00:00I'll tell you, after the Ravens' performance today, they could use our superstars.
00:03We are in Baltimore, Survivor Series of Dallas next month.
00:06But tonight, no mercy coming to you from Baltimore, Maryland.
00:10Still to come, the biker chain match for the WWE title, Undertaker and Brock Lesnar.
00:19Ladies and gentlemen, right now we would like to take this time to recognize
00:23all the brave men and women of the United States military
00:28who are here this evening, and they are returning to the desert tomorrow
00:34to continue the fight of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
00:39We are so honored that you can be here with us here in Baltimore for no mercy.
00:46And if you could please rise and accept our show's support and best wishes.
00:59Great honor to have these brave men and women here tonight, man.
01:02I'm telling you, great honor.
01:03Yeah, did you hear that?
01:04They're going back to the desert tomorrow to fight again for this country.
01:08They chose to spend their last night here with us at No Mercy.
01:12God bless them, man.
01:13God bless them.
01:16Nobody's going to stand in my way.
01:18Rolling contest is scheduled for one fall.
01:21Making his way to the rain from Southwest Detroit.
01:24Weighing in at 159 pounds.
01:27Zach, go in.
01:29With a courageous young man, Zach Gowen, looking for his first big victory here in the WWE as a contracted
01:37WWE superstar.
01:39Can Zach Gowen get it done tonight against the man who's been a thorn in his side ever since before
01:46SummerSlam?
01:46That man is Matt Hardy.
01:49Zach Gowen's going to have his hands full with a more experienced and very accomplished sensee of attitude, Matt Hardy.
01:56Let's get Zach Gowen, man.
01:58The only one in test for a quarter through.
02:00One leg, a kid gets in there, and he's got what he loves to do.
02:04No place to do it.
02:05Ben Lennon, WWE in SmackDown, baby.
02:08He won now!
02:13Oh, yeah!
02:18And being accompanied to the ring by Shannon Moore from Cameron, North Carolina.
02:24Weighing in at 227 pounds, Matt Hardy versus one.
02:29Apparently, Matt Hardy's never seen you at the gym in the tank top.
02:33That's nice.
02:35That's really nice.
02:38Nonetheless, Matt Hardy and Zach Gowen, and Matt Hardy has to be extremely careful that he does not overlook Zach
02:44Gowen in this match-up task.
02:46Because Matt Hardy, I don't think his ego could handle the fact that he's the first man to lose to
02:50Zach Gowen here in the WWE.
02:52Matt Hardy's got an ego the size of Texas and Brooklyn, and they're both lost.
02:57Well, this is a match-up that was supposed to take place in SummerSlam, but it never happened, because Brock
03:03Lesnar broke the leg of Zach Gowen.
03:06What does Matt Hardy do?
03:07Remember, he walked out during SummerSlam, during Sunday night.
03:11He made the referee raise his hand and declared him the winner over Zach Gowen.
03:15The kid couldn't even show up.
03:17So what?
03:17He had a broken leg.
03:18Well, Matt Hardy won the match.
03:19He should get his damn hand raised.
03:20That's the way it goes.
03:21You win, you get your hands raised.
03:22And it's Zach Gowen right into the corner.
03:24Matt Hardy with a couple of slaps, just embarrassing this kid.
03:28And there's the heart of this Zach Gowen.
03:31Gowen fighting back, and it's a shot to the chin of Matt Hardy.
03:35Matt Hardy's feeling this kid.
03:36One leg.
03:38Jumping, spinning, leg larry right there by Zach Gowen.
03:40How quick he gets back up to that one leg.
03:44I'll be one night.
03:46He won night.
03:47There it is, baby.
03:48I'll tell you, Tasna, the more and more I listen to this Matt Hardy,
03:51I believe that Matt Hardy is jealous of Zach Gowen.
03:55He's jealous of the attention that Zach Gowen gets.
03:58He's jealous of the fact that media all over the world have fallen in love with the courage of this
04:03kid.
04:03That makes Matt Hardy jealous.
04:04Look out.
04:05Here's the cover.
04:05Get Zach Gowen.
04:06Get it here.
04:06And it kicked out by Matt Hardy.
04:08Zach Gowen, you know, he does get a lot of positive publicity.
04:12Oh, my God.
04:14Shannon Moore, that little MF for the attitude follower, getting it all again again.
04:19And how many times is this going to have to go on?
04:23Week after week after week, either Shannon Moore or Matt Hardy are screwing this kid, Zach Gowen.
04:28They make me sick, and I know they make all of our fans.
04:30All right, all right, Cole.
04:31I'm begging you to relax.
04:32Don't get so emotional.
04:34Let's call the action, you know.
04:35Well, you know what?
04:36Let's have a fair wrestling match.
04:37That's what I want to see.
04:38One-on-one, Matt Hardy and Zach Gowen.
04:40Cole, life ain't fair.
04:41Therefore, wrestling matches you.
04:42I know.
04:43I know life isn't fair.
04:44They make you my partner.
04:44And look at this, Matt Hardy with a shot to Zach Gowen, and Matt Hardy is in control
04:49right here.
04:50And you a shot to me, and if you keep doing it, I'll be in control of you.
04:53Oh, look out.
04:54Zach Gowen bounced off the top tarbuckle.
04:55Steak guy, steak guy.
04:56Matt Hardy made a clothesline.
04:58Zach Gowen literally twirling in midair before slamming to the mat.
05:03That was a pretty nice clothesline by Matt Hardy.
05:06Matt Hardy tried to explain it.
05:07Zach Gowen didn't work for any of this.
05:10Zach Gowen should be a superstar.
05:11Here's the cover.
05:12Kicked out by Zach Gowen.
05:14Oh, I mean, you know, Matt Hardy feeling like Zach Gowen did not pay his dues to be here
05:20in the WWE.
05:21That's what Matt's feeling.
05:22What's this?
05:23Cover off the leg drop.
05:24Zach Gowen.
05:24That's a close cover.
05:25Roll the shoulder up.
05:26Cover again and again.
05:27Zach Gowen rolls the shoulder up as we take another look here.
05:30This is a hard one.
05:31What is that?
05:32Man, he brought that clothesline by Matt Hardy.
05:34Didn't leave it at his feet.
05:35Vertical suplex.
05:36Bam!
05:36By Matt Hardy.
05:37Back to live action.
05:38Suplex again on Zach Gowen by Matt Hardy.
05:41I'll tell you what, Zach Gowen probably ain't going to win this matchup out here.
05:44Matt Hardy's been manhandling.
05:46But I'll tell you, I'll give Zach Gowen a hell of a lot of props for his heart.
05:49This kid continues to battle back week after week after week.
05:53First, you say you believe in Zach Gowen.
05:55Now you don't.
05:55You say he's going to lose.
05:56No, not with Shannon Moore running around outside, getting involved every 30 seconds
05:59of this matchup.
06:00You'll be a hell of a coach.
06:01Hey, guys, big game tonight, guys, but we're going to lose.
06:03Oh, and what a shot.
06:05Matt Hardy, shot to the midsection.
06:07I mean, winning or losing doesn't mean I can't support the kid.
06:09Doesn't mean I don't believe in this kid.
06:10I believe in the kid.
06:11Oh, I support the kid.
06:13And Zach Gowen, I'm telling you, he's triple tough.
06:16There's no doubt about it.
06:17This could be an opening here.
06:19Matt Hardy.
06:20Come on.
06:20See if stars, perhaps.
06:22But Zach Gowen knocked down from behind again by Matt Hardy.
06:26Go for a body slam here.
06:27Oh, straight.
06:29Slam right there by Matt Hardy.
06:31Shane's going to go up here.
06:32Matt Hardy just playing with Zach Gowen now.
06:35Matt Hardy heads up to the top row.
06:37Is it going to be a moonsault?
06:38Look at that.
06:38Look at that.
06:39Oh, and that Gowen runs out of the way.
06:41Matt Hardy is really missed on that moonsault.
06:45You don't see Matt Hardy do many moonsaults.
06:47I haven't anyway.
06:49And Zach Gowen trying to build some momentum here.
06:52Trying to will himself back into this matchup.
06:55He's trying to find out no doubt.
06:57Matt Hardy doesn't look too good.
06:58Shaking his head out here.
07:01A little pressy.
07:02Oh, what a shot.
07:03Zach Gowen off the drop kick.
07:05But does Zach Gowen have anything left as Matt Hardy heads outside the rain to catch a breather?
07:11Matt Hardy's not looking too good here.
07:13Look at this.
07:14Oh, my God.
07:15He's out of the top rope.
07:16Zach Gowen.
07:17A heel or off the top rope.
07:20A front slip by Zach Gowen.
07:23Right on Matt Hardy.
07:25Let's take another look.
07:26Check this out.
07:27Look at the athleticism.
07:28Balance on one leg.
07:29Actually on his knee.
07:31That's what Zach Gowen does.
07:32He utilizes his body because he has one leg.
07:35It's amazing.
07:35Zach's on the top rope.
07:36Zach Gowen top rope.
07:37And this amazing kid can do it here.
07:39Cover him.
07:40Oh.
07:40And Matt Hardy kicks down.
07:43But this kid is truly amazing.
07:45He keeps using that as well.
07:46Side effect.
07:48Oh, he was amazing, Cole.
07:49That's the end.
07:50I'm telling you.
07:51Zach Gowen made a mistake.
07:53He walked into the side effect.
07:54And Matt Hardy looks to counter.
07:56Matt Hardy's not looking too good, though, Cole.
07:58Here we go.
07:58Cover again.
07:59And rolling the shoulder out.
08:01Since that miss on that moonsault by Matt Hardy.
08:04Matt Hardy don't look to have his...
08:06I think he got his belt rung a little bit.
08:08I think he might have got it.
08:08That's the best way to put it, man.
08:09Bell rung.
08:10And don't forget when Zach Gowen came off the top rope,
08:11his knee landed right in the head of Matt Hardy.
08:14That's right.
08:15Running back off.
08:16Grant ran into a back elbow.
08:17Back to the top rope.
08:18Oh!
08:19Zach Gowen going for high-risk offense again.
08:21That time got caught.
08:22And Matt Hardy.
08:22Littering the right hand to the back of Zach Gowen.
08:24Matt Hardy looking to counter here.
08:26Top rope.
08:26Matt Hardy trying to put this one away.
08:28This is big, bro.
08:28This is going to be a back suplex from the top rope.
08:30Zach Gowen always fighting back.
08:33Wait a minute.
08:33Matt Hardy knocked off the top rope.
08:35Right on the back of that head in his back.
08:37Zach Gowen.
08:38Oh!
08:39Go to the top rope.
08:40Oh, my God.
08:41What a blow.
08:42Get in, Kenny.
08:43Get in.
08:44Zach Gowen.
08:45Zach Gowen has done it.
08:47Here's your winner.
08:49Zach Gowen.
08:50The kid got his first major win call right here in the WWE.
08:54What's Matt Gowen right here?
08:56At no mercy.
08:57What an upset.
08:58Zach Gowen has upset Matt Hardy.
09:03Zach Gowen constantly overcoming adversity.
09:07Did it again here tonight.
09:09Check out this pitch in perfect moveshow.
09:13Speaking of moveshow, I'm telling you, Cole, go back and watch the tape.
09:17Look at that beautiful moveshow.
09:19This kid's an amazing athlete.
09:21Speaking of moveshow, I'm telling you, Matt Hardy missing that moveshow earlier in this match.
09:25I'm telling you, I think he did get spelled well.
09:27The never-say-die attitude of Zach Gowen.
09:32Zach Gowen's celebration has begun.
09:35The kid picked up a win.
09:37Wow.
09:38Want you to be the one who lives in the world?
09:52Oh, well, there's my charming wife, Linda, coming into my locker room.
09:57Is it to see me dressed or undressed?
10:02Vince, I'm here tonight.
10:04I'm begging you one more time.
10:06Don't go through with this tonight.
10:08I don't know what's driving you.
10:10I know you love Stephanie.
10:12For the past 37 years, I've turned my head when all of your past transgressions took place.
10:18But tonight, you are going down a path to divide this family.
10:22You're doing something that you cannot come back from.
10:25Please, unless you change your mind and not do this match.
10:29You want me to reconsider?
10:32Yes.
10:32Well, you know, I anticipated you were going to come in here.
10:36I did.
10:36And I know what you're all about.
10:38You're all about an advantage and some sort of concession.
10:42So that's what I'm going to do.
10:43I'm going to go through with the match.
10:45Okay, but I'm going to give Stephanie a concession.
10:48I can win this match by submission only.
10:51Stephanie, however, can win this match by submission or pinfall.
10:55If she pins me, she can win this thing.
10:57I mean, I mean, come on.
10:59That's meeting you more than halfway.
11:03But come to think of it, you know what?
11:06I think I need a little something back now, too.
11:09And that is that, as of right now, since Stephanie insists on going through with this match,
11:16this match now is no-holes-barred.
11:24What?
11:25Was there something I said?
11:28You know...
