00:19wool qualities lower microns, we want to keep or increase our body weights, our yielding dressing
00:26weights and we want quicker turnover in our young sheep for carcass traits so they're able to go on
00:34feed or off feed sooner and go to go to the market sooner. With sustainable merinos now there's a lot
00:39of push for better animal health so we can turn around that's so quick you can shear twice a year
00:45if need be you can lamb up to all better three times in two years they're quick turnaround quick
00:52growing just really diverse animal. I definitely love how much you can do with the animal I sort
00:59of in other industries are sort of restricted to a certain few traits whereas the marinas in my opinion
01:04are endless we've got wool we've got meat we've got reproduction we've got animal health like the list
01:10just goes on. I'm really working on our parasite resistance our internal external parasite resistance
01:16so these sheep don't get any external fly treatments we want ewes having greater lamb survival better
01:24lambing abilities and just overall maternal traits
