Die Bewohner des trostlosen Industriestandorts Winnipeg langweilen sich. Zugleich sind sie in ständiger Angst vor einer Flutwelle, die - so angekündigt - verheerende Ausmaße annehmen soll. Doch nicht alle verharren in angespannter Erwartung auf das Schlimmste: DJ Sabu, der dabei ist, eine riesige Rave Party vorzubereiten, verfolgt das ehrgeizige Projekt, bis zur Flut noch 2.000 Männer ins Bett zu bekommen. Seine letzte Eroberung, der sympathische Dummkopf Happy, erhält über sein Radio Nachrichten von Außerirdischen, die ihm versprechen, sich eines Tages auf der Erde zu zeigen. Friseur Spanky, der sich selbst zur größten Schlampe auf Erden ernannt hat, will Sabu einen Strich durch die Rechnung machen.
