00:11The rescue work is mostly done. The water has gone down a lot.
00:15But the relief work will continue.
00:20Because the essentials of your life in your daily life
00:27The relief work will continue.
00:32The relief work will continue.
00:34The relief work will continue.
00:46The relief work will continue.
00:51The relief work will continue.
00:53We will continue to work on the service.
00:55I want to say that the country will come and help them.
01:01Because the situation is very difficult.
01:05People are displaced.
01:05And there will be a lot of people going.
01:22You are on the ground to 60 people.
01:27How do you feel?
01:29This is the Shivsagar railway station.
01:32And a lot of affected families have come here.
01:35From the surrounding areas.
01:38And Global Six has been...
01:40They get dry ration and everything.
01:42But they have no stoves to cook.
01:45So...
01:46We make the food and bring it to them.
01:49And we do this every day.
01:51For the last 7 days we have been doing it, yes.
01:54So this is actually a very novel work.
01:56To serve with a lot of affective people.
01:59And you also participate.
02:01And lots of people have generally participated.
02:05Yes.
02:06Yes, I mean...
02:08Humanity is above everything else.
02:10Wherever something goes wrong,
02:12I think the Sikh people are always there to help.
02:15I have been working with the same team of...
02:18Which is now Global Sikhs for the past many years.
02:22And on-ground work that they do is amazing.
02:24And I would just urge everybody to...
02:27Contribute in whichever way they can.
02:30To help people.
02:31Not just here.
02:32Wherever there is problem.
02:34As a human being it is our...
02:38It is our duty to help our fellow human beings.
02:43So that's why we are here.
02:44So you are also planning to go to some of the flag affected areas.
02:49To meet the house affected people.
02:50Yes, yes.
02:51The team has already done a lot of research on what they need.
02:55Mostly people need immediate relief in everyday amenities.
03:00And you know food.
03:04And things like place to sleep, a mattress, a tarpaulin.
03:09You know basic household toiletry items and stuff.
03:12So we are making kits and we will be distributing it to whoever needs them.
03:16And our team is also out there looking for people who have not received help yet.
03:22So we are trying to do that as well.
03:24So many people have come up to help this institute.
03:29And across the country many people have actually to come to Assam and to help this stuff that affected people.
03:39So do you want to appeal others also?
03:42See, you can help by being here and helping on ground like I am.
03:47Or you can pray for people.
03:49Or you can contribute to some organization which is working on ground directly related to the relief work.
03:58So there are many ways you can do it.
03:59It's not necessary that you come here.
04:02But definitely everybody should come forward and do something or the other, yes.
04:40Hal Varas Room
04:41And a thousand people are in there which are homeless?
04:44Yes, lakhs of people are homeless, yes.
04:48Yes.
04:48This group of people and you have policies which eu-
04:50Yes, it's a very sad situation and everybody should come out and try and help people here.
04:57Uh… we are trying to do our best, global Sikhs.
05:00Uh… we are just now going to go-
05:03give people their essentials, everyday essentials and food so that we can make their lives easier.
05:10But everybody in the country should come out and help the people of Assam, of Shiv Sagar and the surrounding
05:15area.
05:16It is badly affected.
05:18So you also appeal to the rest of the country's people and the celebrities?
05:22Absolutely, absolutely.
05:23Anybody who, whatever you can do, you should do.
05:26Nobody is bound by anything.
05:28Whatever you can, I can, I could do this, so I'm doing this.
05:30I would have come here earlier, but I had very, I had engagements which I could not get out of.
05:36But now I'm here.
