00:00Namaste! Welcome to Indian Bhaktidhara.
00:03This is not about defeating another person.
00:06It is about defeating the fire that rises within us.
00:09One evening, Arjun walked to Krishna by the river.
00:13Fists clenched, eyes burning.
00:15Lord, he said, someone I trusted insulted me in front of everyone.
00:20I stood by him when he had nothing.
00:22Today he mocked me like I was worthless.
00:25Why should I forgive him? Krishna said nothing.
00:28He picked up a glowing piece of charcoal.
00:31If I asked you to throw this at the man who hurt you, what happens first?
00:36My own hand burns, Arjun said.
00:38That is anger, before it touches another person.
00:42It burns the one who carries it.
00:44Krishna filled a ball with river water.
00:46Look in it. I see my reflection.
00:49He dropped in a handful of dust.
00:51The water turned dark.
00:53Now what do you see?
00:54Nothing. He set the ball down.
00:56Minutes passed.
00:57The dust settled.
00:58The water turned clear again.
01:00Your mind is this water.
01:02Anger clouds it.
01:04You stop seeing truth.
01:05You stop hearing wisdom.
01:07You only react.
01:09But Lord, Arjun asked,
01:11if people keep hurting us,
01:12should we stay silent forever?
01:14Silence is not weakness.
01:16Patience is not surrender.
01:19Protect yourself when you must.
01:21But never let anger become the master of your actions.
01:24When anger leads, wisdom leaves.
01:27People don't lose because others are stronger.
01:30They lose because they surrender control of their own mind.
01:33One angry word can destroy years of friendship.
01:37One moment without self-control can erase respect built over a lifetime.
01:41Arjun lowered his head.
01:43The person who insulted me is not my greatest enemy.
01:47My uncontrolled anger is.
01:49Krishna placed a hand on his shoulder.
01:51People may insult you.
01:53People may reject you.
01:54But only you decide whether they take your peace.
01:57Never hand that power to anyone.
01:59The river went still.
02:01The stars reflected on the water.
02:03Arjun smiled for the first time that day.
02:05True strength was never revenge.
02:07It was self-mastery.
02:09Next time anger rises in you,
02:11pause, breathe, ask yourself,
02:15will my next word heal this or wound it further?
02:18Anger lasts a moment.
02:20Its consequences can last a lifetime.
02:23Choose wisdom.
02:24Choose peace.
02:25If this touched you, comment,
02:27I choose wisdom over anger.
02:29Share it with someone who needs it today.
