00:44used to power artificial intelligence applications and data centers.
00:49Reflecting that momentum, TSMC raised its revenue outlook
00:52and increased its capital spending plans from $60 to $64 billion in 2026,
00:58saying it expects strong demand for AI chips to continue into 2027.
01:03Part of the additional spending will go towards TSMC's expansion in Arizona,
01:08where the company has pledged another US$100 billion,
01:12taking its total planned investment in the state to US$265 billion.
