Convenient activation via the seat heating button encourages passengers to remove heavy jackets to ensure the belt is properly adjusted and safer. The S-Class also takes a significant step forward in climate comfort with the new Digital Vent Control and a new electric cabin air filter. Elegantly illuminated optional air vents automatically adjust to the selected ventilation setting. The new electric filter ionizes the air and removes even extremely fine particles – up to 1,200 times smaller than a single grain of salt. This cleans the interior air approximately every 90 seconds, creating a cleaner environment for all occupants.
