ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ಸಂಸದ ಅನುರಾಗ್ ಠಾಕೂರ್ ಅವರು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಾಯಕ ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ತೀವ್ರ ವಾಗ್ದಾಳಿ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ರಾಹುಲ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಅವರು ದೇಶದ ಜನರಿಗೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವರಿಗೂ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯಾಚಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ಅವರು, ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಹರಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಆರೋಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳ (ಅಕ್ರಮ ತಡೆ) ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಮಸೂದೆ ಅಂಗೀಕಾರಗೊಂಡಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದ ಅನುರಾಗ್ ಠಾಕೂರ್, ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಸೋರಿಕೆ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗುವವರಿಗೆ 10 ವರ್ಷಗಳವರೆಗೆ ಜೈಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ಹಾಗೂ ₹10 ಕೋಟಿ ವರೆಗೆ ದಂಡ ವಿಧಿಸುವ ಕಠಿಣ ಕಾನೂನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬರಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಮೋದಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಈ ಕ್ರಮ ದೇಶದ ಯುವಕರ ಹಿತಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
