00:14On Sunday night, Camp Sovereignty and its community were the targets of an alleged attack.
00:19Witnesses say a man and a woman came into the campsite at around 9pm.
00:23He approached a sacred fire and started to throw the wood from the fire around and started to kick the

00:31Ashnimara approached the two people when the attack occurred.
00:35And he said that it was an illegal fire.
00:37I said to him, no, it's a sacred fire and a burial site.
00:40At which point he grabbed me into a headlock and started to punch me repeatedly in the head.
00:46The pair fled soon after and are yet to be found.
00:50Victoria Police has confirmed officers are investigating the incident.
00:54We're not sure who they are at this point in time, but we're hopeful that we'll get some leads.
00:59Police assault charges are likely and they are investigating the possibility of a racially motivated crime.
