00:01Iran said on Tuesday it struck U.S. military assets in Bahrain and Kuwait, targeting air
00:07defense systems and a radar at different U.S. outposts. Iran's armed force also attacked a
00:13tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, forcing the crew aboard to abandon the vessel.
00:18The IRGC said it had stopped the tankers that were transiting through what they called an
00:23unsafe southern route of the Strait after explosions caused fire on the vessels.
00:28On its end, the United States military announced it completed its 10th consecutive night of strikes
00:33against Iran, targeting sites in an effort to counter Tehran's ability to attack ships
00:38passing through the Strait. In recent weeks, fighting has intensified significantly between
00:44the two sides, bringing traffic through the waterway almost completely to a halt and pushing
00:49oil prices up. On Monday, Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momemi arrived in Pakistan for official
00:57talks. His visit comes as Pakistan continues its mediation efforts to end fighting between
01:02the U.S. and Iran, although the intention of Momemi's trip remains unclear.
