00:07How's it going everybody my name is MJ Rogoliano I am 27 years old from
00:13Paranaque City you may be wondering why is this guy wearing a brace well two
00:19months ago I found out that I have regenerative needs whatever the doctor
00:26said I told my ACL my left leg I'm on the same leg actually for multiple
00:32ligaments on my ankle my ankle as well and I realized that it was the people
00:38who get this injury there's only one percent of people in the world to get
00:42it my journey almost ended when it didn't even start yet so it was hard
00:50something in my mind has changed I had to make a switch and I had to show up in
00:55every single day it was really really hard and I almost didn't make it here but I
01:01think that's not the definition of strength this is the reason why my
01:05advocacy is holistic health and wellness empowering the mind body and spirit and
01:13especially giving hope to people who are having struggles that are invisible and
01:18that are visible I stand here on stage right now and I want to let you guys know
01:23if there's something that you can take from me from my experience and from my
01:27journey you may have an injury in your life maybe you're not born with something
01:33that you particularly want and I'm not sure you met my friend Mark who's a fellow
01:37amputee or if you're disabled it is not a whole new journey it's an opportunity for a new
01:45beginning and this is our year this is our time this is Century Tuna and this is my
01:51super bonner thank you so let's time let's listen to Judge Jules go
02:12what if you don't mind me asking how did you get injured was it was it through like sports or
02:17so it was so weird two years ago I actually had an ACL to be honest I couldn't have the
02:23money for surgery so and I realized some people were able to play sports again with
02:30ACL after two years two months ago I realized I went on a bench run and it
02:38was creaking at the worst time ever I was in a pageant and then I guess my ankle
02:44was compensating for my for my knee and that's when I realized I tried to play
02:49off after like three weeks I'm like why is it still there took an MRI a blood test
02:53everything and I realized that and the follow-up to that is the no pain no gain
03:03is a common saying in the fitness culture what does this mean to you personally I
03:09believe no pain no gain it it really resounds around my my life my journey I
03:18do believe that we have to get through some sort of pain in our lives to get
03:21through something maybe a relationship maybe building muscle you're building a
03:27muscle great physique and fitness but in all honesty I think I think we need a
03:31little bit of the opposite to come and try a positive in our life you know a
03:36great balance holistically thank you thank you so much
