00:07as the company raised $450 million at a $2.6 billion valuation, according to CNBC.
00:14Kleiner Perkins and NEA led the funding round with participation from Bezos Expeditions,
00:19AMD Ventures, and other investors. Cuspy AI uses AI to simulate the performance of new materials
00:26and reduce the number of possibilities requiring laboratory testing.
00:30The startup also announced an AI materials foundry focused on discoveries for semiconductors,
00:36clean energy, and advanced manufacturing.
00:38NVIDIA is among 45 organizations providing computing infrastructure,
00:43while Meta's fundamental AI research team is joining the initiative.
