Karwan Bazar is one of the busiest hubs in Dhaka, but right through its heart lies a perilous section of railway. Because of the blind curve along this track, seeing or hearing an approaching train in time is extremely difficult.

Despite frequent train movements, pedestrians continuously walk along the tracks, and passengers are often seen taking life-threatening risks by riding on train roofs. A single second of distraction here can lead to a tragic accident.

At RRBD, we believe public safety starts with awareness. Tracks are meant strictly for trains, not for walking, crossing, or rooftop travel.

⚠️ Key Safety Messages:
β€’ Never walk or hang out on active railway lines.
β€’ Avoid rooftop travelβ€”it is extremely hazardous and illegal.
β€’ Be extra cautious near blind curves where visibility is low.
