00:00President Trump has formally approved an agreement with Saudi Arabia that will provide it with a civilian nuclear program and
00:07potentially open the door to uranium enrichment in the country.
00:12That's according to a report in the Wall Street Journal.
00:15The new deal would last 30 years and is designed to give U.S. companies a central role in developing
00:21Saudi Arabia's nuclear infrastructure.

00:37How important will this agreement be for Saudi Arabia's vision 2030 economic transformation?

00:47Yes, this is definitely a very significant development and it has multifaceted implications.
00:55For the vision 2030, it really contributes towards this vision of transforming Saudi energy environment, energy scene.
01:07So right now, energy production within Saudi Arabia is predominantly dependent upon petrochemicals.
