00:31To understand this region's heritage, there's only one place to start,
00:36Troy, one of the world's most famous archaeological sites and the setting of Homer's Iliad.
00:42One of the oldest cities ever excavated,
00:45this UNESCO World Heritage Site is best known as the setting of the legendary Trojan War.
00:51But Troy is much more than this.
00:53Ten successive cities were built here, one on top of another,
00:58over four thousand years of history in a single place.
01:01Because Asia and Europe are in the middle of another,
01:04we can express this point as the East and the West culture.
01:09Troy is one of the mythological and historical research in terms of the world's most famous research.

03:00I'm heading to Bosgiada to discover another side of Chanakale's heritage.
03:05This time it's preserved in an island tradition that has lasted for centuries.
03:10The ferry ride takes less than an hour and Bosgiada makes an immediate impression.
03:15Its colorful streets and old stone houses feel a world away from the mainland.
03:20But there's more to this island than its postcar looks.
03:23Bosgiada is internationally known for its winemaking.
03:27With sea breezes and the mild Mediterranean climate,
03:29the island is made for growing grapes.
03:32Bosgiada is also part of the Troy historical vineyard route,
03:35a trail connecting winemakers across this ancient wine region.
