00:06This is a first from the anonymous Ohio compound, the Havoc Death Machine, Jessica Havoc!
00:19For those keeping score at home, it is now Canada 1, USA 1, and now down to a best of
00:25five, we get down to the nitty-gritty here, Brad. Jessica Havoc going one-on-one with Nicole Matthews.
00:32This is going to be one hell of a fight, Scott.
00:37This is Jessica Havoc's second Canoosa Classic. If you remember, Brad, she packed in Team USA in 2015.
00:44Team USA won that year, despite the fact that Havoc lost her match to Rosenberg.
00:50She put a winning strategy, and does she have another one here tonight for Team USA?
00:54Time will tell. Jessica Havoc, one of the best women wrestlers.
01:04And her opponent, from Vancouver, British Columbia, Nicole Matthews!
01:13And here comes Nicole Matthews, Brad also entering her second Canoosa Classic.
01:17And get this, Brad, she also competed in that 2015 Classic, and it was her match.
01:24It was her loss that gave Team USA the victory.
01:27She has a chance to have been that loss against the captain from that year here tonight.
01:32That's poetic.
01:49Nicole Matthews, fresh off an appearance in the Mae Young Classic.
01:57And there's the bell, match number three of the 2018 Canoosa Classic now officially underway.
02:03What does Nicole Matthews have to do?
02:06Obviously, she is undersizing this matchup.
02:09What do you have to do to overcome someone with just, like, the ferocity of Jessica Havoc?
02:14Well, the first thing you've got to do is you've got to stay out of the mind games with Jessica
02:17Havoc.
02:18She'll play them with you, and she will dominate you with them.
02:21Second of all, you need to use your speed, you need to avoid the power at all costs,
02:27because Jessica Havoc is a powerhouse.
02:31Showing off that power right there.
02:32Brad, I think a lot of that can be said about the way Team USA has built their team this
02:37year.
02:37There's a lot of powerhouses on USA.
02:40Team USA absolutely stacked this year.
02:45And so is Team Canada.
02:46Both teams stacked this year.
02:48This might be the most stackedest tournament's ever been.
02:50Side headlock now applied there from Nicole Matthews.
02:58That's also a testament that this is for both these women.
03:01With all their confidence in professional wrestling,
03:03this is both of them entering only their second Canoosa Classic.
03:05This goes to show how deep this tournament really goes
03:08and how hard it is to get invited in.
03:11That's a good point.
03:17Nicole Matthews.
03:18Yeah, just dropped on her wallet there.
03:21And there's the mind games you were talking about there from Jessica Havoc.
03:24Scott, I don't think she has a wallet and her ring deal.
03:27Of course not.
03:32It would be a weird thing to bring to the ring.
03:36Forearms dropped it right to the face.
03:39Fun fact, I saw my wallet in my pocket in that rumble I was in.
03:43And, oh!
03:43Ducks that close.
03:44Wow! There it is!
03:45Springboard crossbody cover!
03:47And only a one count!
03:49And that's exactly what Nicole Matthews has to do.
03:51Use her speed to her advantage.
03:53You're right, Brad.
03:54She's got to catch her by surprise here.
03:56That caught just about everyone in the building by surprise!
04:01But just like that, that is all it takes for Havoc to reverse momentum.
04:07Watch that.
04:07And now we're just trying to rip that hair right up from the follicle.
04:14I would not want to be the official in this match.
04:16No kidding.
04:19I'm about 10 feet from the ring and I'm scared.
04:21And again being launched across the ring from her hair!
04:26Brad, do you know what that...
04:27Never mind.
04:29That's Havoc now!
04:31Just engulfing the body of Nicole Matthews in the corner.
04:33He already said the F word during this match.
04:35God.
04:42What word would that be?
04:43Follicle.
04:45To me, that's the real F word.
04:48And again!
04:50Havoc.
04:52Wreaking havoc in the ring right now all over Nicole Matthews.
05:03Nicole Matthews is in a rough spot here.
05:05Yeah, this is a dominant performance here from Jessica Havoc.
05:10And again with the squirming tied, this thing is all back up and might as well be knotted
05:13up at zeroes again.
05:15And the strategy goes back to what it was in match number one.
05:18You have to win this one.
05:20You're right.
05:20It's all about picking up momentum.
05:21It's only that.
05:22Jessica Havoc picks up a win here.
05:24That's two straight victories for Team USA here.
05:27That puts it up.
05:27That's momentum.
05:28That is rolling momentum.
05:31Oh, nobody home with a leg drop.
05:35Drop kick there sends Havoc all the way to the outside here.
05:40And Nicole Matthews, is she going to fly here Brad?
05:43We already saw the springboard cross body.
05:45And now a suicide dive to the floor.
05:48Both women down here.
05:51And Nicole Matthews is popping back up here.
05:55But she's got to get Havoc back in the ring.
05:59That is the downside of a high risk offense in those dives on the outside.
06:03Is that you can't win the match on the outside.
06:05And that's what we were talking about earlier about the referee giving these women some leeway here.
06:11As Matthews, ramming Havoc face first off that chair and rolling into the ring, stopping the count and restarting it.
06:19Bring it in, let's go, come on.
06:21Let's count because we're getting old.
06:27Matthews, continuing the assault here on Havoc on the outside of the ring.
06:32Got to be weary of the referee's count.
06:36Oh!
06:36And a shot there to the chest there from Havoc.
06:39Oh!
06:40On another one.
06:42And now, the count of six, it is Havoc restarting the official's count.
06:46Bring it in, come on.
06:47Hang in there, bring it in!
06:48One!
06:50Oh!
06:51This whole match is sitting in a chair.
06:54Oh, that was involuntary.
06:55Now he's being choked.
07:00Havoc is screaming in her face.
07:02That's the mind games from Jessica Havoc.
07:07Six on the floor, Havoc.
07:09Well, Bragg, you know what it feels like to have someone shout in your face like that, too.
07:12Yeah, I sit next to you every week.
07:14One, two, one, two!
07:16Oh!
07:17Shot!
07:17Shot!
07:18Oh, hang on here.
07:19Oh, what is this?
07:21Oh!
07:21And it's DDT!
07:23That's gonna do it.
07:24In the cover here.
07:25Two, two, three, two, three.
07:26Two!
07:26A kick out there from Havoc and Matthews.
07:29Can't believe it.
07:37He's not trying to measure up Havoc.
07:39Good.
07:39Oh, man!
07:42It's not like a bad Havoc.
07:44This could do it.
07:45Two!
07:45Matthews kicks out.
07:46USA was real close to being up.
07:52Two to one.
07:56Four-armed shots here.
07:58Just some ground and pound by Jessica Havoc.
08:02Did you forget what the score was there, Brett?
08:03No, I always finish my point.
08:07Just dragging her by her hair into the corner here.
08:11And now Havoc.
08:14That's why you're in here not officiating.
08:17I can't count at all.
08:22Oh!
08:23Did you hear that?
08:26Yeah, folks, it's worth noting.
08:28Scott and I wear headsets with noise canceling.
08:31We both heard that.
08:33Went for it a second time.
08:36But nobody home.
08:37And now Nicole Matthews trying to fight her way back into this contest.
08:41That's a drop kick.
08:45Sending Havoc into the corner here.
08:47There's no way.
08:50Havoc trying to fight out of the German suplex that she does.
08:52And now...
08:54Oh, man.
08:55Oh, Nicole Matthews slides back!
08:57Nicole Matthews...
08:57Cover!
08:57Cover!
08:58Kick out!
09:01That kick right to the chest into the cover again.
09:03And another cover here from Matthews.
09:04And another kick out from Havoc.
09:06Just making Jessica Havoc expand energy to kick out.
09:10Brad, you can tell in all the matches we've seen so far, there's something special in the air here tonight.
09:14Everyone trying to give it their all.
09:16They're all trying to leave everything in the ring as I said.
09:18But you don't want to be the one to put your team down.
09:23They're not just fighting for themselves.
09:25They're not just fighting for the country.
09:26They're fighting for each other as well here tonight.
09:28Drop toehold.
09:31That's Nicole Matthews thinking here.
09:33Oh!
09:35Utilizing the ring as a weapon as she continues to deliver strikes to the chest here of Havoc.
09:42And now Nicole Matthews ascending the turnbuckles all the way up to the top here.
09:49Oh, but she got caught.
09:52And a chokeslam with authority there from Havoc.
09:55Into the cover.
09:56Two.
09:57And that is it.
09:59USA has taken the lead for the first time in this tournament.
10:06We're in this contest.
10:09Jessica has it!
10:13With this victory, Team USA leads 2-1.
10:18That hot start by Jody's threat from Team Canada, Brad, has been erased.
10:23USA now with a 2-1 lead.
10:26Only two wins away from winning this entire tournament.
10:29That's crazy.
10:32That's absolutely crazy, Scott.
10:36That is what back-to-back victories in this tournament can do.
10:40Canada now...
10:42Brad, let's face it.
10:43They gotta win three of four.
10:44They do.
10:45Take it.
10:46It's a tough road for Canada now, Scott.
10:51And we talked about how...
10:53...
10:53...
10:53...
10:53...
10:53...
10:54You
