Heartbreaking Rescue Efforts Amid Wildfires in Marmaris, Turkey

Disturbing visuals from Marmaris, Turkey depict a group of individuals working diligently to save as many animals as possible from the encroaching wildfires. Behiye Nihal Kasa, the videographer, reported that nearly 100 animals, including geese, roosters, sheep, goats, cats, and dogs, were successfully rescued from Marmaris Waterfall. 'This was challenging but essential, especially with the flames drawing near and the skies darkening,' Kasa noted. At one point, the geese, oblivious to the imminent peril, attempted to flee. This remarkable animal rescue occurred on August 3, 2021.
