00:07MBIP decision to revoke the business licence of NSO Malaysia Sendirian Berhad Network School,
00:14ordering it to cease operations at Forest City from Wednesday.
00:18He said the decision was made following a special full council meeting
00:22after authorities reviewed inspection reports, enforcement findings and the company's representations.
00:30On Hafiz stressed that no investor or organisation is above Malaysian laws,
00:34adding that the state would not compromise on violations involving national security, sovereignty or public interest.
00:41He said Johor remained open to quality investments that create jobs and drive economic growth,
00:47but urged agencies, including the Home Ministry, Immigration Department and police,
00:52to continue investigations into any possible offences involving immigration violations,
00:58identity misrepresentation or misuse of second passports.
01:02He added that due diligence checks on investors, including ownership, funding sources and business models,
01:09must be strengthened to ensure compliance with licensing, security and legal requirements.
01:16The matter had also been presented to His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim, King of Malaysia,
01:21and Johor Regent Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim.
