00:09The title Man, I Feel Like a Woman is, it's an expression.
00:15So anyone can express it.
00:17It's like nobody owns that exclamation expression, right?
00:22So it wouldn't even really matter what the language was even, let's say, for example.
00:27It's just a, it's a punctuated affirmation of something that is followed up with something
00:37that's very singable, that sings well, you know, and, but it translated with anglophone speakers
00:45first, obviously, for women, I think, initially.
00:51Yeah.
00:51They're like, yeah, you know, they're like, it was empowering for women.
00:55Empowering.
00:56Initially, right?
00:57Which is how I felt when I wrote it.
00:59Okay.
00:59But it really went so far beyond that as an expression.
01:04It was just, it's a celebration.
01:06I wrote it from the heart.
01:08Again, I wasn't trying to be tricky.
01:11I didn't have an agenda.
01:13It was just, I'm really coming into my own here.
01:16I'm really enjoying my curves.
01:19You know, I grew up flattening out my chest and I wanted to make sure they didn't bounce
01:24when I walked or when I played football, you know, I do bras and, and loose pants, track
01:29clothes.
01:29And I just thought, wow, I'm so over that.
01:34I got to get over it.
01:35I'm like a late bloomer.
01:36I got to like, enjoy these curves.
01:37And I really started to embrace that when I started making videos.
01:42That's when I realized that what am I doing?
01:46I am so far behind.
01:47I got some catching up to do.
01:48And man, I feel like a woman.
01:50I'm going to just enjoy it all the way.
01:52Um, so that is the truth about it.
01:55It was just a genuine personal expression and people felt it and they took it on as their
02:00own.
02:01All people, not just women.
02:03No, it's, it's all people.
02:04I think who really are feeling empowered by whoever they are.
