00:03Welcome back to Windy Lanzarote, Day 2 of the Marina Rupicon Lanzarote 52 Super Series Regatta.
00:09Wind on the forecast, 18 minimum, maximum 25, 27 knots. It's going to be a great day of racing.
00:16The race 3 of the Regatta, the breeze is still in it. We've got over 20 knots on the start
00:21line.
00:22Good start between Platoon and Provetza getting away off on Port Tack early.
00:26And on the left side of the track, the Platoon and Provetza are the best.
00:30Round the top mark, Platoon are leading, but they have to wheelbarrow away.
00:34They're too close to the mark. They're going to hit the mark and they have to wheelbarrow right round.
00:37Losing places, so Provetza get round in first place and extend down the first run.
00:42They've got Paprek just behind them and suddenly Provetza lose their kite.
00:46Paprek come through to lead the race. Then Drama 2 down the first run for Sled who lose their kite
00:51in the water.
00:51They lose places, but Paprek are impeccable. Lead all the way round the course and finish with their second win
00:58in a row to lead the Regatta.
01:00Alpha plus in second, Alcado get third and Provetza get a good fourth place.
01:06Race 4 starts very quickly after race 3. Condition is much the same.
01:11Over 20 knots on the start line still. Big waves at the leeward end of the course.
01:16And Platterwater at the top end, very shifty.
01:18So off the start line, well, Paprek a little bit low in time and distance at the pin mark.
01:23They have to shoot round the mark and lose speed.
01:25Platoon evasion make a much better start at the pin end of the line.
01:28Get away out to the left early.
01:30Allegra and Alcado both over the start line and have to recross.
01:34Sled make a good start from the middle of the course and do quite nicely up the first beat.
01:39But Platoon once again lead around the top mark with Sled second.
01:43Bayou third. Alpha plus round in fourth.
01:45Down the first run with Platoon going really nicely, but they've blown a kite once again.
01:49That lets Sled through to take the lead and Sled go on to win the race.
01:54Very close finish with Paprek just flipping Bayou on the finish line.
01:58So after four races at the Marina Rubicon, 52 Super Series Sailing Week,
02:02Paprek, the French female leading on eight points.
02:05Two points clear of Sled.
02:06Third are Alpha plus on 15.
02:08Fourth, Alcada Vitamina 16.
02:10And fifth, no way back on 26 points.
