00:14water pitcher assembly and what components to check to ensure a tight, mess-free seal.

00:19The water pitcher case assembly is located inside the refrigerator compartment,

00:23specifically housed within the beverage center found behind the outer panel of the left side

00:27door. This part acts as the primary docking station, ensuring the pitcher is chilled and

00:32automatically refilled by the refrigerator's internal system. The pitcher assembly often

00:37fails because the factory gasket on the lid is not thick enough to create an airtight seal with

00:42the pitcher. This design flaw allows water to seep through the gap whenever the pitcher is tilted,

00:47causing it to drip during use. A properly sealed pitcher is essential because it maintains a

00:52vacuum-like environment that prevents spills and ensures the automatic refill feature functions

00:57without overflow. Before starting repairs, unplug the refrigerator and clear the water area.
