00:30Because you're pumping so much power through these systems, so you might be using on the
00:35order of 20 or 30 times what a regular PC would be doing.
00:39The computers are submerged in a non-conductive liquid to stop them from overheating.
00:44That liquid absorbs the temperature and in turn warms up the water to make the beer.
00:49All our beer is made with that hot water.
00:51Everything we produce in here, all our cleaning, our waste that we need to do with hot water

00:58From a Bitcoin mine in a shipping container to the final product that's come out of the
01:03taps, this unique process generates enough heat to produce 100,000 litres of beer every

01:10In addition to providing no-cost heating, the Bitcoin mine helps the brewery offset other
01:15operating costs by earning payments for solving complex puzzles.
01:19It's a payment for processing for those Bitcoins, creating the digital codes that they need.
