Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim attended the opening ceremony and parade of Citrawarna 2026 at Dataran Merdeka on Saturday (July 25), a flagship Tourism Malaysia event held as part of the Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) campaign.

Supported by Kuala Lumpur City Hall, Warisan Kuala Lumpur, the National Department for Culture and Arts, Istana Budaya and the National Textile Museum, Citrawarna 2026 aims to promote Malaysia's arts, culture and heritage tourism to domestic and international visitors.

01:15Tourism Malaysia said the event attracted more than 700 international tourists

01:23Running until July 26th, the three-day event also offers visitors heritage demonstrations,
01:30traditional games and hands-on cultural experiences.
