00:00You know, it was interesting because I was like the only teenager, so it's not quite like how it is
00:06now where there's like kind of a young storyline.
00:08Like I was in, my storyline was with Eric Braden and Melody Thomas-Scott, and so I had worked in
00:13the business a lot.
00:14I had been an actor, you know, since I was baby, right?
00:17So I was used to being on a set, but it was, a set like this was just very plain,
00:23a character like this that has such a longevity and has, goes on and on and on.
00:26It was something completely new to me, and I remember signing my first contract, but it was three years, and
00:32I was like, three years?
00:33What am I going to do for three years?
00:35Like, so long, you know, and then cut to like 35 years later, I'm still doing daytime, which is, it's
00:41bananas.
00:42So I, but yeah, I'm so grateful to be a part of this genre, and I, you know, I was
00:48so grateful to be a part of that show.
00:49I think my favorite part about, um, working in, on a soap opera is, is I love playing a character
00:55for, that goes on from decades, right?
00:58And we have such an intimate, uh, relationship with our fans because we are in their living rooms every single
01:05day.
01:05They see it as us at our best, at our worst, at our most intimate, our most vulnerable.
01:10And so we have a truly intimate relationship with our fans, and I think that is really unique.
01:16It doesn't really exist anywhere else in any other genre.
01:19And so I, that to me, I think I really love and enjoy.
