U.S. President Donald Trump reacted to Spain’s migrant crisis by warning that America would face an even greater influx of illegal immigration if Republicans lose power. Calling the situation in Spain “an invasion,” Trump claimed the U.S. would be “invaded at levels that make Spain look small time” if his administration were not in office. He urged voters to back Republicans, linking border security to the upcoming elections and reiterating his hardline stance on immigration and national security.

00:00You know, I saw Spain yesterday, and I watched the catastrophe that took place.
00:06It looks like an invasion of a country by hundreds of thousands of people.
00:12And that same thing is going to happen to us if the Republicans don't get elected, except worse.
00:17Much bigger, much easier to get into, despite the fact that we have built thousands of miles of wall,
00:25which I said we were going to do.
00:27But we didn't have that, forget it.
00:29But we have the safest border in the world.
00:31If we're not in office, our country will be invaded at levels that made Spain look small time.
00:40And when I watched it, I said, boy, I said, I'm going to say it because I knew you were
00:45going to be at Camp David.
00:46And I say, that's going to be a talking point for the midterms.
00:50Because when you look at what happened to Spain, they don't know what to do.
00:53And it's happening again today.
00:55They're coming in by the tens of thousands.
00:57It's just invading the country.
01:01And what that is, is weak law, bad management, but very liberal law.
01:10They passed a couple of laws, and people read.
01:13You know, people are smart.
01:14They read from other countries.
01:16And they swam that three-mile swim, or however they got in.
01:20But nobody's seen anything like it.
01:22That will look good compared to what's going to happen to the United States.
01:26The biggest thing, the worst thing that Biden did is allowing 25 million people into our country.
01:31Because many of those people are criminals.
01:33They're murderers.
01:34A lot of murderers.
01:3511,888, a lot of them are gone now.
01:39We got them out.
01:40But they allowed people to come into this country that you can't allow to come into a country.
01:44People that were very successful, that wanted to go to a rally or an event, and ended up spending the
01:52rest of their lives in horror.
01:55So, I mean, you can say what you want about the fund, and they've agreed to not have a fund.
02:02But there are a lot of people that are very upset about it.
02:04A lot of Republican people, a lot of Democrat people are very upset about it.
02:08A lot of people were covered.
02:09I wasn't covered by that fund.
02:11I don't want to be covered by that fund.
02:12I probably was abused more than anybody in the history of our country.
02:16But I wasn't looking for that.
02:17But there were a lot of people.
02:19And I'll tell you something.
02:19Todd Blanche is a very, very good man.
02:23And he shouldn't be in the middle of this.
02:25He should get approved.
02:27Because you will never get anybody like him.
02:29You're never going to get anybody.
02:30And to make him a pawn on this whole thing, this is being done by a senator.
02:34And I don't really blame him, to be honest with you.
02:36I endorsed his opponent.
02:38And as soon as I endorsed his opponent, his opponent went through the roof.
02:41And he won the primary election in Texas for the Senate.
02:47And the man that lost, the man that I didn't endorse, has become very angry.
02:52And that's okay.
02:53I mean, I understand that.
02:54I probably would do the same thing.
02:56You want to know the truth?
02:57I think I'd do the same thing.
02:58Mr. President, all of that, do you agree, just to be clear, do you agree with the acting
03:01attorney general that the anti-weaponization fund is dead?
03:04And why not just put that in writing?
03:06Well, it is dead.
03:07But, you know, I wish it weren't, to be honest with you.
03:09I think people were horribly treated, horribly abused.
03:13This has nothing to do with Todd.
03:14This was me.
03:16Horribly abused.
03:17And I'd like to see them compensated for the pain.
03:21They lost their families.
03:22They committed suicide.
03:23Many people committed suicide.
03:26They went down for an innocent journey.
03:29And I'm not only talking there.
03:30I'm talking about not even having to do with that.
03:33The way they were treated.
03:34The Biden administration and the Obama administration weaponized government and destroyed lives.
03:41Mr. President, are you willing to accept limits on the scope of the audit immunity deal in
03:46order to get attorney general Blanche confirmed?
03:49Well, no, he should be approved forthwith.
03:51I mean, you're never going to get a person like that.
03:53Everybody agrees to it.
03:55Don't forget, Senator Cornyn thought he was phenomenal until he lost.
03:59You know, when he lost, is that a correct statement?
04:02You come from Texas.
04:03I mean, he thought this was the most incredible person.
04:06And when he lost, he lost because of me.
04:09I endorsed somebody else.
04:10And as soon as I endorsed the other person, the other person became a rocket ship upward.
04:15And he lost.
04:16And, you know, I think I'd be the same.
04:20I mean, I shouldn't say that, but I'd be upset also.
04:24And so I fully understand it.
04:27He shouldn't be that way.
04:28I shouldn't be that way.
04:29But he is that way.
04:31He's become a very angry person.
04:32And I understand.
04:33You have a couple of others that I caused their defeat to.
04:36And, you know, you'll probably hear from them, too.
