because it's such a busy thing.
00:46We're improving the site all the time, you see, and we're sort of rolling on.
00:50So we're making huge improvements with the water and the roads and the communications and every telephone and all that
00:57sort of thing.
00:59So that's ongoing all the time, because it's a building site as if it's going on forever.
01:06Of course we know it won't do, but that's our attitude.
01:12So that we approach it as if it's going on forever.
01:15Oh, we're so excited. This is the best bit, you know, from now on, actually.
01:19When the sun shines in the middle of April, that's the best bit.
01:22The cuckoo comes out, the cuckoo starts calling out, you know, cuckoo, cuckoo, and then we're away then, basically.
01:29That's the sign. The cuckoo kicks it all off.
01:33But it's lovely. It's just an activity and, you know, something that's really familiar.
01:38It happens every year, pretty much.
01:40And it's really lovely, isn't it?
01:42Like, a lot of the site crew who kind of go off travelling for the rest of the year and
01:45come back.
01:46And so there's a lot of people living now on the farm who are building things.
01:50Yeah, it's really exciting.
01:52It's the best bit.
01:53Honestly, it's really better than the event itself.
01:57I was building it up here.
01:58Seriously.
01:59It's such good fun.
02:00Because you have all these ideas and everyone's ploughing as much into it as possible, you know,
02:05and there's just the feeling that it's going to be the best.
02:08People are so excited.
02:10A chap coming from India this morning said, I'm on my way back.

02:15I said, just get back and get stuck in, you know.
02:18So they come back from all around the world, you know, these traveller types.
02:22So they'll come back to work here, you see.
02:25So they love coming.
02:27I mean, it's so exciting.
02:28It really is.
02:29Well, the cows are in their winter quarters at the moment.
02:31They're called Moo-Tel.
02:33And it's very comfortable, very high class sort of cattle shop.
02:37So they're having a time in their lives and we feed them extra special lovely stuff and everything.
02:42So they're milking very well.

02:47Well, I always say that if you go out,
02:50say we went out into the town with a fag packet, you know,
02:54and if you ask the kids in the local town,
02:56to ask them what their ten favourite bands would be,
03:00it would be more or less the same as ours.
03:03Because there are only really ten headliners in the world, aren't they?
03:06Yeah.
03:07So we'd all choose the town headliners.
03:09I think we would anyway.
03:11So it's quite easy to choose the bands really.
03:13Yeah, people on the street, they tend to have the same, the same opinions about what,
03:18it's the same even looking forward to this year.
03:20Like people are talking about the same few acts, you know.
03:24It's really interesting what they bring up.
03:26And they go,
03:27about certain things.
03:29And you're like, that's interesting.
03:30I'm so excited about that.
03:31That's wonderful.
03:31And I go talking to schools and colleges and stuff and I always ask them.
03:35Which the last question is, you know, what are your favourite bands?
03:39So all the hands go up, they say, and all this.
03:42And it's nearly always the same bands.
03:45I've got no idea of why it's so successful.
03:48Have you?
03:50I do not know.
03:51I really do not, I can't make it out.
03:54I mean, you couldn't make it out, could you?
03:55There's no reason, there's no obvious reason.
03:58It's not like there's a, there's a lot of ingredients.
04:02There's millions of them that are what makes it different.
04:06But it's hard to say what.
04:07We feel like it's a flute, don't we?
04:09Every year.
04:10I mean, in your world's dreams, you couldn't make it out, could you?
04:13So it's a series of flutes, I think.
04:17So it's just work.
04:19We're obviously doing something right.
04:22And people like what we do and everything.
04:24And I mean, it's a whole, sort of full on, your whole life's work.
04:30It really is.
04:31We're not skating up to the Bahamas or anything for Christmas or anything like that.
04:36Because we're always working.
04:38And that's what we enjoy doing, you see.

04:41And it is a real dairy farm.
04:43It's a real farm.
04:43It's not like some eardrum somewhere.
04:45And it's got history.
04:47There's all the glassware history isn't there.
04:50There's all that stuff.
04:51And it's a magical place anyway.
04:53And it just works.
