In this video, the speaker shares an update from a private hospital in Gurugram, where he has been shifted from Safdarjung. He reveals that he is on his 25th day of a hunger strike (anshan), during which he has lost approximately 11 kilograms and experienced significant muscle loss. He expresses deep admiration for students who peacefully endured lathi charges without retaliating, even when provoked and when outside elements tried to incite stone-throwing. Moved by the brutality against the students, he decided to continue his fast. He mentions that many political leaders, including ministers from the ruling party and around 65 MPs, have visited him urging him to break his fast and return to public service. He says he personally wishes to do so, as his work is very important to him. However, he appeals to the government to stop using force against students and to withdraw FIRs and charges filed against them that could be used to harass or jail them.
