00:32Police raced to a home in Collinsville, Oklahoma on July 23rd
00:36after receiving a grisly nighttime phone call
00:39where 911 dispatchers said they heard a woman, quote,
00:42screaming and crying before hearing a, quote, loud bang.

00:51When Owosso law enforcement arrived at the home, they discovered a sickening scene.
00:56A husband and wife were dead, both with apparent gunshot wounds to the head.
01:00The Owosso Police Department later confirmed to People magazine that the duo,
01:0548-year-old Sean Duffy and 43-year-old Sarah Gilson,
01:08were killed in an apparent murder-suicide
01:11after Duffy gunned down Gilson before turning the weapon on himself.
01:15Gilson, a lifestyle and beauty influencer who boasts nearly 80,000 followers on TikTok,
01:21was known for her bikini try-on hauls and shopping hacks.
01:24She even posted videos with her hubby, like Duffy modeling a handful of outfits,
01:30showing off a mini camcorder,
01:32I'm recording myself recording you.
01:34That is epic.
01:36and reviewing a traveling duffel bag.
01:38You had a basketball tournament this weekend,
01:40and you got to take your new bag.
01:42And I love it.
01:43One video on Instagram from January 2025 even shows Duffy snuggling with the couple's pooch in bed.
01:50She loves her daddy.
01:52But despite a seemingly happy-go-lucky marriage on social media,
01:56it appears the couple's union was deeply on the rocks,
01:59especially after Gilson posted a very different kind of video about her husband in July.
02:04In one of the last videos she uploaded on TikTok,
02:07Gilson posted a Netflix documentary video,
02:10a trend where users pretend they are sitting down and filming a Netflix documentary about their lives,
02:15to speak about how her soon-to-be ex-husband was a pedophile.
02:19In the 15-second clip, which has garnered more than 23 million views,
02:23Gilson can be seen sitting on a chair with a somber look,
02:26with text on screen that reads,
02:29preparing for when Netflix drops a documentary about my soon-to-be ex-husband,
02:33who I just found out is a pedophile.
02:35In the text captioned below, she wrote,
02:37I wish I was joking.
02:39According to the Oklahoman newspaper,
02:42a woman filed a protective order against Duffy in June,
02:45alleging that he assaulted her daughter,
02:47a 15-year-old girl who was a member of the youth basketball team he coached.
02:51According to court documents obtained by the paper,
02:54another team's coach personally witnessed Duffy kissing and fondling the girl,
02:58and immediately reported it.
02:59And according to investigators,
03:01it wasn't the only time Duffy was reportedly inappropriate with the player,
03:04which took place over an extended period of time,
03:06and across multiple states and law enforcement jurisdictions.
03:10Duffy allegedly sent the minor inappropriate messages,
03:13kissed her and touched her inappropriately,
03:15and invited her to his hotel room during a tournament,
03:18offering money to, quote,
03:20keep her quiet.
03:21Since getting caught by the coach,
03:22Duffy, a member of the Osage Indian tribe of Oklahoma,
03:26had been on the run and evading police.
03:28Gilsen also filed her own protective order against her husband
03:31after the incident came to light,
03:33which forced him out of the home,
03:35and required that he stay 100 yards away.
03:37Gilsen alleged in her application that Duffy had threatened suicide.
03:41Gilsen's first husband, Lyle Landers,
03:44told People Magazine that he was always alarmed about his ex's relationship with Duffy,
03:48and, quote,
03:49begged her for years to end the relationship.
03:51I had offered to help her, in any way I could,
03:54to get away from him.
03:55But he seemed to have some sort of control over her,
03:57and she couldn't seem to get away,
03:59he told the outlet.
