00:00What's up, y'all? Week two of fantasy football has come and gone, so we are naturally here to talk
00:05about the highs, and we're here to talk about the lows.
00:08I'm Rachel Besser, and this is Fantasy My Way.
00:15It seems like the injuries just won't stop. Honestly, if you had a player that didn't get injured, kudos to
00:22you. I even got injured at a wedding this weekend.
00:25Not only did we have Doug Martin, Thomas Rawls, and Arian Foster go down, but we also had Adrian Peterson
00:31go down with a torn meniscus in the third quarter on Sunday night, and you hate to see that. How
00:37are we?
00:40Well, turns out my team's on a losing streak. Don't you just love when that happens? I know I do.
00:46How about if we make a bet? Okay. And loser, this week, has to wear a costume of the winner's
00:57choice to work and just in general for one day.
01:02What do you say? Okay. Okay? Deal? Let's do it. Nice. I'm a woman of my word.
01:21Nice.
01:26It looks like it might be time for me to switch up some of my wide receivers. Des Bryant gave
01:31me about 10 points, which is not ideal.
01:34And then my two other wide receivers combined, Julian Edelman and Emmanuel Sanders, gave me only 10 points.
01:41That's not going to work for me.
01:42Even though my team is 0-2 with a few minor tweaks, I'm hopeful for a win in week three.
01:48Let's meet my R29 opponent for this week.
01:50John Revito is a post coordinator here at Refinery29. His team, the Queen's Kavitos, is 0-2.
01:57John is looking for his first win versus good, better, besser this week. And it's not looking promising.
02:05Good, better, besser? More like good, better, has-been.
02:09Uh, Rachel, look, uh, being in the loser's circle is something pretty new to me. I don't know how it
02:15is for you.
02:16The We3 Loser is going to have to take a practice SAT.
02:20You are going to have to take a practice SAT. You're going down, besser.
02:26I do not lose gracefully.
02:27Thank you so much, John. I look forward to beating you this week.
02:32And now, it's the moment you wait for every single week.
02:37It's my hot, fiery tips of the week.
02:40I said my hot, fiery tips of the week.
02:43As I predicted, Melvin Gordon from San Diego had a great week again.
02:49He put up 17 fantasy points.
02:51He also might play a bigger role in Week 3 with Danny Woodhead's knee injury.
02:55So I say stardom.
02:57Travis Benjamin also had an outstanding Week 2.
02:59He put up 23 points.
03:01He was the number one receiver for San Diego and should continue to see many passes from Phillip Rivers.
03:07Stardom!
03:08Lastly, Matt Ryan, quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons, is a must-start this week.
03:14He has been cruising through the season with over 50 fantasy points in two weeks.
03:18He's the real deal.
03:19Besides sitting my entire team, and all of the injured players, obviously,
03:24I think we need to talk about Todd Gurley, shall we?
03:28He only put up six points, and owners are starting to panic.
03:31It was a very bad matchup on paper, but many are not convinced they can be patient with him.
03:36And I'm not convinced either, so I'm going to say sit him.
03:39Lastly, we need to address Seattle's offense.
03:43Wilson and his wide receiver scored a total of 15 points on Sunday,
03:47one of the worst offenses in the league.
03:50I think they deserve another chance, but let's sit them this week to see if they work the kinks out.
03:54While Adrian Peterson is out with his injury, I say grab Jarek McKinnon, who should be available on the waiver
04:01wire.
04:01He's only owned by about 25% of leagues.
04:04We're hoping he will get all of the carries.
04:07Running back Jay Ajayi could be a good pickup.
04:11Only owned by roughly 28% of teams, there's a good chance he just inherited the starting position from Arian
04:17Foster in Miami.
04:18And lastly, I say go for Quincy Inunua.
04:21He leads the Jets with 13 receptions in the past two weeks, and with Brandon Marshall a little banged up,
04:27he could put up more points next week.
04:28Those are my hot tips for the week.
04:30If you have any questions, leave a comment in the section below.
04:34I'm so happy to help you out for week four.
04:37That was Fantasy My Way, and tune in next week.
