Sonam Wangchuk, the activist and innovator, ended his 26-day hunger strike (Satyagraha) against NEET irregularities after meeting with Union Ministers JP Nadda and Jitendra Singh. The ministers offered him juice to break his fast. Following the end of his fast, Wangchuk tweeted about concluding the hunger strike and stated he would share details about the conditions agreed upon in a separate video. The protest was held against NEET exam irregularities and alleged paper leaks, with Prime Minister Modi having earlier made a video statement promising strict punishment for those found guilty. Students and supporters expressed gratitude to Wangchuk for risking his life for their cause. However, protesters stated that their agitation would continue until Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan resigns, vowing not to let the students' sacrifices go to waste.
