00:00But let's, a lot of games in the seven o'clock hour coming up, Craig, and I don't understand
00:05this one.
00:07I'll tell you right now, Tampa at home, Nick Martinez on the mound, Fetty is going for
00:13the White Sox.
00:14Now, the White Sox just went back to back 12 inning games against the Yankees.
00:19They burned just about every arm they have in the bullpen.
00:22In fact, the only reason Fetty is actually starting and there's not a starter is because
00:26every one of them has thrown over the last two days.
00:30This number feels light to me, Craig.
00:33I don't know, minus 135, minus 140, Tampa with 40 wins at home.
00:39Am I missing or overlooking something here?
00:42No, I agree.
00:43It doesn't really make a lot of sense to me.
00:45The Rays have just been fantastic.
00:46They've been almost unbeatable at home this season.
00:48So I'm with you.
00:49Maybe it's just the fact that the odds makers have to, they can't make the White Sox a heavy
00:54dog being 57 and 51.
00:56Maybe that has something to do with it.
00:58I'm not sure.
00:58But I mean, the Rays at home, Joe, I would dare to say they probably won 80% of their
01:03home series this season.
01:06So yeah, I mean, I don't know.
01:08I don't really get it.
01:09But look, the White Sox do have a few guys that are left-handed that can punch a couple
01:13out of Tropicana Field.
01:14But I am with you.
01:15I think Tampa Bay, at the very least, should win two out of three games in this series.
01:20I think they're a much better team than the White Sox.
01:23Now, I'll tell you this, too.
01:24Another game, very interesting coming up.
01:27St. Louis and Toronto.
01:29Dylan Cease, who is right behind Cam Schlittler for a possible American League Cy Young winner.
01:37He has been fantastic, maybe the best of the rest on what's going on with Toronto this season.
01:44He is the one bright spot.
01:45But I got to tell you, I've been waiting for Kyle Leahy to fall off the wagon here.
01:52And I'm looking at his—he just is not.
01:55I mean, two earned runs against Cincinnati, one against the Angels, none against the Braves,
02:00none against the—he's going five innings at least, and he's not giving up.
02:04And he doesn't strike anybody out.
02:07He's got 81% of the runners are left on bait.
02:11At some point, somebody has got to take advantage of this.
02:15But I'm not sure Toronto's the team to do it.
02:19Blue Jays are not good, Joe.
02:2150 and 59 after going to the World Series.
02:25Like, this is a huge fall off a team that's on pace to lose 90 games, Joe, this season.
02:31That would be—or maybe not quite 90, 88, 87, something like that.
02:36Yeah, like, I give the Cardinals a shot this weekend because they've played frisky all season long.
02:42The only question is, have they hit the wall here, Joe?
02:45It certainly feels like it.
02:47The Cardinals right now, the last week and a half, have played the worst baseball they've played all season long.
02:51And they now have fallen to under 500 for the first time, I believe, all season long, too.
02:57So it has definitely put-up-or-shut-up time for them.
03:01I don't anticipate anything major going on.
03:04The only thing that I would keep an eye on in this series, and it's not something for today,
03:08but you said you woke up Sunday morning and checked—you know, were checking the lines and everything like that.
03:13If I was betting on this stuff Sunday morning, I would absolutely take the Cardinals.
03:19I think I'd do it blindly because I think that as we get closer to the deadline,
03:23if you're betting on a team to make some trades, you kind of have to throw a Hail Mary and
03:27take your shot
03:28that the Blue Jays are going to be one of those teams,
03:29and then you wonder who's available for the Blue Jays when they play that Sunday game.
03:34Monday, if I'm not mistaken, there are some games, but not nearly as much as, of course, Sunday.
03:40You get a full slate of games.
03:42Right. You'll get a full slate, but still, to your point,
03:47I think there's going to be some opportunities there to be able to jump in maybe overnight, early and often
03:54in that one.
03:55How about this interesting one, too?
03:59Is Philadelphia going to win another game anytime soon?
04:02Do you have any insight, Craig, to that?
04:05Because Baltimore, it's young—they called up Andrew Painter, the rookie, who was just—
04:11They had high hopes for him, but he was just awful.
04:14He went down for a couple of starts.
04:16He's back up now.
04:18But again, if they can't hit, what's the difference, right?
04:23Yeah, their bottom of the lineup hasn't hit at all.
04:25Schwarber's back tonight, so that's good news for them.
04:27I am going to, Joe, carefully buy the Philadelphia Phillies.
04:33I'm going to carefully think that they get back into it.
04:37I think that the Braves have just built this not insurmountable lead, but I think they've built themselves a big
04:44enough lead.
04:44I think the Phillies make the playoffs.
04:47I don't know if they're wild card one, two, or three.
04:49That I don't know.
04:50We've talked about Arizona.
04:51They're coming on strong.
04:52They got a big weekend in Cleveland this weekend, but I'm going to buy on the Phillies getting it going.
