00:00At last, after five torturous years of my mother wrongly jailed by a dictator regime,
00:07I have evidence that she is still alive. I can confirm she has met with the International Red
00:14Cross. I feel relief to see proof that she is alive. I feel anger that she is being unjustly
00:22held and has been in solitary confinement for more than five years, damaging her mental and
00:29physical health. The pressure to free her must not be lessened. She is the most prominent female
00:38political prisoner in the world for trying to bring democracy to a regime which wants to snuff
00:44out freedom. I want to see my mother released from her unjust imprisonment by a regime which needs to
00:52be held to account. My grandfather was assassinated having won independence for Burma. I will not
01:03cease in my fight to see my mother free. Like her father, she has dedicated her life to bringing
01:10democracy to Burma. The world must urge the junta to release her from confinement.
