00:05In this video, we've got planes almost crashing, miscommunications,
00:09extreme winds and other close calls. First up is this Falcon 900 pilot in Argentina,
00:15making an unusually low pass at high speed.
00:24This C-123 was landing in a crosswind when its right wing dove toward the ground.
01:07Luckily the pilot saved it at the last second.
01:11This JU-52 touched down too early in the field just short of the runway.

01:30Luckily, it continued safely. This Boeing 737-900 came very close to a tail strike while landing in Portland.

02:15This Boeing 777 was approaching London Gatwick when a Tap Air Portugal plane unexpectedly entered its runway,

04:06Airport emergency services were quick to respond and luckily no one was injured.

04:17This plane had to abort its takeoff, occupying the runway that a Boeing 787 was approaching.
04:23But the Boeing 787 pilot didn't hear the air traffic controller,
04:26instructing them to go around multiple times.

04:33Clear to land runway 1-4, Chinese 7-2-0-3-5.
04:37China 7-2-0-3-5, discontinue upward, jeepers going around runway 1-4.

05:02It wasn't until another pilot told him that he understood and went around.
05:06The 787 landed safely on its second attempt.
05:11This US Air Force B-52 bomber was flying over the Black Sea
05:16when it was intercepted by two Russian Su-27 flanker pilots.
05:23According to the US Air Force, the Russian pilots flew in an unsafe and unprofessional manner,
05:29while crossing within 100 feet of the B-52's nose multiple times,
05:33causing turbulence and restricting the B-52's ability to maneuver.
05:41This happened in international airspace on August 28, 2020.
05:46A severe wind shear on short final caused this glider to instantly drop 100 feet.
06:02Well, that was some sink.
06:20The Swiss Airbus A320 faced difficulties landing in storm Ashley.

09:11Luckily, fire crews were able to extinguish the fire and the aircraft was undamaged.
09:40This happened in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
09:43This CRJ-900 was hit by a wind gust at the worst moment.
10:04The Saribas A321 almost struck a flock of birds and had to go around.
10:28This pilot, landing at Lukla Airport in Nepal, one of the most dangerous airports in the world,
10:34decided to abort at the last second something that is very unusual and dangerous at this airport.
10:55This Challenger 300 making a difficult landing in Dublin during a storm.
11:21This Swiss Airbus A320 had to go around at Dublin Airport after strong winds destabilized the aircraft.
