00:04Welcome to the grim world of Saw Genesis.
00:12This three versus one asymmetrical multiplayer horror experience pits three accused trying to survive a trap-filled labyrinth against a
00:23single judge seeking to force their rehabilitation through sacrifice.
00:30Set in the Saw universe, a century before Jigsaw, three players must work together to solve challenges with one goal
00:38in mind, escape.
00:41Meanwhile, the fourth player operates from the shadows, shaping the trial and doing everything possible to trap and rehabilitate them.
00:52In this cat and mouse game with life and death stakes, you get to choose which side you want to
00:58be on.
01:00The Accused are a team of three players chosen from a roster of characters.
01:05Survival for them is all about working together under pressure.
01:10Your objective as an Accused is to complete challenges, find key items, and unlock a way out before time runs
01:19out.
01:20Every match takes place in a procedurally generated environment, so routes change, plans break, and teams have to adapt on
01:30the fly.
01:30If you're caught, you'll get thrown into a Saw-style dilemma where escape comes at a cost.
01:36You will be forced to choose between saving yourself through sacrificing a limb, or relying on your teammates to rescue
01:44you in time.
01:52On the other side of the trial is the game's antagonist, the Judge.
01:57The first of these judges is the Doctor, but more playable antagonists will be added to the game, each with
02:05their own tools and strategy.
02:07Much like Jigsaw, the antagonist isn't an unstoppable force of nature.
02:12As a former surgeon with his own twisted idea of redemption, he relies on cunning and strategy over brute strength.
02:22His access to exclusive corridors and elevators means that he can oversee the maze from above, try to split up
02:31the accused, and constantly hamper their progress.
02:35Before each match, he designs a strategy using his vast array of tools and then harnesses the level itself to
02:42apply pressure, by cutting off routes, creating panic, and striking when the team is divided.
02:50And, just like Jigsaw, the Judge's goal does not lie in killing the accused.
02:56Instead, he seeks to force redemption upon them through sacrifice.
03:04Unlike in other asymmetrical horror games, the Judge here is physically vulnerable.
03:10With smart communication and perfect timing, the accused can fight back, disrupt his plans, and create openings to escape.
03:19That balance means there's no single correct way to win.
03:24Will you risk everything to save a teammate from a rehabilitation trap, or grab the key and make a run
03:30for it?
03:32When the Judge closes in, will you sacrifice your own flesh to survive, or trust your team to pull you
03:39back from the edge?
03:42There are multiple win conditions for each side and several potential outcomes, so no two games will play out exactly
03:50alike.
03:52The world of Saw has always been about making impossible choices in the face of pure terror.
04:02In Saw Genesis, those choices are yours to make.
