00:00Mr. President, it's an honor having you.
00:02Thank you very much.
00:04I've been looking forward to this visit for a long time.
00:07Thank you very much.
00:08Meeting such a great President like yourself.
00:10That's a very nice thing.
00:11See, he knows how to get to me.
00:14Now he can have anything.
00:17Would you like to say something?
00:18No, really, I would like to thank President Trump, really,
00:22and his team for the historic visit
00:26and for the historic achievement that we did together
00:30by signing the framework
00:33with the ultimate objective of ending the state of hostility
00:36between Lebanon and Israel forever.
00:39I think, Mr. President, this will be your legacy.
00:42Together, we'll be able to achieve this objective.
00:45It's about time for Lebanon and for the whole region
00:49to be stable and secure.
00:50And I know your vision is peace, your vision is stability,
00:54and they think my vision will start with your vision.
00:57And together, I think we will be able to achieve
01:00and to score success in that regard.
01:02I agree with that.
01:03I do agree with that.
01:04You have tremendous spirit on your side.
01:07You have people that love that country
01:09and they're going to make it work.
01:11We're going to make it work.
01:12Right.
01:12Thank you very much.
01:13Mr. President, I have two questions, one for you.
01:20President Trump, as you work to expand the Abraham Accords,
01:23because Lebanon still enforces a 1955 law criminalizing contact
01:27with Israeli for over 70 years.
01:30You previously stated you would push Lebanon on this issue.
01:33And people, there is some people still going to prison last month.
01:37So did you raise it with, you will raise it with President Trump today?
01:40I will.
01:41The Abraham Accords have been, I think, a tremendous success.
01:45I think you're going to see a lot of countries joining pretty soon.
01:47Lebanon.
01:48As you know, we have our original group, and it's so successful for them.
01:54Economically successful.
01:55It's been that.
01:56Nobody left, even during this time of conflict.
01:59So, no, I think Lebanon has a very important place.
02:03It's not gonna happen.
02:03Everyone has to do this.
02:04It's gonna happen.
02:04So, in the human race, it's going to get it.
02:04So, we're going to get it.
