00:00The mayor of New York is calling on his national government to enforce an arrest warrant from the ICC on
00:06the Israeli Prime Minister.
00:07Will you, the mayor of London, be following suit?
00:09Well, I have different powers to the mayor of New York, but I do believe...
00:12But you can lobby for our government to enforce that arrest warrant. Will you be doing so?
00:16But I do believe a genocide has been committed in Gaza. I think Netanyahu is responsible.
00:21And as a perpetrator of genocide, I think he's broken the law, and I think justice needs to happen, and
00:26that means him brought to book.
00:27So, Burnham, you'll be lobbying him to enforce that arrest warrant?
00:31Well, the good news is, and this is very good news, is Netanyahu has not come into London,
00:35because if he did, he would feel the full weight of public opinion if he came.
00:40If there is any evidence of him coming to London, I'll be lobbying the Prime Minister to make sure the
00:45law is enforced, absolutely.
