00:00Would you say you have achieved everything kasi you have the awards na FAMAS, Korean, and usually yung mga hinahangad
00:09ng mga aktres na tulad mo?
00:11Would I say na, can I say na I have achieved?
00:14Feeling ko hindi pa kasi hindi pa ako nagiging serial killers.
00:27Hi Pepsters, very special ang episode ng Pep Spotlight natin today dahil andito tayo backstage, kakausapin natin ang isa sa
00:36mga A-listers, A-list actress in the Philippines.
00:40Please welcome Miss Nadine Luster.
00:43Hi! Hi everyone.
00:44Oh my gosh, Miss Nadine kinakaban ako.
00:46This is your comeback.
00:48Nag-hype yung ano yung kaba ko dahil...
00:50Grabe naman.
00:52It's been like 12 years since we had a sit down.
00:54Sabi mo nga 2014.
00:56Kaya na, 2014.
00:58Biruin nyo guys, nasang kaba ko na din ulit.
01:00Oh my gosh.
01:01Okay, start na tayo Miss Nadine.
01:03Sige.
01:03And today, we're talking about Love Shargao muna kasi your latest project.
01:09Yes.
01:09What drew you to the project of Love Shargao?
01:12Well, initially kasi, a lot of, well, a lot of people are, ano, parang are assuming na the reason why
01:19I said yes to the project was because it will be shot in Shargao.
01:22So, but initially, when Viu initially proposed the project to me, or nung nag-pitch sila ng project, ang unang
01:30agad nilang sinabi was, I have a, we have a project for you and Alden.
01:34So, yun talaga yung nagpa-oo sa akin.
01:36Kasi I really, really wanted to work with Alden kahit dati pa.
01:39Tapos, kumbaga parang, setting it in Shargao is a bonus lang.
01:44Parang the stars aligned na talaga.
01:46Oo, and si Alden kasi before, nakawork ko na siya multiple times, but it's not, not to this extent.
01:52So, saglit lang for a brand, ganun.
01:56So, super saglit lang.
01:57Never pa kami nagkawork ng ganito before.
01:59Ah, so Brad Gills talaga yung process.
02:01Before, yeah, yung, yung times na nagkawork kami.
02:04So, kamusta yung different, yung impression mo with Alden before and now na nakatrawak?
02:09Amin, alam ko naman na sobrang bait niya.
02:11Pero hindi ko alam na ganun pala siya kabait.
02:13Yung parang may tayo, sasabihin ko sa kanya,
02:15Uy, masyado ka namang mabait.
02:16Hindi, pero that's not a bad thing.
02:18That's actually one of the best qualities that he has.
02:20And he's also very respectful of everyone, which I really love.
02:25He is able to interact with the production team, with the people on set.
02:32Tsaka sobrang gaang niya katrabaho.
02:33So, that's also one of the things that I really loved about doing Love, Siargao,
02:39which really did the whole cast.
02:41So, wala nang, hindi na need mag-warp up?
02:44Hindi na.
02:45Parang, ano nga eh, parang nung nagkita kami ni Alden.
02:48Kasi before we flew to Siargao,
02:54nagkaroon pa ng ano dito, nagkaroon pa ng press con.
02:56And we were talking a lot about like different things, different topics, ganyan.
03:02Tapos, alam ko na na, it wasn't going to be difficult.
03:05Parang, may adjustment pa, gano'n.
03:07I knew na, it wasn't going to be difficult.
03:09Kasi kahit naman siya, you know, he's very, madali siyang pakisamahan.
03:14Hindi siya mahirap kausapin.
03:16He's very approachable.
03:18Yes, amay talaga ni Alden.
03:19Oo.
03:19Ay, Alden.
03:20Let's take shot ako.
03:22So, with Cara naman, what do you love about her character?
03:26What I love about Cara is that she's not perfect.
03:29Um, marami siyang pinagdaanan before that, uh, that brought her to this journey of hers.
03:38Um, parang ano kasi siya, hindi pa siya, sa story kasi ng Love Shergao, she's healing from something.
03:46Although it may be, it may be a long time na, to all of the people, the viewers of Love
03:50Shergao.
03:50Alam niyo na kung gano'n katagal na si Cara sa isla.
03:53So, she's, she's still, ano, parang nandun pala siya sa journey of healing niya.
03:57Um, yun nga, hindi siya perfect, she's figuring out herself, she loves the environment, she really, uh, she's an environmentalist.
04:08You know, she works hard to protect the mangroves.
04:11So, parang in a way you were able to personally relate to her character?
04:14Yeah, in, in a lot of ways.
04:16Um, especially, the part na matagal na siya sa isla.
04:22So, she's picked up a lot of the culture of the island already, the way she talks to people, yung,
04:28uh, yung ugali niya, or like how she, yung, basta yung characteristics niya in general, like, um,
04:34um, kasi makikita niya yun, ayoko magsalita masyado kasi I might spoil it, pero makikita naman nila yun doon.
04:39If you could give Cara an advice, ano yung advice na may bibigay mo sa kanya?
04:45Take your time.
04:46Take your time with your healing.
04:48I know it's been a while.
04:49I know it's been a long time.
04:51But, healing is not an overnight thing.
04:55Ang gano'n, gano'n.
04:56Gano'n, quotable yun.
04:57Ang tagal niya na kasing nag-heal.
04:59Tapos, I know na, well, obviously alam ko, kasi ako si Cara.
05:02Alam ko kasi na hindi pa siya fully healed.
05:04So, okay lang yan.
05:07Pagdaanan mo lang yan, essentially.
05:09But what would you say to those na parang sinasabing,
05:21Things happen at the right time.
05:23And I believe that, wow, I believe talaga.
05:28And I believe kasi, oh.
05:30Hindi, naniniwala kasi ako na lahat ng mga bagay na nangyayari sa atin
05:33when it comes to, you know, the things that we have to go through,
05:36yung mga challenges natin sa buhay.
05:38Or even yan, yung mga ganyan, moving on, healing, recovering from something.
05:44Naniniwala kasi ako na binibigay yan sa atin ng universe, yung timing na yan.
05:48You know, for some people, it could happen fast.
05:50Like recovery or healing could happen fast.
05:53And for some people, it takes a while.
05:55So I would say it really, ano, it's really a test of time.
05:59And it's up to the universe to let us know kailan ibibigay sa atin yun.
06:03Or if we, ano, if natutunan na natin yung lesson na dapat makuha natin from that experience.
06:08Yes, yun yung mas importante.
06:09Dapatin mapagkap tayong lesson.
06:11So let's talk about Nadine naman as hashtag actress.
06:16Yes.
06:16So at this point in your life, parang would you say you have achieved everything?
06:22Kasi you have the awards na, FAMAS, Korean.
06:26And usually yung mga hinahangad ng mga actress na tulad mo.
06:31Would I say na, can I say na I have achieved?
06:34Feeling ko hindi pa.
06:36Kasi hindi pa ako nagiging serial killers.
06:38No, I would say not yet.
06:42Definitely, I have achieved.
06:44I mean, I'm proud of my achievements.
06:47But if you ask me kung okay na ako, hindi pa.
06:50I feel like there's still a lot of roles that I would love to play.
06:55I still have a lot of experiences that I want to experience and people that I want to work with.
07:01So marami pa.
07:02In fairness, doon sa serial killer, bakit yun ang napili?
07:04Hindi ko alam kasi mahilig ako sa crime documentaries, mahilig ako sa mga thriller movies, gano'n.
07:12And I think kasi not necessarily naman has to be a serial killer.
07:16Pwede naman siyang like an unhinged character.
07:19Parang gano'n.
07:20Kasi I want to experience a dark character na medyo, kasi challenging yung mga ganong klasa ng roles.
07:28Iba-iba yung personality.
07:29Yeah, like for example, like si Joaquin Phoenix, he's the Joker, di ba?
07:33And you see naman how Joker's character is like, especially doon sa movie na ginanapan niya.
07:40So yung mga ganong klase ng, I would say preparation and ganong level of acting and I guess skill when
07:49it comes to acting.
07:50So that's something that I want to experience.
07:53May iba ka bang factors na kinakonsider when accepting roles for a TV project versus a movie?
08:00Well, for a TV project, definitely the length of the project is very important to me.
08:06Kasi, I mean, I have experienced, you know, full-length teleseries na rin before.
08:11Don't get me wrong, I'm really grateful for the projects that I've had before.
08:15But I think, especially with my age now, mahirap na para sa akin mag-commit to a project that runs
08:23for that long.
08:24Parang feeling ko, ang dami kong gustong gawing ibang bagay na hindi ko kayang mag-commit pag ganong katagal yung
08:32project.
08:33Yung matatali ka in a, maybe?
08:35Months.
08:35Hindi lang months, ngayon parang years, years na yung pa-under.
08:37Oo, so, yun lang na-experience ko kasi before parang, I think, mga six months yata or something.
08:43And, ano din, I think, hindi ko din kaya yung pressure of rushing.
08:51Yung may pressure sa buong production to finish the scene, the episode, yung mga ganon.
09:01Hindi ko kaya yung nagmamandali ng ganon.
09:03So, parang sya yung mga hand-to-mouth na experience ko kasi yun before.
09:06So, sobrang, oo, sobrang hirap nun.
09:10So, yun lang, parang as much as possible ngayon, I would like to work on a project that merong opportunity
09:20na mag-to take time, to be more relaxed.
09:23So, if ever a series na parang may series breaks, okay yun sa'yo?
09:27Yeah, mga, anong tawag dito, mga limited series, which are the ones that I have been doing naman din.
09:33What makes a role impactful for you?
09:36What makes a role impactful for me?
09:39I would say the history of the character.
09:42The things that that character went through before the scenes in the script or in the project.
09:50Yung ganon.
09:51Kasi, very important sa akin na may lalim yung characters na gagampanan ko.
09:55Tsaka, when I pick a project kasi, it's not, I don't box myself into a certain genre.
10:03Parang a lot of people are surprised na parang nag-romance, rom-com, nag-comedy ulit ako.
10:11Parang, hindi naman, hindi ko naman binox yung sarili ko sa thrillers, sa horrors.
10:16I still like doing different roles.
10:17I still like doing different types of projects.
10:20It's just that for me kasi, I really look at the script.
10:24I really look at the story of a project.
10:27Or, nagkataon lang din na nagsunod-sunod siya.
10:29Nagkataon lang na nagsunod-sunod siya.
10:31Nagsimula siya sa, I would say, Greed, which was a thriller.
10:35And then, ayun na, after nun, Deleter.
10:37Tapos, I got to work with Direct Mic ulit for another project, which was Nocturno.
10:41So, parang nagkataon lang din naman siya.
10:44But, it wasn't ano naman.
10:46It wasn't...
10:46Nagkataon ka for a time.
11:03But, alin dun yung pinaka-favorite mo?
11:04Or, favorite character?
11:06Yeah, syempre yung uninvited.
11:08Gusto ko yung character mo dun.
11:09Ayun pa, sa uninvited pa pala.
11:11Um, lahat kasi nung characters ko, medyo unhinged sila eh.
11:18Pero, yung greed yung pinaka...
11:20Greed yung pinaka-challenging, I would say.
11:25Um, and...
11:26And ako naman, I love a good challenge.
11:28Pero, yun yung pinaka-challenging kasi naka-lock-in kami nun sa...
11:32Rizal.
11:34Tapos, ano pa yun, medyo pandemic pa nung time na yun.
11:37Parang, ano pa lang eh, palabas pa lang tayo from the pandemic.
11:42Or, kakalabas pa lang ng mga tao nung time na yun.
11:46Tsaka may COVID scare pa.
11:47Kaya nag-lock-in kami nun kahit Rizal lang yung location.
11:50Kasi nga, everyone was so scared of getting sick pa rin.
11:54Um, I would say...
11:56I would say yung greed.
11:58Yung pinaka-challeng.
11:58It was really fun to shoot, oo.
12:00And it was really nice working with Direk Yam.
12:03Ano din, medyo...
12:06Maganda rin yung cinematography nun.
12:08Kasi, para siyang ano eh, bundukin siya eh.
12:11Bunduk yung ano namin, yung set namin.
12:14Yes, Forest Forest.
12:16Oo, tapos mga kubo, ganun.
12:18Tapos, very bloody din siya.
12:20Yun nga, very bloody siya guys.
12:22Tapos, di ba, nagpatayan because of a lottery ticket.
12:25So, sabrang unhinged nung project.
12:27That's why I really like it.
12:29Eh, di ba, ang pandemic.
12:30Nagihirap tayong lahat nun.
12:33Kapunta tayo dun lahat.
12:34Sarat.
12:35Anyway, so, eto naman yung miss Nadine.
12:38Nadine as hashtag partner.
12:40So, through the years,
12:42how would you say you've grown as a partner?
12:46As a partner in...
12:48In, maybe in general.
12:49In love life na rin.
12:50Ah, okay.
12:51Hmm, I would say I'm more relaxed right now.
12:57Just because, you know, I kind of learned na
13:03being in a relationship doesn't have to...
13:06Parang, you have to put effort.
13:08Yes.
13:08But it doesn't have to be the kind of effort
13:11that you really have to go out of your way.
13:13Na parang, it's a two-way street.
13:16You know, love is a two-way street.
13:17And, um, I would say that's, that's what I realized, you know, just growing older.
13:23And, uh, I'm happy now.
13:25Kasi at least, you know, these things, parang okay na.
13:32Yeah.
13:33Parang settled na ako sa mga...
13:35Oh, na sa safe space na ako.
13:37And I'm more relaxed.
13:39How would you say, alam mo, one of my favorite things about you and Chris
13:42is how you parang complement each other?
13:46Parang pasok na pasok talaga yung personalities with each other.
13:49Thank you, thank you.
13:49How did you guys find that balance?
13:52Honestly, medyo mahirap.
13:55Because he's a Virgo.
13:56I'm a Scorpio.
13:57So medyo ano kami.
13:58Medyo parang nagpapa...
14:00Di naman nagpapataasan.
14:01But, normally kasi, yung ganong klase ng...
14:05Ganong klase ng combination, ng personalities.
14:09We're both very, uh...
14:11We're both very outspoken.
14:15Uh, we stick to our own opinions.
14:18Ganon.
14:18So, there are a lot of things pa rin naman na we don't see eye-to-eye with.
14:24Pero most of the time naman, like, we both agree on a lot of the things.
14:29Meron lang ibang, I guess, culture differences na din, you know?
14:33Kasi he's more, um...
14:35He grew up kasi mas French than Filipino.
14:38They're very straightforward.
14:39They're very...
14:39He's very straightforward.
14:41A lot of people don't understand this about him.
14:43He's also very sarcastic.
14:45Pero yung sarcasm niya naman kasi,
14:47It's more on, like, the fun side of sarcasm.
14:51So, minsan,
14:53May mga friends ako na bagong kilala pa lang sa kanya,
14:56Na would think na, ano siya, medyo...
14:58Hindi naman rude.
14:59Pero parang they would say na,
15:01Hindi ko gets bakit siya ganon.
15:03And then, after knowing...
15:04After knowing him for a while,
15:07Sabi nila,
15:07Ah, oo, gets ko na siya.
15:09Dati akala ko he's just being rude.
15:10Pero yun lang pala talaga yung mentality niya.
15:12The thing is, kasi,
15:13Very different yung culture
15:14When it comes to, you know,
15:16Like, the French.
15:17Parang very, ano sila,
15:19Very straightforward,
15:21Outspoken,
15:22Tsaka,
15:23Their jokes are different
15:24From the Filipinos.
15:26The Filipinos.
15:26Very can all kasi yung jokes.
15:27Oo.
15:28Oo.
15:29Pero, yeah,
15:30Eventually naman,
15:31Parang nagigets naman na siya ng mga tao.
15:33And they,
15:33They understand,
15:36You know,
15:37Parang yung magic niya na,
15:39Why he is good at,
15:41Being an activist for,
15:43The things that he really fights for.
15:45It's,
15:46It's the French side.
15:48Pero ikaw,
15:49Na culture shock ka dito sa kanya.
15:50Yeah,
15:51Nung umpisa.
15:52Kasi mayroong times na parang,
15:54Hindi ko alam kung nagjoke ba siya.
15:56Yung mga,
15:56Yung mga sarcastic,
15:57Ano nga niya,
15:58Mga,
15:58Mga,
15:59Anong tawag,
15:59Responses niya.
16:01Hindi ko gets kung,
16:02If it was a joke,
16:03Or if it was real.
16:04Sometimes,
16:05Like parang,
16:05I would ask him about something,
16:08And parang,
16:10Ang sag,
16:10Ganon siya eh,
16:11Parang he's good at,
16:11Keeping a straight face.
16:13Parang hindi mo alam kung joke yun,
16:14O seryoso siya.
16:16But also like,
16:17So parang tinatangom siya,
16:19Joke ba yun?
16:20Hindi,
16:20Nagaganyo,
16:21Ano,
16:21Most of the time,
16:23Ano naman,
16:24Yung mga conversations naman naman,
16:26Hindi naman siya super,
16:28Hindi naman,
16:29Hindi naman mabigat yung conversations.
16:31Sometimes like,
16:31I would ask him like,
16:32Did you eat na?
16:33Ganyan.
16:33Tapos magre-reply siya ng something.
16:36Tapos ako,
16:36Aantahin ko na lang siya,
16:38Or minsan,
16:38Nag-agree.
16:54Ah,
16:54It was something that I really needed.
16:56Like,
16:56I needed someone who's not gonna live to my face.
16:59Like,
17:00Someone who would really like,
17:01Tell me,
17:02Straight up na,
17:03Kunyari,
17:03If you ask him about something,
17:05Like,
17:05What do you think of this?
17:06Well,
17:07Honestly,
17:07Like,
17:08I'm not sure if it's good,
17:09Because ganyan,
17:09Ganyan,
17:09Ganyan.
17:10I needed that.
17:11Kasi,
17:12Syempre,
17:13Diba,
17:13Parang,
17:14If you're asking for,
17:15For,
17:16A proper,
17:17Anong tawag dito,
17:18Advice,
17:19Or opinion,
17:19You wanna hear the real thing.
17:21Like,
17:21Ayaw mo nang sinosugarcoat.
17:23Ayaw mo nung,
17:24Nung mag-agree lang sa'yo,
17:26Just to agree with you.
17:28So,
17:29Yeah.
17:30Sya yung,
17:30Yung,
17:31Nag-nayanig sa'yo.
17:32Oo.
17:33And he would really say it,
17:34Sa'yo talaga.
17:36Tsaka,
17:36Parang,
17:37If he,
17:38If he notices something na,
17:40Kasi,
17:40Diba,
17:40Mga Filipinos,
17:41Parang,
17:41We're not very good at,
17:43Hindi naman confrontation,
17:44But like,
17:46Just,
17:47You know,
17:48Telling the truth.
17:48Kunyari,
17:49If,
17:50If,
17:50If,
17:51If,
17:52We're having a conversation with someone about,
17:54Say,
17:55Like,
17:55A very serious topic,
17:56Like,
17:57Politics.
17:59Parang,
18:00Pag alam niyang mali na yung sinasabi nung kausap namin,
18:03Kinocorrect niya na.
18:04Pero,
18:05Normally,
18:05Meron niyang,
18:06Meron siyang mga,
18:07Anong tawag dito?
18:10Meron siyang,
18:12Proof,
18:13Sa phone niya,
18:13Or like,
18:14Fact-checking ganun.
18:15Ready siya.
18:15Ganun siya ready.
18:16Ma-eviden siya.
18:16Kasi tayo minsan,
18:18Sige na nga,
18:19Sige,
18:20If that's what you think.
18:21But,
18:21Diba,
18:21May ganun tayo.
18:22Parang,
18:23We don't like to correct people so much.
18:25Or,
18:25Yung iba na,
18:26Nag-shy away sa hard truth.
18:28Para din,
18:28Hindi na tayo,
18:30Nag,
18:30Ano,
18:31Parang,
18:31Hindi na rin tayo,
18:32Anong tawag dito?
18:34Wala lang,
18:34Pare,
18:34Minsan kasi,
18:35Feeling natin,
18:36It will cause a riff.
18:37Yeah.
18:37With the friendship eh,
18:39Parang ganun.
18:40So parang tayo na lang,
18:41Sige,
18:41Kung yan yung opinion mo,
18:43Okay na nga.
18:43Sige na,
18:44Ganun tayo eh,
18:45But,
18:45Siya hindi.
18:46Like,
18:46He's really going to say,
18:47No,
18:47Actually,
18:48You're wrong.
18:48Ganun siya.
18:49With everything you have experienced,
18:52In terms of love,
18:53What would be your,
18:55Parang,
18:56The biggest lesson you've,
18:57Pick up,
18:58Na,
18:59Until,
18:59Siguro until the future,
19:01I-a-apply mo?
19:03Um,
19:04Wag mo umbusan yung pagmamahal,
19:06Para sa sarili mo.
19:07Unahin mo muna yung sarili mo.
19:08Number one, guys.
19:09Yeah.
19:10Yun talaga.
19:11Kasi,
19:14Kailangan,
19:15Ano eh,
19:15Kailangan,
19:17Mabigay mo yun sa sarili mo,
19:18Bago may bigay sa iba.
19:19Kasi,
19:19Kung wala ka para sa sarili mo,
19:20Ano yung,
19:22Binibigay mo sa,
19:23Isang tao?
19:24Especially,
19:24If the other person is not,
19:26Reciprocating.
19:27Ubus na ubus ka nun.
19:29So,
19:29Yun lang,
19:30Love yourself first,
19:31More than anything else.
19:32And,
19:33Um,
19:33If you have a lot of love,
19:35For yourself,
19:35Or you have enough,
19:36Then that's the only time,
19:37When you can,
19:38Give it.
19:40Ang ganda nun.
19:40Take note guys.
19:41Book more.
19:42This time naman,
19:44Miss Nadine,
19:45As,
19:46Hashtag,
19:47Businesswoman.
19:48Okay.
19:48So,
19:49Miss Nadine,
19:51Alam ko,
19:52Na,
19:52Meron ka rin side quests.
19:53Side quests.
19:54Yes.
19:54Outside as an actress.
19:55Side quests.
19:56Yeah.
19:57You started with,
19:58A makeup brand before.
19:59Yes,
20:00I started with,
20:01Lustrous before.
20:02Nagkaroon din ng perfume.
20:03Nagkaroon ng perfume.
20:05And now,
20:06Parang,
20:06Nagventure ka into,
20:08Uh,
20:09Beverage.
20:09Nagwine.
20:10Yeah,
20:10Nagwine.
20:11Nagli-husk.
20:12And then,
20:13The restaurant.
20:15Then a few other things.
20:16And now,
20:16There's eyewear also.
20:17Ah,
20:18Nine Lives.
20:19Yeah,
20:19Nine Lives.
20:19So,
20:20Kamu sa yung growth na yun
20:21sa'yo as a businesswoman?
20:23Ano yung parang,
20:23Biggest lesson mo na lang
20:24as a businesswoman?
20:26Biggest lesson?
20:29You have to,
20:30You have to,
20:31Put time on the businesses.
20:33Parang as much as,
20:35You know,
20:35As much as you feel secure
20:36With all of the businesses,
20:38Kung may employees kayo,
20:39Or like,
20:40Like, you know,
20:41You have staff
20:42That would manage everything.
20:45You still really have to put time.
20:47Yeah.
20:48Your time and effort into it.
20:49Kasi,
20:51Yung businesses na yun,
20:52Ikaw yun eh.
20:52True.
20:53Diba?
20:53Tsaka,
20:55Parang yun lang,
20:56Parang,
20:56I just,
20:58Always made sure na,
21:00I try to,
21:03Contribute pa rin.
21:04Meron kasing times before,
21:06Na parang,
21:07Nung nagbe-business pa ako,
21:08I just let other people handle it.
21:10Ah, yeah.
21:10And,
21:11Nawawala yung heart,
21:12Nung,
21:12Nung brand,
21:13Or nung business.
21:15So,
21:15Yun yung biggest lesson.
21:16Pero in terms of,
21:17Maybe,
21:18Ah,
21:18A biggest mistake.
21:19Biggest mistake.
21:20Biggest mistake.
21:22Na natutunan mo,
21:24Ah,
21:25Or nagawa mo before,
21:27Can yung share lang,
21:28Kung ano yung pwede natin matutunan?
21:29Hire the right people.
21:32Yes.
21:33Hire people who are,
21:35Actually,
21:36Equipped to do the job.
21:38And not just getting,
21:39People na,
21:41Alam mo yun,
21:42Na hindi nila alam yung gagawin nila.
21:44Kasi,
21:45Chances are,
21:46If you just hire whoever,
21:48Hindi nila magagawa nang tama yung job,
21:50You would spend,
21:51Um,
21:52You know,
21:52You would pay for their salaries,
21:54And not,
21:54Be as productive as you would want to be.
21:58Ah,
21:58What's your next business goal naman?
22:00Ikopalam?
22:01Ang dami mo nang napasok,
22:02From lifestyle to,
22:03Mamaya na yung business.
22:04Tamay na.
22:06Um,
22:07At this,
22:08At ngayon,
22:09At this point,
22:10Parang wala pang naisip.
22:11We're still,
22:13Ah,
22:13Really focusing on,
22:14On what we have at the moment.
22:16Especially with D-Husk,
22:17D-Husk is growing so fast.
22:19So,
22:19We want to focus on that.
22:20And of course,
22:21Like,
22:21I want to have time for my personal projects din naman.
22:24In fairness to D-Husk,
22:37So,
22:38And we just launched our newest variant,
22:41Which is the barista version.
22:43Yeah.
22:44Abangan na natin yan, guys.
22:45Yes.
22:46What's next?
22:47For,
22:47Ano naman,
22:48Hashtag advocate,
22:49Kay,
22:49Miss Nadine.
22:50We all know na,
22:51She's very,
22:52Ah,
22:53Supportive of environmental,
22:55Ah,
22:56Advocacies.
22:57Pero,
22:57Paano nga ba napunta doon si Miss Nadine?
23:01I don't really know.
23:03Pero,
23:04Ah,
23:05I've always been a nature lover.
23:09Parang,
23:10Before,
23:11I guess yung oldest memory,
23:14Ko,
23:15That I can remember,
23:17Was,
23:18Pag,
23:18Uuwi ako from school,
23:19Naglalakad lang ako.
23:20Kasi yung,
23:21School ko dati,
23:22Nung elementary ako,
23:23Is in the next village lang.
23:25Sa,
23:25Katabi lang nung village namin.
23:27So,
23:28I would remember walking home from school,
23:30And then,
23:30Every time na may makikita akong,
23:32Rapper ng candies,
23:34Pinapulot ko,
23:34Nilalagay ko sa bulsa ko.
23:36Um,
23:37But,
23:37I didn't really have,
23:39A realization back then.
23:41I think it was just,
23:44I didn't really understand why,
23:47There was,
23:48Ano,
23:48Bakit may,
23:49Bakit may,
23:50Kala,
23:50Rapper.
23:51Bakit may kalat sa sahig.
23:52I would just pick it up.
23:53Because I knew that it wasn't right.
23:57So yun,
23:57Um,
23:58I've always been,
24:00Um,
24:01I've always been attracted to,
24:03Like,
24:03Plants.
24:04My mom used to garden a lot.
24:06Yes.
24:06So,
24:08And she also has a business,
24:10Before,
24:10Yeah,
24:10Naka business din siya before.
24:12Or,
24:13Namaip ng plants.
24:15And then,
24:16There was also this time,
24:17Na,
24:18Merong bakanting lote sa tabi ng house namin.
24:21And there was a,
24:22Huge mango tree.
24:25Hindi ko maintindihan,
24:26Bakit nalungkot ako nung pinutol yung puno.
24:30So,
24:31I honestly think,
24:32That's where it started.
24:33Pero,
24:34You know,
24:34As I grew older,
24:35Parang narealize ko na lang din siguro na,
24:37Like,
24:38I wasn't okay with all of the injustices that I would hear,
24:42Or that I would see,
24:45Uh,
24:46Online.
24:48Um,
24:49So,
24:50Hindi ko alam pa,
24:51I think that's just how it happened.
24:52Like,
24:52Because,
24:53Nagahike din ako madalas nung time na yun.
24:55So,
24:56Parang,
24:56I grew closer to,
24:57To nature.
24:58Ayan.
24:59So,
24:59In relation to hashtag president na din,
25:01So,
25:01Your advocacy,
25:02Parang,
25:02They always reflect sa social media,
25:04Every time you post.
25:05And,
25:06Gusto ko malaman,
25:07Why do you,
25:08Parang,
25:08Always,
25:09Share your,
25:10Parang,
25:11What's inside your thoughts,
25:12Your mind,
25:13On social media,
25:14Especially on things that,
25:16Politics,
25:17Kanyan.
25:18I think it's very important,
25:19Kasi,
25:21Sa,
25:22Sa time ngayon,
25:23It's,
25:23It's very important that you're outspoken.
25:25It's very important that you fight for the things that,
25:27Matter.
25:29The things that,
25:31You believe are right.
25:34Especially,
25:34Like,
25:35What I mentioned earlier,
25:36I'm seeing a lot of injustices,
25:38With,
25:38People,
25:39Animals,
25:39The environment,
25:40The world.
25:42And,
25:43It's hard not to do anything.
25:45Parang,
25:46Anghirap just to see it.
25:47And,
25:47You know that you have,
25:49The platform.
25:50I know that I have the platform,
25:52To say something,
25:53The platform to kind of,
25:55Uh,
25:57Um,
25:57Make,
25:58In a way,
25:59Make a change,
26:00Or,
26:01At least,
26:02Inspire people,
26:03To make a change.
26:06Yeah,
26:06Parang,
26:07It's just hard,
26:08Not to speak up about it.
26:10Parang,
26:10At times,
26:10Parang,
26:11Some people,
26:12Think of,
26:13Speaking up,
26:14On what you,
26:15Personally believe in.
26:16Parang,
26:17They think is,
26:17They think of it as,
26:19Parang,
26:20Parang,
26:21Ano siya,
26:22Wow,
26:23Ano siya,
26:23Very,
26:24Too high of herself,
26:26I don't think it is.
26:27I,
26:27I,
26:28I believe that,
26:29You know,
26:29That the things,
26:31Naman,
26:31Well,
26:32Speaking for myself,
26:33The things normally,
26:34Naman,
26:35That I,
26:36That I post,
26:37Online,
26:38Are things that I see,
26:40In the community.
26:41The things that I,
26:42Would witness.
26:44You know,
26:45It,
26:45I don't fight for things,
26:46Naman,
26:46That don't make any sense.
26:48Um,
26:50And I feel like,
26:50It's a responsibility,
26:52Kasi nga,
26:52Meron ngang platform.
26:54Um,
26:56Yeah.
26:57Ayan,
26:57So,
26:58Miss Nadine,
26:58Please invite our viewers,
27:00To love,
27:00To watch,
