00:02I hopped off the 8-hour red-eye flight from Los Angeles and went straight to the Papayete

00:07I immediately immersed in the local cuisine and sampled dishes like breadfruit and foferu,

00:13From there, I drove an hour to Tahiti Eiti, where I hopped on a boat and explored the
00:17insanely gorgeous rugged coastline.
00:19For lunch, I had posan crew, raw fish marinated in lime juice and coconut milk.
00:24Then came one of the most mesmerizing sights.
00:27Watching the enormous waves of Tiahopo, the sport of surfing basically started here,
00:32and more recently, it was home to the 2024 Olympic Games.
00:35Finally, at about 5pm, 12 hours after I landed, it was time to drive to my hotel, and my perfect
00:39day in Tahiti came to an end.
