00:00Being a seventh rounder and starting a foundation, I think that alone is unique in and of itself.
00:05But just the decision to stay in Cincinnati, train here,
00:09during the offseason program toward the tail end of minicamp, you mentioned that to me.
00:12And I was like, oh, unique.
00:14You could have went home.
00:15You could have went and saw a familiar face.
00:16You didn't do that.
00:17Why?
00:18Yeah, you know, throughout my entire college career, I thought it was always important to get away from home.
00:24You spend a little bit of time at home, but I think it's always important to stay to the grind,
00:28stay working.
00:29You know what I mean?
00:29And, you know, when you get away from home and you really put yourself in, you know, not a super
00:34comfortable situation, right?
00:35You put yourself, you know that you have to work and, you know, you have to get better.
00:38So being around in Cincinnati, you know, this is where, you know, I want to be for a very long
00:42time.
00:42So I was like, let me get familiar with an uncomfortable place and, you know, a place that I'm not,
00:46you know, familiar with yet.
00:47So it's been a blessing just staying around.
00:49And, you know, and obviously I wanted to be around the coaching staff.
00:52I want to be around, you know, the GM and everyone and just get to know people, right?
00:56Just form those relationships at length.
00:58So it's been awesome just being able to be here and just talk with people.
