What happens when the Nakar and the Nakara become the living model of Yahowah's Covenant? Building on Ruwth 2, Yada reveals how Bo'az and Ruwth demonstrate voluntary trust, informed commitment, Towrah-based leadership, prophetic purpose, reconciliation through Shalem, the meaning of the Kanaf, soul naming conventions, and Yahowah's reward for those who participate in restoring His family. Discover why their relationship is far more than a love story, exposing the blueprint for the Covenant, the restoration of the Miqra'ey, and the role observant individuals play in Yahowah's plan.

00:00:00 ~ Intro ~ Verbatim
00:17:03 ~ "Why is it that I have attained favor, charming compassion, and a kind acceptance in your eyes that you would Nakar, be observant regarding me, recognize and consider me? You would notice me, acknowledge me, making all of this known to me?"
00:19:16 ~ "Now that, my friends, is a bombshell. She acknowledged in her first response to Bo'az that he was being exceedingly kind, generous, welcoming to her because he was the Nakar and she was his mate. She was the Nakara."
00:22:08 ~ "I want to be vulnerable with you because for the first time in my life, I can be vulnerable with a man that I know I can trust."
00:23:52 ~ "The more exposed and vulnerable she was, the more liberated she would be with this man. This is a very sophisticated, well-developed approach to love."
00:42:01 ~ "Yahowah will choose to complete finishing. He will want to fulfill the means to provide restoration and recompense, bringing to conclusion your work. And there will be a reward for you when you are finished providing restoration with the fulfillment of reconciliation."

00:00:00The Yadda B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-B-Yahwa
00:00:03Walk with Yadda
00:00:07Settle yourself and step in
00:00:09Let the truth begin
00:00:10Open the door and hear it clear
00:00:12Yadda on the mic as we bring it simple and true
00:00:15A chance to shoot is coming right at you
00:00:18Listen in for the light in these last times
00:00:21Now let's go live with Yadda
00:00:26Let's do just that
00:00:27Let's listen, learn, and live
00:00:30We're back to the story of Boaz and Ruth
00:00:32We're in the second chapter
00:00:34We're commencing the first date
00:00:37It started off, oh well, almost like the internet age
00:00:42Boaz caught a glimpse of Ruth in his field
00:00:49And he did a full investigation
00:00:51He not only got a briefing from his head of staff
00:00:57Who had already done an inquiry on her
00:01:01But he also went around and gathered as much intel as was possible
00:01:07So this was a date between two people who said
00:01:13I know you've been looking at me and I've been looking at you
00:01:17So I went and checked you out
00:01:19And I guess at the time
00:01:22It was the Bethlehem telegraph or telegram of some sort
00:01:29Because, well, they didn't have a Google search
00:01:33But it's clear Boaz knew who he was talking to
00:01:37So this is their first date of sorts
00:01:40Then Boaz, he said to Ruth
00:01:45Whether or not you will listen at the moment
00:01:49So he came off pretty soft
00:01:52He wasn't saying you need to listen
00:01:54He didn't say you have to listen
00:01:56He didn't say you better listen
00:01:58He didn't even say listen up
00:02:00He wrote or said it with a ha before it
00:02:05Which means it's a question
00:02:07Whether or not you want to listen to this
00:02:13My daughter
00:02:15And he didn't use my daughter
00:02:16As a term suggesting that he was his daughter
00:02:21It just simply means that she was a young woman of marital age
00:02:25And that was it
00:02:29Do not go walking over to
00:02:32So he is giving her some advice
00:02:36Under the auspices of her free will
00:02:40Do not go over walking to glean
00:02:43LeCotte in any other field
00:02:45Oh, he knew what she was doing
00:02:47She was gleaning from his field
00:02:49Which means she was engaged in a secondary harvest
00:02:52Picking up what the primary harvesters had missed
00:02:56In addition, you should not pass over
00:02:59Or out of this one here
00:03:03I would urge you to stay close
00:03:07And to associate with my na'ara
00:03:13My young women, female attendants and youths
00:03:16Who are rustling about
00:03:17And who are young for their age
00:03:21As I shared yesterday
00:03:23It's almost as if he is saying
00:03:25You know, I've got a spot open
00:03:28And my rotation here
00:03:31And these are the women that I hang out with
00:03:33You may want to become one of them
00:03:37And you know, it was sort of an interesting proposition
00:03:39And that she had come into town
00:03:43And had been soliciting his attention
00:03:46And so that's where we stand
00:03:50On the first communication
00:03:52Between Ruth and Boaz
00:03:55Noting that in the earlier part of this chapter
00:03:59Ruth had been given a dossier
00:04:01From Naomi on Boaz
00:04:04And it was an impressive introduction
00:04:06And she said then
00:04:09Let's go immediately
00:04:10There's no time to waste
00:04:11I'm headed off to one of Boaz's fields
00:04:15And that's where we found her
00:04:17And she had been gleaning all day
00:04:21So clearly, as I have shared again
00:04:24That Ruth was under no obligation
00:04:26To listen to Boaz
00:04:28Even though she was on his property
00:04:30And removing his barley
00:04:32And that's a rather important proposition
00:04:36And Boaz's opening statement to Ruth
00:04:39Could be pondered as I've shared
00:04:41In any one of a number of different ways
00:04:44First, he clearly wanted her
00:04:46To feel welcome on his property
00:04:49And he wanted to keep her close
00:04:52Where he could keep an eye on her
00:04:53Now that means that he was either concerned
00:04:56For her safety if she went elsewhere
00:04:59Making him protective
00:05:00Or he himself was interested in her
00:05:03Now, for someone to say
00:05:05Away, you know, it's kind of pushing it
00:05:08She's just a woman out there
00:05:09Gleaning some barley
00:05:12What could possibly go wrong?
00:05:13You know, it's not like
00:05:14She's going to get molested elsewhere
00:05:17Well, that's not the case
00:05:20The story that leads to this one
00:05:22In Shafat Judges
00:05:24Closing out the end of that book
00:05:26Is about a woman
00:05:28Who was abandoned by her man
00:05:30Thrown out the door to an angry mob
00:05:34And she was raped to death
00:05:38Not far from this very place
00:05:42In fact, less than a day's walk
00:05:45From this very place
00:05:47And that woman had come from Bethlehem
00:05:50As it turns out
00:05:51So, Boaz was also suggesting to Ruth
00:05:58That he approved her
00:06:00Leaning in his field
00:06:01And he encouraged her to continue
00:06:04Now, of course, that means that Boaz
00:06:06Was Torah observant
00:06:07Because that is what the Torah
00:06:10Instructs
00:06:12Particularly as it relates to a widow
00:06:15Or an orphan
00:06:17It's important
00:06:19That they be given access
00:06:21To food, shelter, clothing
00:06:23And the like
00:06:25And so he wanted to make certain
00:06:27That she knew
00:06:29She was entitled to these things
00:06:31In a community governed by the Torah
00:06:35Well, that, of course
00:06:36And the likelihood is that
00:06:38He thought she was pretty
00:06:41Now, the rest of the story
00:06:43As it plays out from here
00:06:47He mentioned already Passover
00:06:49He used a bar to speak of it
00:06:52This was the barley harvest
00:06:54Which means that we were in the midst
00:06:58Of celebrating Passover that year
00:07:01And he wanted her to be part of it with him
00:07:07It also indicates that there were many
00:07:10Na'ara women
00:07:11And female attendants
00:07:13Rustling about
00:07:14Who were associated with Boaz
00:07:18He didn't just employ men
00:07:21He wanted to make certain
00:07:23That women also had the opportunity
00:07:26To work
00:07:30Sorry, but Asher was biting her paws again
00:07:35And since he was the kind of unofficial mayor of Bethlehem
00:07:40May have been the governor of Yahudah
00:07:43Considering his overall status
00:07:45He was clearly keeping it professional
00:07:48He had a reputation to uphold
00:07:50And it was a very good one
00:07:53Now, in this initial observation
00:07:56What is subsequently said
00:08:00Indicates that Ruth may have been very talented
00:08:04At a number of things
00:08:06She clearly had a gift of gab
00:08:09She was exceedingly bright
00:08:12She had character
00:08:14But when it came to gleaning barley
00:08:17She was a novice
00:08:21And what he said next
00:08:24Is to suggest
00:08:26That she not be laughed at
00:08:28For her lack of skills in this area
00:08:30And not be hampered
00:08:32In any way
00:08:34Just because she had
00:08:35No game in this regard
00:08:37Did not mean that she didn't have game elsewhere
00:08:40And that's where it gets interesting
00:08:43Since
00:08:45The man we could equate
00:08:47To having total confidence
00:08:49He didn't just couch his opening statement
00:08:54In a question
00:08:56He continued
00:08:59Along those lines
00:09:01With another very leading question
00:09:05He says
00:09:06Focus your eyes on the field
00:09:08That beneficially
00:09:10They are harvesting
00:09:12Pay attention to what you're doing, girl
00:09:14And walk following after them
00:09:17They're setting an example
00:09:19You could learn from their example
00:09:23Well, that's a very nice way to say
00:09:24I've been noticing
00:09:26And yeah
00:09:27You're not very good at this
00:09:28So
00:09:29He's saying that
00:09:30If you walk after them
00:09:32You'll be following their examples
00:09:34And if you keep focused
00:09:36You'll understand what it is
00:09:38That they're doing
00:09:39This isn't something
00:09:41That you have ever done before
00:09:42Obviously
00:09:44And he says
00:09:45This is the question
00:09:46And it's written as a negation of a question
00:09:50And it's a pretty provocative
00:09:53If you really get down to it
00:09:56He asked her
00:09:57Have I not instructed
00:10:01With the rip-roaring associates
00:10:03That are rustling about the other men
00:10:06To not touch you?
00:10:11He's asking her whether or not
00:10:13He told the younger men
00:10:18Or just more aggressive men
00:10:22The louder of the men
00:10:26Not to touch her
00:10:31Then he says
00:10:32When you're thirsty
00:10:33Then go to the vessels
00:10:36And you should drink
00:10:37From what is beneficial
00:10:38That the men
00:10:40Not acting their age perhaps
00:10:42Have drawn and carried
00:10:44Ruth
00:10:45Feminine
00:10:46Companion
00:10:472-9
00:10:47So
00:10:48What are we to make of?
00:10:51Have I not instructed
00:10:53They are
00:10:54To refrain from touching you?
00:10:58Now the rabbis want to make this a story
00:11:01Of how a lowly foreigner
00:11:04Was openly accepted among Jews
00:11:06But that doesn't appear to be the case
00:11:10Boaz was among the few
00:11:11Who accepted her
00:11:12And championed her cause
00:11:15He was concerned
00:11:16That if she wandered away
00:11:19Well
00:11:20She'd be molested
00:11:21And he need
00:11:22She needed to think
00:11:23Whether or not
00:11:24He had already warned
00:11:28Other men not to touch her
00:11:30And to leave her alone
00:11:32And whether or not
00:11:33That was in her best interest
00:11:35I mean the reason
00:11:36He's saying it is
00:11:37That
00:11:39Based upon what happened
00:11:40In
00:11:42The last chapters
00:11:44Of Shafat Judges
00:11:45Preceding this story
00:11:47As it reads right after them
00:11:50Is that a woman was raped to death
00:11:55Very close to where they were standing
00:11:58And it started a civil war
00:12:00And so
00:12:01He didn't know if she was aware of that
00:12:04And so he wanted her to know
00:12:06That it was dangerous out there for a woman
00:12:09And he didn't want to be
00:12:11You know to the point of saying
00:12:13Listen you're safe here
00:12:14Because I've told everyone not to touch you
00:12:18To leave you alone
00:12:19He didn't want to go off and say that
00:12:21Because what if she was there
00:12:22To solicit the attention of other men
00:12:25And she was looking for a potential new husband
00:12:30So
00:12:30He was in a little bit of a tight spot
00:12:33So he's more like asking
00:12:35Should I tell everyone not to touch you
00:12:38And leave you alone
00:12:38Is that what you would prefer?
00:12:41Because
00:12:41If I don't
00:12:43You need to be concerned
00:12:47That you could well be molested
00:12:50Because that's the last time
00:12:51The last story that we know
00:12:53That occurred here
00:12:55Now this put Boaz
00:12:57I think in a difficult spot
00:12:59Why was he physically protective
00:13:03Of a woman
00:13:05That he had only known for five minutes
00:13:07Other than it was in his nature
00:13:08To be that way
00:13:10To be protective
00:13:13Why was he telling every other man
00:13:15To stay away from an eligible and attractive woman
00:13:19Unless he knew that the other men
00:13:23Were nefarious
00:13:24And that they would likely do what they had done
00:13:28Not long ago
00:13:30Raping a woman to death
00:13:34Was perhaps Boaz trying to say
00:13:38Hey girl, I'm interested in you
00:13:41You know, in this particular town
00:13:44You know, I've got some horsepower
00:13:48We'd have a nice life together
00:13:50Are you interested?
00:13:51Maybe that's what he was doing
00:13:53Did he actually make such a statement?
00:13:56Did he actually make that kind of pronouncement?
00:13:58He went off to learn a lot about her
00:14:01While he was doing it
00:14:02Did he tell everybody to cool their jets?
00:14:06Now the answer, of course, is that
00:14:08He was trying to protect her
00:14:11And likely also
00:14:13He was trying to say
00:14:15I would like first claim on her
00:14:18Albeit
00:14:19Only if I can earn her consent
00:14:23It was
00:14:24As if he were asking
00:14:26Her
00:14:27Now
00:14:28Should I tell all of the other men
00:14:30To leave you alone?
00:14:32So that
00:14:33Perhaps
00:14:34We might get together?
00:14:38And
00:14:38Truthfully
00:14:40I think this is how she read it too
00:14:44And I think her answer was
00:14:47Yes
00:14:49In fact, I know her answer was yes
00:14:52So he put her on notice that
00:14:54She accepted his offer of hospitality
00:14:57He, his men
00:14:58And his women
00:15:00Would take care of her
00:15:02She'd have a place to live
00:15:03And to work
00:15:05And something to eat and drink
00:15:07All while being valued and
00:15:11Safe
00:15:13Therefore
00:15:15That's exactly how she read it
00:15:17Because
00:15:18She fell
00:15:20So she dropped down
00:15:22On her face
00:15:25Without any encouragement
00:15:27She expressed
00:15:29Her thoughts
00:15:30Without compulsion
00:15:33Or provocation
00:15:34She explained her thinking
00:15:36Which means that she was not influenced by anyone
00:15:39Other than herself
00:15:41Imperfect
00:15:43Ongoing
00:15:45Third person
00:15:45Feminine singular
00:15:48She not only
00:15:50Get a face pant
00:15:51Right there in front of him
00:15:54But she expressed her thoughts
00:15:56In doing so
00:15:58To the earth and to the land
00:16:01And she said to him
00:16:02Why?
00:16:05Ah, one of my favorite questions
00:16:07Madua
00:16:09For what reason or cause
00:16:12Have I obtained
00:16:15Have I achieved and found
00:16:18Now experienced
00:16:20Favor
00:16:22Charming compassion
00:16:24And a kind acceptance
00:16:26You know, by not bossing her around
00:16:28By saying
00:16:30I'm going to ask you a couple of
00:16:32Of questions
00:16:33You can interpret them however you want
00:16:35You can listen however
00:16:36If you choose to
00:16:38But I'm going to give you a little lay of the land
00:16:40Let you know that you are absolutely welcome
00:16:43And I will go even further
00:16:45I'll put you under my protection
00:16:48And I'll make certain that I show you the ropes, kids
00:16:51So that you're comfortable here
00:16:53And maybe there's even potential for more
00:16:59And so she viewed it that way
00:17:01You know
00:17:03Why is it
00:17:05That I have attained
00:17:07Favor
00:17:09Charming compassion
00:17:11And a kind acceptance in your eyes
00:17:13That
00:17:15You would
00:17:17Nakar
00:17:19Be observant
00:17:21Regarding me
00:17:23Recognize
00:17:24And consider me
00:17:27You would
00:17:28Notice me
00:17:29Acknowledge me
00:17:31Making all of this known
00:17:34To me
00:17:36This was written in the Hiffle
00:17:39Infinitive
00:17:39Which makes
00:17:40Nakar a title
00:17:42An actionable title
00:17:45Nakar is one of
00:17:47Boaz's most important
00:17:49Titles
00:17:49And here she was
00:17:52In her first
00:17:54Dialogue with him
00:17:57Referring to him as the Nakar
00:17:59In other words
00:18:01This woman
00:18:03Came on the scene
00:18:04More aware of who Boaz was
00:18:06Than probably anybody within
00:18:09Bethlehem
00:18:10Maybe
00:18:11Yoda
00:18:11Maybe all of Yisrael
00:18:16That you would
00:18:17Nakar
00:18:19That you would be Nakar
00:18:20Toward me
00:18:24Recognize and consider me
00:18:27Because
00:18:29I am
00:18:30I am
00:18:36A Nakara
00:18:39I am
00:18:40Unobservant foreigner
00:18:42It means
00:18:43She knew the meaning
00:18:44Of that word
00:18:45She knew exactly
00:18:47What she was saying
00:18:48To him
00:18:51She said
00:18:51We are
00:18:52A pair
00:18:53Aren't we
00:18:54You are the Nakar
00:18:55I am
00:18:56The Nakara
00:18:59I too
00:19:00An observant one
00:19:02I am a woman
00:19:03From a distant place
00:19:05Who considers
00:19:06Correlates
00:19:08And
00:19:09Comprehends
00:19:11Ruth
00:19:11Feminine companion
00:19:142
00:19:1510
00:19:15Now that my friends
00:19:17Is a
00:19:18Bombshell
00:19:20She acknowledged
00:19:21In her first response
00:19:23To Boaz
00:19:25That
00:19:26He was being
00:19:28Exceedingly
00:19:29Kind
00:19:29Generous
00:19:31Welcoming
00:19:33To her
00:19:36Because
00:19:36He was the Nakar
00:19:39And
00:19:39She
00:19:39Was
00:19:41His mate
00:19:41She was
00:19:43The Nakara
00:19:44What an amazing
00:19:47Pronunciation
00:19:48This
00:19:49This woman
00:19:50Had it together
00:19:52I would
00:19:52Go so far
00:19:54As to say
00:19:54This woman
00:19:56Was smarter
00:19:57And more aware
00:19:57Of what God
00:19:58Was
00:19:58Seeking
00:19:59And
00:20:01Trying to accomplish
00:20:03And all the women
00:20:04And Israel
00:20:05Combined
00:20:08So
00:20:09Clearly
00:20:11She
00:20:11Not only
00:20:12Accepted his
00:20:13Proposal
00:20:14And the way
00:20:16She interpreted
00:20:17It
00:20:17Which is the way
00:20:19That I have presented
00:20:19It
00:20:21She was
00:20:22Grateful
00:20:24For his
00:20:25Pronouncements
00:20:26Of course
00:20:28It had been a rough life
00:20:29And now
00:20:30She was
00:20:31More vulnerable
00:20:32Than
00:20:32Ever
00:20:35She
00:20:36Not only
00:20:37Had a
00:20:37Benefactor
00:20:39They
00:20:40Were perfectly
00:20:41Paired
00:20:43She
00:20:45Was the
00:20:46Nakara
00:20:47To the
00:20:48Nakar
00:20:48They were bookends
00:20:52It
00:20:53It
00:20:53May seem
00:20:54Out of sync
00:20:55With them
00:20:56Falling in love
00:20:57That she would
00:20:58Fall at his
00:20:59Feet
00:21:00But
00:21:01We've
00:21:01Used that
00:21:03Term I guess
00:21:04In loving relationships
00:21:06Through the ages
00:21:06Haven't we
00:21:09And she did
00:21:10This very thing
00:21:13But
00:21:14It was her choice
00:21:15Which he did not
00:21:17Do anything other than
00:21:18Try to lift her up
00:21:19He was encouraging
00:21:21To her
00:21:21He was welcoming
00:21:22To her
00:21:22It was she
00:21:24Who responded
00:21:25This way
00:21:26And of her own
00:21:27Free will
00:21:27And she was thrilled
00:21:29To do it
00:21:30This was not an act
00:21:31Of
00:21:32Of
00:21:33Her responding
00:21:34In fear
00:21:35Because
00:21:36She said
00:21:37You've been
00:21:38Charming
00:21:39You've been so
00:21:40Kind to me
00:21:42It was her
00:21:44Responding
00:21:46In a
00:21:47In a way
00:21:48Where you express
00:21:49Love
00:21:50By saying
00:21:51You are so
00:21:52Extraordinary
00:21:54In the way
00:21:55That you have
00:21:58Reached out
00:21:58To
00:21:59Help me
00:22:00To be kind
00:22:01To me
00:22:02To lift me up
00:22:05To shelter me
00:22:08That
00:22:09I want to be vulnerable
00:22:11With you
00:22:12Because
00:22:12For the first time
00:22:13In my life
00:22:14I can be vulnerable
00:22:15With a man
00:22:15That I know
00:22:16I can trust
00:22:20And in so doing
00:22:21She opened
00:22:22The floodgates
00:22:23For love
00:22:26She
00:22:26Knew
00:22:27What she was doing
00:22:29She wanted
00:22:31What
00:22:32She knew
00:22:34She could provide
00:22:37And that he
00:22:38And that he could
00:22:38Offer in return
00:22:44Something that most people do not know
00:22:46But
00:22:46It is nevertheless true
00:22:50And surrendering
00:22:51Her will to his
00:22:53Voluntarily
00:22:56She knew
00:22:57That he
00:22:59Would be responsible
00:23:00For her
00:23:02And she had
00:23:04Already sized
00:23:05Him up
00:23:06And she knew
00:23:07That the moment
00:23:09She put
00:23:11Him
00:23:11In the position
00:23:12Where
00:23:13He was responsible
00:23:15For her
00:23:15He taught her
00:23:16How to glean
00:23:17He
00:23:19Welcomed
00:23:19Her into
00:23:21His home
00:23:21Into his life
00:23:23That he served
00:23:24As her benefactor
00:23:26And her protector
00:23:28She was freer
00:23:29Than she would have
00:23:30Ever been
00:23:31Under any other
00:23:32Circumstance
00:23:33The woman
00:23:33Who wasn't
00:23:35Afraid to
00:23:36Tell the world
00:23:37What she thought
00:23:38Would be able
00:23:39To do so
00:23:41Even more
00:23:42Aggressively
00:23:43She knew
00:23:44She could
00:23:44For the first time
00:23:45In her life
00:23:46Be exactly
00:23:48Who she was
00:23:48That she could expose
00:23:49Herself
00:23:50And become vulnerable
00:23:52And the more
00:23:53Exposed
00:23:53And vulnerable
00:23:54She was
00:23:55The more
00:23:56Liberated she would
00:23:57Be
00:23:58With this man
00:24:00This is a
00:24:01Very
00:24:03Sophisticated
00:24:04Well developed
00:24:06Approach
00:24:07To love
00:24:08Can't say
00:24:09That it's for
00:24:09Everybody
00:24:12There'd be
00:24:12So many cases
00:24:13That a woman
00:24:14Submits to a man
00:24:15That he would
00:24:16Take advantage of her
00:24:17That
00:24:18Her
00:24:19Ability to assess
00:24:20The situation
00:24:21Would be
00:24:22Inadequate
00:24:23And it would be
00:24:24A tragic move
00:24:25For her
00:24:26And there are
00:24:27Many women
00:24:28Who can't even
00:24:28Imagine
00:24:30Surrendering
00:24:31Their will
00:24:32To another
00:24:35And yet
00:24:37This was the brightest
00:24:39Most confident
00:24:42Strongest woman
00:24:42Now in Israel
00:24:45And she did this
00:24:46And gained
00:24:48And gained
00:24:49In every
00:24:49Possible
00:24:50Way
00:24:55In
00:24:57Surrendering
00:24:57Her will
00:24:59To his
00:25:01He knew
00:25:02That she knew
00:25:03That a very good
00:25:04Man
00:25:05Would be
00:25:06Responsible for her
00:25:08And that is what she
00:25:09Craved
00:25:11She could be
00:25:13She could be
00:25:13What Chawa
00:25:14Was not
00:25:16She knew
00:25:17That she could
00:25:19Return
00:25:20That gift
00:25:21By being
00:25:22Supportive
00:25:23Realizing that
00:25:25No matter
00:25:26How much trouble
00:25:28She may
00:25:28Cause
00:25:29By being so
00:25:30Bold
00:25:31And
00:25:32Clearly she was
00:25:33An acquired taste
00:25:34He would support her
00:25:36He would encourage her
00:25:38He would have her back
00:25:42So she bowed down
00:25:44Knowing
00:25:45That she could trust him
00:25:47To lift her up
00:25:50She knew
00:25:51The greatest gift
00:25:52She could give
00:25:53This man
00:25:55Is the affirmation
00:25:56That she trusted him
00:25:59With her life
00:26:01And that
00:26:02Is something he found
00:26:05Absolutely
00:26:07Irresistible
00:26:13Leah
00:26:15And I
00:26:16Actually began
00:26:18Our life this way
00:26:19It's one of the reasons
00:26:21I know so much about it
00:26:24With her brilliantly
00:26:26Articulating
00:26:27The reasons
00:26:28Why
00:26:28She
00:26:29As an
00:26:30Extremely
00:26:31Accomplished
00:26:35Strong
00:26:36Willed
00:26:36Well
00:26:37Read
00:26:38Very
00:26:39Bright
00:26:40Woman
00:26:42Was so eager
00:26:44To
00:26:44Explore
00:26:46Surrendering
00:26:47Herself
00:26:48To a man
00:26:49Who would value
00:26:50Her life over
00:26:51His own
00:26:53Particularly
00:26:54Since
00:26:55She had come out
00:26:56Of a horrible
00:26:57Situation
00:26:57Situation
00:27:00It was the most
00:27:01Liberating
00:27:02And rewarding
00:27:04Thing that
00:27:05She had ever done
00:27:07And it had life
00:27:09Transforming results
00:27:11She went from a woman
00:27:13Who was a recluse
00:27:15Living all alone
00:27:17Sometimes going days
00:27:18Without even going outdoors
00:27:22To now
00:27:22One of the most
00:27:23Famous
00:27:24Women in the world
00:27:26The most
00:27:27Important
00:27:28Woman
00:27:29In the world
00:27:31So sometimes
00:27:33If you know
00:27:35When and why
00:27:36To offer
00:27:37Your free will
00:27:41You can have it magnified
00:27:44She did
00:27:46The results speak
00:27:47For themselves
00:27:51The prophetic realism
00:27:52Of Ruth
00:27:54Referring to Boaz
00:27:55As the Nakar
00:27:57And herself
00:27:58As the Nakara
00:28:00Quite frankly
00:28:01Is breathtaking
00:28:03He was prophesied
00:28:05To be the Nakar
00:28:06The observant foreigner
00:28:08All the way back
00:28:10Into
00:28:11Dabadim
00:28:12In the Torah
00:28:18And
00:28:19He was the foreigner
00:28:22That would conduct
00:28:24The Shabuah Harvest
00:28:25And the Teruah Gleaning
00:28:27That she would
00:28:29Partner with
00:28:30To accomplish these things
00:28:32That are so important
00:28:33To God
00:28:35Now since there is
00:28:37A chapter
00:28:38Devoted
00:28:38To the Nakar
00:28:40And Dabadim
00:28:41With Moshe
00:28:42Delineating his role
00:28:43In the last days
00:28:45And a myriad
00:28:46Of prophecies
00:28:48Thereafter
00:28:49About him
00:28:51This
00:28:52May be
00:28:53Boaz's
00:28:54Most relevant title
00:28:58And what's so
00:29:00Extraordinary
00:29:01Is that
00:29:01At this moment
00:29:02He was the
00:29:04Ultimate
00:29:05Insider
00:29:07While she was
00:29:08The foreigner
00:29:09Therefore the foreigner
00:29:11Aspect
00:29:12Of the title
00:29:12Is designated
00:29:13To convey
00:29:15That he
00:29:16Is
00:29:18Never part
00:29:20Of the religious
00:29:21And political
00:29:22Establishment
00:29:25But is presented
00:29:26To disrupt
00:29:27The status quo
00:29:29Even
00:29:30Even
00:29:31In its midst
00:29:35With the woman
00:29:36At his feet
00:29:38Boaz
00:29:40Lifted her up
00:29:41So that she would
00:29:42Soar
00:29:44First
00:29:45He reminded her
00:29:47That
00:29:49Well she was right
00:29:50About him
00:29:53He was in charge
00:29:55And there was
00:29:56No one
00:29:58Anywhere
00:30:01At
00:30:01Any time
00:30:03Who would be able
00:30:05To resist
00:30:06What God would do
00:30:07With him
00:30:10Boaz
00:30:11Forceful and fortified
00:30:13Resilient and
00:30:14Resolute
00:30:15Responded to her
00:30:16And he answered
00:30:19He replied
00:30:21I
00:30:23Imposed myself
00:30:26To compel a
00:30:27Complete accounting
00:30:29Demanding
00:30:31That I receive
00:30:33All pertinent
00:30:35Information
00:30:37Nagad
00:30:41Nagad
00:30:42To be an influence
00:30:43To assure
00:30:45That everything
00:30:47That could be known
00:30:49Was told to me
00:30:51Hopeful
00:30:53Infinitive
00:30:55Hopeful
00:30:55Infinitive
00:30:56Boom
00:30:56Boom
00:30:58Everything
00:30:58Which beneficially
00:31:01And relationally
00:31:03You have
00:31:05Ever done
00:31:08With your mother-in-law
00:31:12All of it
00:31:15Following the
00:31:16Death of your husband
00:31:21You left
00:31:23Forsaking your father
00:31:26And your mother
00:31:29Even the land of your relatives
00:31:31Where you were born
00:31:33And you traveled to a people
00:31:36Who to show the way to the benefits of this relationship
00:31:40You did not
00:31:42Yada
00:31:42You didn't know
00:31:46You were unfamiliar
00:31:50Just the day
00:31:51Before
00:31:53Yesterday
00:31:57Ruth Feminine Companion
00:32:002-11
00:32:04There's not many people
00:32:05That are going to respond to
00:32:07A beautiful woman
00:32:09Laying at their feet
00:32:10Essentially saying
00:32:12I think you are charming
00:32:15And
00:32:16I'm yours
00:32:18And respond with
00:32:19I have done a
00:32:21Comprehensive investigation
00:32:22As to who you are
00:32:25That's what he did
00:32:28And that's what he said
00:32:30Because it's not just as important
00:32:32That he did it
00:32:33But that he told her about it
00:32:36And you say
00:32:37What's the big deal?
00:32:39Why would anybody on our first date
00:32:42Go up to a pretty girl
00:32:43And say I've done a comprehensive
00:32:47Investigation regarding you
00:32:48I know everything there is to know about you
00:32:52Because
00:32:54She was obviously beautiful
00:32:56She was obviously vulnerable
00:32:59And she had made herself
00:33:01Hugely
00:33:03More so
00:33:04Vulnerable that is
00:33:05Probably beautiful too
00:33:09And he wanted her to know
00:33:11That whatever he said next
00:33:15Wasn't based on her being pretty
00:33:19But based upon her character
00:33:21On her reputation
00:33:24On what she had done
00:33:27He wanted her to know
00:33:30That he
00:33:32Valued her character
00:33:36And that he cared enough
00:33:38About her
00:33:39That he was interested enough
00:33:41In her
00:33:44That
00:33:46Before he approached her
00:33:48He came to know everything
00:33:50There was to know about her
00:33:51And the more he came to know
00:33:54The more he cared
00:33:56The more he was falling in love with her
00:34:01Now
00:34:02That's a very unusual set of circumstances
00:34:05Isn't it?
00:34:07Almost all the time
00:34:08People
00:34:10Are strictly
00:34:13Attracted based upon appearances
00:34:15And
00:34:15That obviously
00:34:17Was at play here
00:34:20But
00:34:22Her attitude
00:34:24And
00:34:26His
00:34:28Approach
00:34:30Are extraordinary
00:34:31And uncommon
00:34:32Special
00:34:33It establishes
00:34:35The grounds for equality relationship
00:34:40That
00:34:41Is being modeled here
00:34:43Because
00:34:43These two
00:34:45Are being presented
00:34:46As the model for the covenant
00:34:51She was saying
00:34:53Of my own free will
00:34:56I'm going to trust you
00:34:58I'm going to surrender to you
00:34:59And let you lead me
00:35:01And guide me
00:35:01And protect me
00:35:02Just as
00:35:03We should all say to you
00:35:07And rather than say
00:35:08Hey, you know, that'd be really nifty
00:35:09That's fair
00:35:10I'll place my faith into him
00:35:11He didn't use faith at all
00:35:14Knowledge
00:35:15Information is power
00:35:17He knew
00:35:18Exactly
00:35:20What he was getting into
00:35:23He could articulate
00:35:24Everything there was to know
00:35:26He knew
00:35:28As we should know
00:35:31Who God is
00:35:33He did his thorough investigation
00:35:36And the more he learned
00:35:37The more impressed he became
00:35:40And so
00:35:42This is really
00:35:43A model for
00:35:45How we should approach
00:35:46Yahweh in the covenant
00:35:49Head and heart
00:35:52Now when she fell before him
00:35:54And then
00:35:56She passed the test
00:35:58That Chawa had failed
00:36:00Even using Chawa's name
00:36:03Punctuating her comments
00:36:05By explaining that
00:36:06She was the Nakara
00:36:08To his Nakar
00:36:10He responded in a big
00:36:12And magnanimous way
00:36:15And he began by revealing
00:36:18That he had done a background check on her
00:36:21And that he was duly impressed
00:36:25This is the first time
00:36:27I have seen the hopeful stem
00:36:30Paired with the infinitive mood
00:36:34And then repeated
00:36:37For additional emphasis
00:36:40It is to say that
00:36:42Boaz forced compliance
00:36:44Such that anyone who knew
00:36:46Anything about Ruth
00:36:48Was compelled to spill the barley
00:36:51There'd be no holding back
00:36:54No HIPAA rules
00:36:58Prohibiting disclosure
00:37:02This woman
00:37:04Wouldn't be hidden under a veil
00:37:07There'd be no burka
00:37:12The woman standing before him
00:37:14Was clearly bright
00:37:16She was beautiful
00:37:17And of course she was bold
00:37:20She was as uncommon
00:37:22As a seven carat
00:37:23Flawless blue diamond
00:37:25Glimmering in the light
00:37:30He knew that she had earned
00:37:35Naomi's trust
00:37:36Even endured
00:37:37Naomi's attitude
00:37:40Which was really crappy
00:37:42He knew that she had phrased
00:37:46The greatest lines
00:37:47Any woman has ever uttered
00:37:50As she came into town
00:37:54He knew
00:37:56That she realized
00:37:58Her rights and responsibilities
00:38:00Under the Torah
00:38:01Which means she was Torah observant
00:38:04That would make for a really
00:38:07Keen relationship
00:38:07Wouldn't it?
00:38:10How many men and women
00:38:13Are single in the Torah
00:38:14That would like to meet
00:38:15Another man or woman
00:38:16That shares their passion
00:38:17For the Torah
00:38:18And he had found his
00:38:19And she had found hers
00:38:23He knew that
00:38:24She was a hard worker
00:38:27Even if she
00:38:28Wasn't particularly skilled
00:38:30At the job she was presently doing
00:38:32But that's okay
00:38:32He was
00:38:35He knew that
00:38:36She wouldn't relent
00:38:38And
00:38:39You're going to be
00:38:40The nakar
00:38:41And the nakara
00:38:42Not relenting is a big deal
00:38:45They're tough jobs
00:38:48He knew that
00:38:49She was not married
00:38:52He knew that
00:38:54She
00:38:56Knew him
00:38:57That she had gotten
00:38:58A full dossier
00:38:59On
00:39:00Boaz
00:39:01And he knew that
00:39:03By surrendering
00:39:04To him
00:39:05And by
00:39:07Reversing the course
00:39:08And the curse
00:39:09Of Chawa
00:39:11That well
00:39:12She would own
00:39:13A good part of him
00:39:16And I mean that
00:39:17In the nicest
00:39:18Possible way
00:39:20The woman at his feet
00:39:22Would soon rise
00:39:23To the queen
00:39:24Of the castle
00:39:28She just took a more confident
00:39:30Approach
00:39:32In doing so
00:39:35Now more
00:39:36Than this
00:39:37By being the woman
00:39:38Who forsook
00:39:39Her father and mother
00:39:41And left her country
00:39:43To walk to Yahweh
00:39:46She framed an explanation
00:39:48For the
00:39:51First and
00:39:53Second conditions
00:39:54Of the
00:39:55Covenant
00:39:56And she
00:39:57Is perhaps
00:39:59The answer
00:40:00We have long sought
00:40:02To fully appreciate
00:40:03The second statement
00:40:05That Yahweh etched
00:40:06On the second tablet
00:40:10As the
00:40:11Nakara
00:40:12And the Amma
00:40:14Who delivered
00:40:15The kinsman
00:40:16Redeemer
00:40:17Who partnered
00:40:18With Boaz
00:40:20She would become
00:40:22The valued mother
00:40:25Who would prolong
00:40:26The days
00:40:28Of the covenant
00:40:29Family
00:40:31And the mortal remnant
00:40:32In conjunction
00:40:33With the
00:40:34Arama
00:40:37Boaz
00:40:38Was that man
00:40:40And she
00:40:41Was now
00:40:42The living embodiment
00:40:45Of the second statement
00:40:46On the second tablet
00:40:49She was
00:40:51Also
00:40:52Also
00:40:52The exemplar
00:40:54Of the covenant's
00:40:56Prerequisite
00:40:59But more than anything else
00:41:01Boaz
00:41:02Was
00:41:04Conversant
00:41:04With Yahweh
00:41:05And God revealed
00:41:07This woman's importance
00:41:08To him
00:41:10God himself
00:41:10Will work
00:41:12Through her
00:41:13To fulfill
00:41:13What he
00:41:14Wants to achieve
00:41:15He knew
00:41:17That she had said that
00:41:18This is the highest calling
00:41:21Afforded
00:41:21Any person
00:41:22And it was being said
00:41:25Of a woman
00:41:28One now
00:41:30At her man's feet
00:41:35This line
00:41:37Second only to
00:41:39The one that
00:41:40Ruth uttered
00:41:42Coming into town
00:41:44Where
00:41:44She said that
00:41:46She said that
00:41:46I want my life
00:41:47To be so
00:41:49Pleasing to Yah
00:41:50That he will want to
00:41:52Repeat
00:41:53And deploy me
00:41:54Yet again
00:41:56This is what
00:41:58Moaz had to say
00:41:59To her
00:42:01Yahweh
00:42:03Will choose
00:42:04To complete
00:42:06Finishing
00:42:07He will want to
00:42:09Fulfill the means
00:42:10To provide
00:42:10Restoration
00:42:11And recompense
00:42:13Bringing to
00:42:15Conclusion
00:42:17Your work
00:42:21And there will be
00:42:23A reward for you
00:42:26When
00:42:27You are finished
00:42:29Providing restoration
00:42:32With
00:42:32The fulfillment
00:42:35Of reconciliation
00:42:37When all
00:42:38The conflict
00:42:39Is resolved
00:42:40And the means to
00:42:41Peace is completely
00:42:42Provided
00:42:43In the end
00:42:43By way of a
00:42:45Fellowship offering
00:42:47On account of
00:42:48Being with
00:42:50Yahweh
00:42:51The mighty one of Yisrael
00:42:54Of individuals
00:42:54Who engage
00:42:57And endure with God
00:42:59Who to show the way
00:43:00To the relationship
00:43:04You have come
00:43:08Under his wing
00:43:11And the hem
00:43:13Near the corner of his garment
00:43:17You have found comfort
00:43:18And refuge
00:43:21And a safe
00:43:23And trusted place
00:43:28Ruth or should we call it Boaz
00:43:33212
00:43:35It's a lot to say to a woman
00:43:37That's in the middle of your
00:43:39Barley field
00:43:41Who's wrapped around your ankles
00:43:46That's a lot to say isn't it
00:43:50She recognized him as the
00:43:52Nakkar
00:43:52She said that she was the
00:43:55Nakkara
00:43:57The way into town
00:43:58She knew that her life
00:44:00Would be so pleasing to Yahweh
00:44:01That Yahweh would choose to redeploy her
00:44:05And now
00:44:07Boaz was
00:44:09Saying that
00:44:10Yeah
00:44:11I've
00:44:14I've talked with Yahweh
00:44:16I know all about you
00:44:19You see
00:44:22The
00:44:24Local folks in the community
00:44:26Were not the
00:44:27Only ones
00:44:29Boaz asked about
00:44:31Ruth
00:44:34You see Boaz went to his closest friend of all
00:44:40Boaz and Yahweh were buds
00:44:44They were always
00:44:45They were always been buds
00:44:47They've worked together
00:44:49For thousands of years
00:44:52They trust one another
00:44:55And so what this says is that
00:44:57Boaz
00:44:59Asked Yahweh
00:45:02About Ruth
00:45:05And this is an answer only Yahweh could have given him
00:45:11Now that
00:45:13Is extraordinary
00:45:14Is it not?
00:45:18A woman wrapped around his ankles
00:45:22And he is saying
00:45:23To her
00:45:26That Yahweh will choose to complete
00:45:30Finishing
00:45:32Your work
00:45:34Your mission
00:45:35Your very purpose in life
00:45:39Which is what?
00:45:40To be the Yama
00:45:43The Nakara
00:45:45And to deliver the Kinsman Redeemer
00:45:50There is
00:45:51Something about
00:45:54Nakara
00:45:55Kinsman
00:45:57Nakara
00:45:59That I
00:46:01I feel compelled to share with you
00:46:06We
00:46:07Interpret
00:46:09Nakara
00:46:10Being observant foreigner
00:46:13means that the
00:46:15Nakara
00:46:16This individual
00:46:17The Choder
00:46:18The final Zaroah
00:46:21Could not have been a Israelite by ethnicity
00:46:26That he must be a Goy by ethnicity
00:46:32That's
00:46:33Window dressing
00:46:37The Nakara
00:46:39Is a
00:46:40Off-deployed soul
00:46:41That Yahweh
00:46:42Has and continues to
00:46:45Use and rely upon
00:46:47And souls do not have ethnicity
00:46:51And quite frankly
00:46:52There is no ethnicity
00:46:54Associated with
00:46:56Israel either
00:46:56It is a naming convention
00:46:59As is Nakar and Nakara
00:47:03As is Amma
00:47:05As is Ga'al Redeemer
00:47:08These are titles
00:47:11And they're titles for certain souls
00:47:14In their deployment
00:47:16And souls do not have ethnicity
00:47:20So I was very
00:47:21Very accurate
00:47:22When I said that she could call him
00:47:25A Nakar
00:47:26Even though he was the unofficial mayor of Bethlehem
00:47:31Because
00:47:33He wasn't part of that culture
00:47:37He was absolutely not religious
00:47:40He was not political
00:47:43He was not part of that culture
00:47:45And
00:47:46This was not his
00:47:48First rodeo either
00:47:52He was Chanuk
00:47:55Chanuk's not a Israelite
00:47:57He was Noach
00:47:59That Noach is the ultimate outsider, isn't he?
00:48:03Definitely not an Israelite
00:48:06He was
00:48:09Amman
00:48:13And
00:48:14And giving birth to
00:48:15Moshe through
00:48:17Yochabed
00:48:18Who, by the way, was also Ruth
00:48:22That case
00:48:23He would have been
00:48:25A descendant of
00:48:28Abraham and Sarah
00:48:31Twice No
00:48:32Once Yes
00:48:33Twice Yes
00:48:35With Boaz again
00:48:37But
00:48:38It's a naming convention
00:48:39Not an ethnicity
00:48:43And
00:48:45Souls don't have ethnicity
00:48:47And
00:48:48They're speaking of souls here
00:48:51And when she
00:48:53Went into town and said
00:48:56That God's going to be so pleased with
00:48:57My collaboration with him
00:48:59He's going to want to redeploy me
00:49:02That means that
00:49:04She's going to be redeployed as a soul
00:49:08In this case
00:49:10She was not ethnically
00:49:12A
00:49:14Yehud
00:49:16And this life she is
00:49:20Does it really matter?
00:49:23Since it's all a naming convention
00:49:25Since the soul has no ethnicity
00:49:28You know, where we're headed
00:49:29And in the
00:49:32Empowerment of the covenant
00:49:33Where we have
00:49:34A
00:49:35Light energy
00:49:36That envelops our
00:49:38Nefesh souls
00:49:39And Nisama
00:49:40I can assure you
00:49:42There is no DNA
00:49:45You're not going to have
00:49:46A genealogy
00:49:48Not in the sense that
00:49:50You would trace it and say
00:49:52I am here
00:49:53My name's Leigh, I'm Jewish
00:49:55That is not going to happen
00:49:56Going forward
00:49:58So
00:49:59Something very interesting
00:50:02Developing here
00:50:02But he said that Yahweh
00:50:05Yahweh is going to complete your work
00:50:08And Yahweh is going to want to complete your work
00:50:10Which means that Yahweh is going to be
00:50:12The force behind you
00:50:15You're
00:50:15One of those people that Yahweh
00:50:18Is going to
00:50:21Achieve his plans through
00:50:24And
00:50:25It's not just that
00:50:26He's going to do that
00:50:29He wants to do it
00:50:34And
00:50:34Then he says
00:50:36And there will be a reward for you
00:50:41He knows at this point that
00:50:44His best friend's not stingy
00:50:47His best friend's into sharing credit
00:50:49His best friend just happens to
00:50:52Own the universe
00:50:56It's a very rewarding experience
00:51:03When you're finished
00:51:06When you're finished
00:51:08Providing restoration
00:51:10With the ultimate fulfillment of reconciliation
00:51:13Which means
00:51:14Girl I don't know how
00:51:16Much you know about this
00:51:18It's probably a lot
00:51:20But
00:51:22We are
00:51:25We're 3,000 years
00:51:26Or more
00:51:28From finishing this job
00:51:31We have a long way
00:51:33To go
00:51:37On account with being with Yahweh
00:51:38The mighty one of Yisrael
00:51:43And all of this will be to show the way
00:51:47To the relationship
00:51:52And that is the reason that you've come here
00:51:56As for the
00:51:58Kanaf being under his wing
00:52:00She would be under Boaz's wing
00:52:02She would be under Yahweh's wing
00:52:04She would have wings
00:52:07The corner of the garment
00:52:08Was to tie this
00:52:10To the story of
00:52:11Noach
00:52:13To tie this
00:52:15Together with Boaz
00:52:18To tie it together with the last word picture
00:52:22And the garments that the Amma would make
00:52:25For her beloved son Dode
00:52:28And for everyone else in the covenant family
00:52:32It is to tie this with
00:52:35The comments that Dode would make
00:52:38To Michal saying
00:52:39We'll let the Amma decide if I'm Kabud
00:52:42And she is
00:52:44Job Kabud
00:52:46In giving birth to Moshe
00:52:50Kanaf is a very important
00:52:53Clue in this whole story
00:52:56She even
00:52:57When
00:52:58She on their second date
00:53:00Approaches him
00:53:04Wearing
00:53:06Nothing but a smile towards the end
00:53:09And
00:53:10She
00:53:12Tells him to cover her
00:53:13With the corner
00:53:16Of her garment
00:53:19It's
00:53:20All being set up
00:53:23To stay on script
00:53:27And
00:53:28I've long said
00:53:29That the reason
00:53:30That we're told
00:53:31That Adam and Shawa
00:53:33Were naked in the garden
00:53:36And
00:53:36Loved it
00:53:39Is because
00:53:40They had nothing to hide
00:53:44And
00:53:44The more comfortable
00:53:46We are around Yahweh
00:53:49The less
00:53:50We have to hide
00:53:52The more
00:53:53We can relax around him
00:53:55We don't
00:53:57Have to veil
00:53:58Anything from him
00:54:02And that is
00:54:03Also what was being said here
00:54:08We can live under the
00:54:09Same garment
00:54:10We can soar with the same wings
00:54:15We can be
00:54:16Equally exposed
00:54:18To Yah
00:54:20And he says
00:54:21Because of all of this
00:54:23You found your safe place
00:54:25Your trusted place
00:54:29Of course imagine that
00:54:31A childless widow
00:54:32At a time where women
00:54:34Were valued for how much their fathers could charge for them
00:54:38For the esteem the man they married
00:54:41Provided to them
00:54:42And for the sons they bore for them
00:54:45Who was rejected by her father
00:54:48Who walked away from a land born of incest
00:54:53Named
00:54:54Who's your daddy?
00:54:56Childless
00:54:57Upon the death of a sickly husband
00:55:01And alongside a
00:55:03Deeply
00:55:04Deeply
00:55:05Embittered old woman
00:55:08And she or she is
00:55:11In a barley field
00:55:13Not having a clue what she is doing
00:55:16And gleaning it
00:55:18And
00:55:19She comes to a place
00:55:21Where there at least one man
00:55:24Who respected women
00:55:27Even if they just come out of a tragic event
00:55:30Were showed how women were disrespected
00:55:34And she found a man that was willing to protect a widow
00:55:38A place where gleaning in the field
00:55:42Which was owned by another
00:55:43Was considered meritorious
00:55:46And she was commended for doing it
00:55:51And she collapses at the feet
00:55:53Of a man so powerful
00:55:56That he is known
00:55:56Far and wide
00:55:59His name is
00:56:01He is powerful
00:56:03And he is not only generous to her
00:56:06He is
00:56:08Concerned about her
00:56:09He is interested in her
00:56:10He is protective of her life
00:56:12While he is flirting with her
00:56:14While she is stealing the crop
00:56:16That he has cultivated right under his nose
00:56:19And he is happy about it
00:56:21It's overwhelming
00:56:24It is so different
00:56:26Than anything
00:56:28She thought possible
00:56:30The boldest and brightest woman of her days
00:56:33Falls on her face before him
00:56:36And refers to him as my Lord
00:56:38Only to have him tell her
00:56:41That the God
00:56:44She came to serve
00:56:45Yahweh
00:56:47Was going to complete her work
00:56:50Was going to work through her
00:56:52With her
00:56:54Fulfilling something extraordinary
00:56:56Through her
00:56:57And with him
00:57:00The Nakara
00:57:01With the Nakara
00:57:03Ah, no big deal
00:57:05Stuff like this happens everyday, right?
00:57:08Not even on the Hallmark Channel
00:57:11Ah, let's just move on
00:57:13Seen this movie before, right?
00:57:16Or not?
00:57:19Now she asked
00:57:21A question
00:57:22But she knew the answer
00:57:25She
00:57:25She just wanted to hear it
00:57:28Coming from his lips
00:57:31And she wanted to bathe in the
00:57:35Luxurious bath
00:57:37Of kindness and favor
00:57:40By
00:57:40By
00:57:41Stating
00:57:41Shalem
00:57:42In the
00:57:43Jusef mood
00:57:44Boaz was revealing
00:57:46Yahweh's intent
00:57:48God's will
00:57:49With regard to this woman
00:57:51And by using Shalem
00:57:53Boaz was affirming many things
00:57:55All of which were profound
00:57:57And prophetic
00:57:58It would be through
00:57:59Roots collaboration
00:58:00With Boaz
00:58:02That
00:58:03Yahweh would
00:58:04Shalem
00:58:05Fulfill the promise
00:58:07Of reconciliation
00:58:09He would
00:58:11Complete
00:58:12The Moedim
00:58:13To restore his people
00:58:16God is on record
00:58:18Committing
00:58:18To the rest
00:58:21Restitution
00:58:22Of the relationship
00:58:24With his people
00:58:25In the end
00:58:26And doing so
00:58:27In conjunction
00:58:29With this
00:58:30Woman
00:58:31Who had yet to conceive a child
00:58:35Who was now
00:58:37Abandoned
00:58:38And widowed
00:58:39And laying in the dust of a field
00:58:45Shalem
00:58:46Shalem like
00:58:47Kalah
00:58:48Speaks of finishing
00:58:50Of completing
00:58:51And fulfilling
00:58:54All of which are
00:58:55Exemplary
00:58:56But that's
00:58:57Just the beginning
00:58:59To Shalem is to make restitution
00:59:03By providing
00:59:05Recompense
00:59:05It is to restore a fractured relationship
00:59:09To Shalem is to
00:59:12Re-approve a prior agreement
00:59:14Through a fellowship offering
00:59:17With foes
00:59:18Becoming friends
00:59:21That which is Shalem
00:59:23Is complete
00:59:25It lacks nothing
00:59:26Fully accomplished
00:59:27With Shalem
00:59:29The beneficiaries are
00:59:31Accurate
00:59:33Friendly
00:59:33Closely associated
00:59:35And safe
00:59:37Shalem speaks of a commitment
00:59:40Between parties
00:59:42To end
00:59:42All previous hostilities
00:59:45And to live in peace
00:59:48Therefore
00:59:49The work Yahweh
00:59:50Would be completing
00:59:51With Ruth
00:59:53Would be the most
00:59:54Important
00:59:56And beneficial
00:59:57Ever undertaken
01:00:00Since the initial
01:00:02Instance of Shalem
01:00:03Was spoken in the
01:00:04Peel stem
01:00:05This means that Yahweh
01:00:07Was going to
01:00:08Use Ruth
01:00:09To achieve
01:00:10Reconciliation
01:00:14Restoring the covenant
01:00:16By working through her
01:00:19This
01:00:20Optimum state
01:00:22Would materialize
01:00:23As a direct result
01:00:25Of Ruth
01:00:26With
01:00:27Paul
01:00:28Of her engaging
01:00:29And working
01:00:31And
01:00:32She has already
01:00:33Been seen
01:00:34Engaging
01:00:35In a
01:00:36A
01:00:37Gleaning
01:00:37A final harvest
01:00:39She showed up
01:00:40Early in the morning
01:00:40Here she was
01:00:41Still in the late
01:00:42Afternoon
01:00:45All she did
01:00:46Was check out
01:00:47The house
01:00:47To measure it
01:00:49For drapes
01:00:51Further
01:00:52Paul
01:00:53Speaks of Ruth's
01:00:54Labor
01:00:55And the resulting
01:00:56Income and
01:00:57Compensation
01:00:58To
01:00:59Paul
01:00:59Is to
01:01:00Acquire
01:01:01And accumulate
01:01:02Something
01:01:03Valuable
01:01:04As a result of
01:01:05Having expended
01:01:06The effort
01:01:07And the energy
01:01:08To actually earn it
01:01:10To achieve it
01:01:10Therefore
01:01:13Earning
01:01:14And actually
01:01:15Deserving
01:01:16The reward
01:01:17Even though
01:01:18Yawa is quite
01:01:19Lavish
01:01:20In all
01:01:21Of these
01:01:22Things
01:01:22Wow
01:01:24So you've seen
01:01:25What I have just
01:01:25Brought to me
01:01:31Ruth makes a
01:01:33Mean drink
01:01:37That's delicious
01:01:37With another
01:01:39Plumeria flower
01:01:39Because Ruth knows
01:01:41That I like
01:01:41Plumeria flowers
01:01:42More than
01:01:44Any other
01:01:44I didn't know
01:01:46That flowers
01:01:47Flowers were on
01:01:48A bull's list
01:01:49Of things
01:01:49They liked
01:01:51Evidently
01:01:53Works for me
01:01:54I probably only
01:01:55Have about
01:01:56500 Plumeria
01:01:57Trees
01:01:57Here on our property
01:01:59But there were none
01:02:00When we moved in
01:02:01And we imported
01:02:04Plumeria
01:02:05As you buy
01:02:06Looks like
01:02:07A long cigar
01:02:08But it's a part
01:02:09Of a branch
01:02:10That comes with
01:02:11No leaves at all
01:02:12And no root
01:02:13But you put it in
01:02:14Water just for a bit
01:02:15Put it in the ground
01:02:16After it takes root
01:02:17And a tree emerges
01:02:20And some of these trees
01:02:20Now are
01:02:2120 feet tall
01:02:22That we have
01:02:24Planted here
01:02:25And 20 feet wide
01:02:26Or more
01:02:26And they're just covered
01:02:27With these flowers
01:02:28It's a
01:02:30It's absolutely gorgeous
01:02:31Anyway
01:02:34I'm distracted
01:02:36But obviously
01:02:38Boaz was not
01:02:39So that's a good thing
01:02:40Boaz doubled down
01:02:41On this point
01:02:42Telling Ruth
01:02:43That Yahweh intends
01:02:45On Mascorath
01:02:47He has a reward
01:02:49Ready for her
01:02:50For restoring
01:02:51His relationship
01:02:52With his people
01:02:53And I want to tell you
01:02:54You do this long enough
01:02:56And you say
01:02:56You know God
01:02:57Every day is fun
01:02:59This is the best job
01:03:00You could possibly have
01:03:01And somewhere along the way
01:03:02You say you know God
01:03:03There's a reason
01:03:04No one has ever succeeded
01:03:05At this job
01:03:06You know how hard
01:03:08This job really is
01:03:11And after a while
01:03:12You say you know
01:03:13It's okay
01:03:14You know
01:03:14When we're all done
01:03:16We're going to take
01:03:17A little vacation together
01:03:18That'll work out just fine
01:03:20Thank you very much
01:03:21You know
01:03:22You're not going to have
01:03:23Any guilt at the end
01:03:25Saying
01:03:25Yeah I probably earned that
01:03:26And that's exactly
01:03:28What he's saying here
01:03:30Now interesting in this regard
01:03:32Mascorath is
01:03:33A feminine expression
01:03:35Of the verb
01:03:37Sakar
01:03:37With the addition of
01:03:39The ma interrogatory
01:03:41Therefore
01:03:42Boaz
01:03:43Is encouraging us
01:03:45To consider
01:03:46Why Yawa
01:03:47Shakar
01:03:48Hired
01:03:49Employed
01:03:50And compensated
01:03:52A nakara
01:03:54An observant
01:03:55Foreign woman
01:03:56To resolve the fissures
01:03:58In his fractured family
01:04:02Now let's not lose sight
01:04:04Of our surroundings
01:04:05This is year 2685
01:04:08Yah
01:04:09I'm sure you knew that
01:04:11Right?
01:04:12Yes
01:04:13Yes
01:04:13Okay
01:04:14It's on the website
01:04:15And okay
01:04:16And that would be year
01:04:17What BCE?
01:04:201283
01:04:21Yeah I know
01:04:22That's next
01:04:24Number's on your tongue
01:04:25We are in
01:04:28Bethlehem
01:04:28Bethlehem
01:04:29Yep
01:04:29The breadbasket of
01:04:32Yehuda
01:04:33Yeah
01:04:33Right on the money
01:04:35Okay
01:04:36He was a
01:04:37Fairly towering man
01:04:39Of exemplary renown
01:04:40In this community
01:04:42And he's standing in a field
01:04:43Of barley
01:04:44With a stunning
01:04:46And sassy woman
01:04:47At his feet
01:04:49Israel is a collection of tribes
01:04:51And not yet a nation
01:04:52We're witnessing
01:04:54Dode's great-grandparents
01:04:57On their first date
01:04:59And this man is telling
01:05:02This widow
01:05:03From neighboring Moab
01:05:05That Yahweh
01:05:07Has chosen to complete
01:05:09Her work
01:05:10And then reward her for it
01:05:14It's just
01:05:15Too delicious
01:05:16To even seem real
01:05:18Doesn't it?
01:05:19Now the result
01:05:20Will be nothing less
01:05:21Than the restoration
01:05:22Of Israel
01:05:23As they become
01:05:24Yehudim again
01:05:25Because she's the Amma
01:05:27And she's delivering
01:05:27The kinsman redeemer
01:05:31And while a single
01:05:32Conveyance of Shalem
01:05:35Was earth shattering
01:05:36In this context
01:05:37It was repeated
01:05:39As a result of Yahweh
01:05:41Providing restoration
01:05:42With the completion
01:05:43Of Ruth's labors
01:05:45Mr. Bethlehem
01:05:47Affirmed
01:05:47That Ruth's work
01:05:49Would continue
01:05:50To be rewarding
01:05:51Even
01:05:53Over the long expression
01:05:55Of time
01:05:56And on account of Ruth
01:05:59Yahweh
01:06:01Would be able to deliver
01:06:03Reconciliation
01:06:04To his people
01:06:06The chosen people
01:06:07Will choose
01:06:09Like Ruth
01:06:11To be Yisrael again
01:06:15Individuals
01:06:15Who engage
01:06:16And endure
01:06:17With God
01:06:18After having
01:06:19Long been
01:06:20Those
01:06:21In conflict
01:06:22With the almighty
01:06:27At the conclusion
01:06:28Of this assessment
01:06:29Of the woman
01:06:31At his feet
01:06:33Boaz
01:06:34Tossed
01:06:34Another teaser
01:06:35Into the narrative
01:06:38Ruth
01:06:39Would crawl
01:06:40Under the hem
01:06:41Of his garment
01:06:43And they would be
01:06:44Joined forever
01:06:45But even more
01:06:48Than this
01:06:48Ruth
01:06:50Choosing to be
01:06:51So bold
01:06:52As to lay down
01:06:53At Boaz's feet
01:06:54And cover herself
01:06:56With the hem
01:06:57Of his garment
01:07:00Connects us
01:07:01To the stories
01:07:02And it resolves
01:07:04The conflicts
01:07:06Both with Noach
01:07:08And then with Lot
01:07:12She would find
01:07:13Her refuge
01:07:14A safe
01:07:15Comfortable
01:07:16And trusted place
01:07:18Under Yahweh's wing
01:07:20And Boaz's cloak
01:07:24Now as a result
01:07:26Of these pronouncements
01:07:27It was time
01:07:28For Ruth
01:07:29To respond
01:07:31And she's a talker
01:07:33This one
01:07:33She begins
01:07:35In a way
01:07:35In a way
01:07:35That would appear
01:07:37Contradictory
01:07:38To those
01:07:38Who are
01:07:40Yet unfamiliar
01:07:41With
01:07:42The idea
01:07:44Of willingly
01:07:44Surrendering
01:07:45One's will
01:07:46To another
01:07:48As an expression
01:07:49Of complete trust
01:07:51Knowing that
01:07:53With the right
01:07:54Person
01:07:55The investment
01:07:56Costs nothing
01:07:57And pays
01:07:59Lavish dividends
01:08:02She was just
01:08:03Lower intuitive
01:08:04Than most others
01:08:07She said
01:08:08I have attained
01:08:10And I will experience
01:08:13Kindness
01:08:14And favor
01:08:15In your eyes
01:08:18My lord
01:08:19For surely
01:08:21You have comforted
01:08:24And consoled me
01:08:26Indeed
01:08:27You have spoken
01:08:28From the heart
01:08:29From the heart
01:08:29And from the mind
01:08:31To your slave
01:08:36Your servant
01:08:39Even though
01:08:40I myself
01:08:41Will not be like
01:08:43One of your
01:08:45Slave girls
01:08:50How do you like them?
01:08:53Barley
01:08:53Colonel's there
01:08:55Ruth
01:08:56Feminine companion
01:08:582.13
01:08:59My guess is
01:09:01That's not what
01:09:02Any of us
01:09:03Expected
01:09:04To read
01:09:05And yet
01:09:06There it
01:09:07Is
01:09:08We're not
01:09:09Going to run from it
01:09:10We're going to deal with it
01:09:11She said
01:09:13Not
01:09:14Have I
01:09:15Not
01:09:16May I
01:09:17Not
01:09:17Will I
01:09:18She said
01:09:19I
01:09:21Have
01:09:22Attained and will
01:09:23Experience
01:09:24This is
01:09:25Call
01:09:26Which is
01:09:27Genuine
01:09:27Actual
01:09:29Literal
01:09:31In the imperfect
01:09:33Which means
01:09:34Ongoing
01:09:34Uninterrupted
01:09:35First person singular
01:09:38Matza
01:09:39I
01:09:40Have
01:09:41Attained
01:09:42And I
01:09:42Will
01:09:43Continually
01:09:44Experience
01:09:46Kindness
01:09:47And favor
01:09:48A charming
01:09:50Sense of
01:09:51Elegance
01:09:51Consideration
01:09:54And
01:09:54Compassion
01:09:57In
01:09:58Your
01:09:59Eyes
01:09:59My
01:10:02Lord
01:10:04Adonai
01:10:05Ani
01:10:05My
01:10:07Master
01:10:07The
01:10:09One
01:10:09Who
01:10:09Now
01:10:10Owns
01:10:11And
01:10:12Controls
01:10:13Me
01:10:13Sir
01:10:17For
01:10:18Surely
01:10:19You
01:10:20Have
01:10:20Comforted
01:10:22And
01:10:23Consoled
01:10:23Me
01:10:25Yeah
01:10:26I am
01:10:26Not going to claim
01:10:29That
01:10:30Everyone
01:10:32Should
01:10:33Even
01:10:34Ponder
01:10:35The
01:10:35Idea
01:10:36Of
01:10:38Engaging
01:10:39In or
01:10:39Beginning
01:10:42Initiating a
01:10:42Relationship like
01:10:43This
01:10:46The
01:10:47Likelihood
01:10:48Of
01:10:49Both
01:10:50Parties
01:10:50Assessing
01:10:51The
01:10:52The
01:10:53Genuineness
01:10:55The character
01:10:56Of the other
01:10:57Of course
01:10:58Is
01:10:59Makes it
01:11:00Unlikely
01:11:01That it
01:11:01Would
01:11:02Prevail
01:11:05She
01:11:06Had
01:11:07Known
01:11:07Hurt
01:11:09He
01:11:10Likely
01:11:11As
01:11:11Well
01:11:12And
01:11:13In
01:11:13Subsequent
01:11:14Lives
01:11:14They
01:11:15Would
01:11:15Both
01:11:16Know
01:11:17It
01:11:18And
01:11:19Sometimes
01:11:19It's
01:11:19Not
01:11:19Until
01:11:20You've
01:11:20Experienced
01:11:21Hurt
01:11:21Relationship
01:11:22That
01:11:24You're
01:11:25In
01:11:25A
01:11:25Position
01:11:25To
01:11:25Appreciate
01:11:26What a
01:11:27Relationship
01:11:27Genuinely
01:11:28Could
01:11:29Be
01:11:31That
01:11:31You've
01:11:31Encountered
01:11:32People
01:11:32Both
01:11:33Good
01:11:33And
01:11:33Bad
01:11:33And
01:11:37That
01:11:37By
01:11:38Contrast
01:11:38The
01:11:40Good
01:11:40Are
01:11:40Stupendous
01:11:43And
01:11:44So
01:11:44She
01:11:45Fell
01:11:45At
01:11:45The
01:11:45Feet
01:11:45Of
01:11:46The
01:11:46Feet
01:11:46Man
01:11:48Who
01:11:48Was
01:11:54Willing
01:11:55And
01:11:55Committed
01:11:56To
01:11:56Protect
01:11:57To
01:12:00Offer
01:12:00All
01:12:01That
01:12:01Was
01:12:01His
01:12:01To
01:12:01Her
01:12:04And
01:12:05She
01:12:05Not
01:12:05Only
01:12:06Fell
01:12:06At
01:12:07His
01:12:15And
01:12:16That
01:12:16She
01:12:17Was
01:12:17Also
01:12:17Extraordinary
01:12:18And
01:12:18Collectively
01:12:21He
01:12:22Acknowledged
01:12:22That
01:12:23God
01:12:23Was
01:12:23Going
01:12:23To
01:12:24And
01:12:27Yet
01:12:28She
01:12:30Called
01:12:31Him
01:12:33My
01:12:34Lord
01:12:35My
01:12:36Master
01:12:37Owns
01:12:39Me
01:12:39Sir
01:12:42And
01:12:43Then
01:12:43Acknowledged
01:12:44That
01:12:46She
01:12:46Made
01:12:46This
01:12:47Choice
01:12:47Because
01:12:47She
01:12:49Knew
01:12:51That
01:12:51The
01:12:51Fact
01:12:52That
01:12:52He
01:12:52Had
01:12:52Comforted
01:12:53And
01:12:53Consoled
01:12:54Her
01:12:54Expressed
01:12:55Sympathy
01:12:55And
01:12:55Encouraged
01:12:56And
01:12:56At
01:12:56This
01:12:57Moment
01:12:58Was
01:12:59Something
01:13:00That
01:13:00He
01:13:00Would
01:13:00Continue
01:13:01To
01:13:01Do
01:13:03And
01:13:03It
01:13:03Would
01:13:03Be
01:13:04Habitual
01:13:04And
01:13:04Uninterrupted
01:13:07She
01:13:07She
01:13:08That
01:13:08He
01:13:08Had
01:13:11Opened
01:13:11Up
01:13:11His
01:13:12Mind
01:13:13And
01:13:14So
01:13:18She
01:13:19Called
01:13:19Herself
01:13:20A
01:13:20Slave
01:13:22Now
01:13:24When I
01:13:24Say That
01:13:25I'm
01:13:25Sure
01:13:25That
01:13:26There
01:13:26Are
01:13:26People
01:13:26That
01:13:26Just
01:13:27Cringe
01:13:27And
01:13:28Say
01:13:28Why
01:13:28Would
01:13:29Ruth
01:13:29Refer
01:13:30To
01:13:30Herself
01:13:31As
01:13:32A
01:13:32Slave
01:13:34Largely
01:13:34Because
01:13:36Over
01:13:36The
01:13:37Last
01:13:38Hundred
01:13:38Or
01:13:38So
01:13:39Years
01:13:41The world
01:13:42Has viewed
01:13:43Savory very different
01:13:44Than it was
01:13:45Up to that point
01:13:48Indentured
01:13:49Servitude was
01:13:50Quite
01:13:50Common
01:13:52Israel
01:13:53Under the
01:13:53Torah
01:13:53Had a
01:13:54Provision
01:13:55For
01:13:55Liberating
01:13:56Slaves
01:14:00Beneficially
01:14:01Kindly
01:14:02Mandated
01:14:03By the
01:14:03Torah
01:14:06But
01:14:07The
01:14:09Hebrew
01:14:09Word
01:14:09That is
01:14:10Usually
01:14:10Used
01:14:11For
01:14:12Coworker
01:14:14Ebed
01:14:16Is
01:14:17Kissing
01:14:17Cousin
01:14:18To
01:14:18Servant
01:14:21Now
01:14:21In this
01:14:21Particular
01:14:22Case
01:14:23The word
01:14:24Is
01:14:25Ship
01:14:26And
01:14:28Ship
01:14:29If
01:14:29Ka
01:14:31Doesn't
01:14:32Mean
01:14:33I
01:14:33Want to
01:14:34Be
01:14:34Your
01:14:36Happy
01:14:37Little
01:14:37Housewife
01:14:40It
01:14:40Means
01:14:42Slave
01:14:44Servant
01:14:46She
01:14:47Wanted
01:14:47To serve
01:14:47Him
01:14:49And
01:14:49What she
01:14:50Realized
01:14:51Is the same
01:14:52Thing I came
01:14:52To realize
01:14:53Some time
01:14:53Ago
01:14:54If my life
01:14:55Is in
01:14:56Service
01:14:56To
01:14:56Yah
01:14:57And I am
01:14:59Essentially
01:15:01A servant
01:15:02To him
01:15:03I relinquish
01:15:04My will
01:15:05To him
01:15:05And say
01:15:06You know
01:15:06I'll do
01:15:07Whatever you
01:15:08Want
01:15:08And clearly
01:15:09You have articulated
01:15:10What you want me to do
01:15:11So that's what I'm going to do
01:15:14That's the best expression of free will I could possibly make
01:15:17She made the same one
01:15:23She was elevating her potential through submission
01:15:28She was putting herself in a position where she could express herself for exactly who she was
01:15:35And never have to worry about it
01:15:37Because he would always be there for her
01:15:43She wanted to be owned by him
01:15:46And he wanted to own her
01:15:49In the most positive possible way
01:15:54But
01:15:56She says
01:15:57I'll be your slave
01:16:00But
01:16:01I will not be like the other ones of your
01:16:06Slaves
01:16:07I see all those other women out here
01:16:10I'm not going to be like them
01:16:12Sir
01:16:15Cute as all
01:16:17Get out
01:16:18His head at that point had to be
01:16:21Spinning
01:16:25So
01:16:26If
01:16:27She were still questioning her status
01:16:31She certainly
01:16:32Wasn't letting on
01:16:34This was an emphatic statement
01:16:38She had attained
01:16:40Kindness
01:16:41She was favored
01:16:43He was charming
01:16:44She was elegant
01:16:46Ruth
01:16:47Recognized that
01:16:48Boaz was speaking from the heart
01:16:50Which means that
01:16:52He was sharing his thoughts
01:16:54As genuinely as he could convey them
01:16:56He was revealing his emotions
01:16:58And conveying his
01:17:01Mental intent
01:17:04In such circumstances
01:17:06One might expect him to
01:17:08Offer her his hand
01:17:10That she would rise
01:17:13And that they would hug
01:17:15Perhaps in a hallmark moment
01:17:18Kiss
01:17:20And that she would refer to
01:17:22Her prince charming
01:17:24As sweetheart
01:17:28But she called him
01:17:30My lord
01:17:32My master
01:17:34And the one
01:17:35Who now owns me
01:17:40Because of what she says next
01:17:42We can't just
01:17:44Overlook it
01:17:45We can't skim past it
01:17:48Nor should we
01:17:50We need to understand
01:17:52The complexity of this relationship
01:17:56The most cerebral and confident woman
01:17:58In God's story
01:17:59In the entirety of God's story
01:18:01Over 6,000 years
01:18:04Surrendered to a man
01:18:06Bowing before
01:18:07The strongest individual
01:18:08She had ever known
01:18:10And she was relishing the experience
01:18:14She addressed him as
01:18:16Adonai
01:18:17My lord
01:18:19My using it
01:18:21She could be acknowledging
01:18:23His status as the lord of his domain
01:18:26She might have been respectable
01:18:30Just
01:18:31Calling him the equivalent of sir
01:18:34She may be saying that
01:18:36She was his
01:18:38That he was now her master
01:18:42For all of the kindness that he had
01:18:45And would continue to offer her
01:18:47And all they would achieve together
01:18:50They were a package deal
01:18:52Here's my certificate of ownership
01:18:56I'm yours
01:18:58Or
01:19:00If
01:19:01Adonai
01:19:03Same word, different vocalization
01:19:06Is what she had said
01:19:08Then she saw him
01:19:10As the upright pillar and the foundation
01:19:13Of what would soon be
01:19:15Her home
01:19:17Their home
01:19:18Indeed, it would prove to be
01:19:21All of these things
01:19:22And ultimately she realized
01:19:24That by surrendering
01:19:25To an upright righteous man
01:19:27She lost nothing
01:19:30And she gained everything
01:19:34She had wedged herself into his heart
01:19:37They would beat as one
01:19:43Well, there
01:19:44Is no verbal root
01:19:46Presented in the Torah
01:19:48To elucidate
01:19:49What she meant by shivka
01:19:53There are some clues
01:19:56When prefixed by the
01:19:58My interrogatory
01:20:00To encourage
01:20:02Contemplation
01:20:03Mish
01:20:05Kifah
01:20:07Is a family
01:20:09Tribe or clan
01:20:11Also interesting
01:20:12The related
01:20:13Mishfat
01:20:14Means to ponder the implications
01:20:17Of exercising good judgment
01:20:22Therefore we may conclude
01:20:24That Ruth was thoughtfully surrendering herself
01:20:26To Boaz
01:20:27She was not volunteering
01:20:29To serve a man with whom
01:20:31She would
01:20:34Be abused
01:20:35But instead
01:20:36A man with whom
01:20:39Collaboratively
01:20:41They would change the world
01:20:45Yoke together
01:20:48They would be God's most impactful implements
01:20:53Through their collaboration
01:20:55Through their collaboration
01:20:56Yahweh would transform souls
01:20:58He would fulfill his plans
01:21:01To reconcile the covenant with Yisrael
01:21:04He would restore
01:21:05His son
01:21:07Not only as the man that he had envisioned
01:21:12But also within his people
01:21:16Now who among us
01:21:19Wouldn't volunteer
01:21:20To serve in that capacity
01:21:25She did
01:21:27I have
01:21:29You should
01:21:32Now that said
01:21:33In plain speaking
01:21:34There is no justification
01:21:36For rendering
01:21:37Shifkah
01:21:39Atta
01:21:39As
01:21:43With
01:21:45It's relationship with Adonai
01:21:47Particularly following Adonai
01:21:50As anything other than
01:21:52She was committing to be his handmaid
01:21:54His indentured servant
01:21:56She was committing to be a slave girl
01:21:59And or
01:22:01Mistress with
01:22:02Him holding all rights over her
01:22:06Ruth knew that
01:22:09Adon meant Lord
01:22:11It means master
01:22:12And she knew that
01:22:15Shifkah meant slave girl
01:22:17Now that's stunning
01:22:19When juxtaposed against what
01:22:21He had just said about her
01:22:23That the very creator God of the universe
01:22:25Was going to fulfill
01:22:26The prospect of reconciling his people
01:22:29By working through her
01:22:35He tried to lift her up to the highest heavens
01:22:37To a loftier place than
01:22:40A woman had ever flown
01:22:43And she responded by saying that
01:22:46She had a fear of heights
01:22:49Didn't put much faith in airplanes either
01:22:53She would trust him
01:22:55To pilot their lives
01:23:00Albeit there was a catch
01:23:03Typically
01:23:04Yes, right?
01:23:06As his mind no doubt raced to romance
01:23:10She put him on notice
01:23:12That she wouldn't be like
01:23:14Any of the other women
01:23:16He had ever known
01:23:18That should have been pretty obvious at this point
01:23:20It was almost as if she was saying that
01:23:23She would be his slave
01:23:25To do whatever she wants
01:23:30She was not only defining the terms of her engagement
01:23:35She was accepting his proposal in a way that was
01:23:40Well, pure Ruth
01:23:43She either had game and was playing him
01:23:46Or she had none
01:23:48And was so awkward socially
01:23:50That she was surrendering
01:23:52To a champion of pros
01:23:57Either way
01:23:58What seems complicated
01:24:02Worked marvelously for them
01:24:04And not at just this moment
01:24:08Forevermore
01:24:10So attempting to figure her out
01:24:13And lead the conversation to the result
01:24:17He thought was the best
01:24:19Boaz responded
01:24:21And we'll conclude with this comment
01:24:23Then Boaz
01:24:26Forceful and fortified
01:24:29Said to her
01:24:32Concerning that point
01:24:35It's time you come here
01:24:39Whether by choice
01:24:41Or command
01:24:43Approaching and presenting yourself
01:24:46In immediate proximity
01:24:49To me
01:24:51Henceforth
01:24:52By your will
01:24:54And by mine
01:24:56You should move yourself
01:24:58To a position
01:24:59Right next to me
01:25:01Come hither, dear
01:25:03Call imperative
01:25:06Expresses either volition
01:25:08In second person
01:25:09Or a command
01:25:14And you will
01:25:16Consume
01:25:17That which is
01:25:19Valuable in nurturing
01:25:22Well I'm gonna let you linger on that
01:25:23Because that is just a delicious
01:25:26Statement and we'll return to it
01:25:28As we continue with this
01:25:29Absolutely amazing
01:25:31Tale of love
01:25:34Even as we're on their first date
01:25:36With Ruth and Boaz
01:25:39Love
01:25:40Yes I did
01:25:43You have a wonderful evening
01:25:45We'll talk again tomorrow
01:25:47Hey there, thanks for tuning in

Bo'az and Ruwth reveal the extraordinary meaning behind the Nakar and Nakara, exposing Yahowah's living Covenant model through voluntary trust, protection, vulnerability, restoration, and reconciliation. Their relationship is far more than a love story~it provides the prophetic blueprint for Yahowah's family, the fulfillment of the Towrah, and His plan to restore those who choose to walk with Him.
