40:56i started with some pieces of cardboard like this
40:58then i attached three more
40:59then i added this base piece
41:01this next part requires more cardboard of course
41:04but also some small dowels
41:05we need this shape
41:06another dowel
41:07and two small rubber bands
41:09this is now ready to go inside the box we're building
41:12it should fit easily
41:13i'm gonna slide it down and hook the rubber band on these dowels here
41:16i'm using some tweezers to help make it a little easier
41:19don't forget to set the rubber band on the other side too
41:22then i push it back and the candy slides right out
41:24great
41:25now let's cover it up and add some little ramps pointing down
41:28we'll want to cover the front too so it's prettier
41:31we're on the home stretch
41:32i added this plastic case to hold the candy
41:35and then a cute little lid so the candy doesn't spill everywhere
41:38look it even pops open so you can put in more candy when needed
41:42ooh look at how delicious it is
41:45close the lid and then it's time to add some decorations

43:02and now it's time to add some glue on top like this
43:05and then the bottom i'm gonna stick another matching piece on top
43:08good and now i'll just do the same thing with the glue as before
43:11adding a third piece on top to do it
43:13this one has no hole in the middle
43:15what's the next step more glue of course
43:17and then putting another piece of cardboard on that one too
43:20there we go that should finally be enough layers for this project
43:24now it's time to add some paint because that's the most fun part
43:27i really love this orange color it's so bright and pretty
43:31and done i'm putting a phone case in there
43:33i measured beforehand so it's a perfect fit
43:36we've got more cardboard pieces and more glue now
43:39and of course we'll be putting them together for more layers
43:41this next part is a bit tricky because i want this piece glued at an angle like so
43:46and then i just need for it to dry once it does though i can paint it
43:50time to put it all together it'll just slide in place with this battery
43:53ta-da i made my own steering wheel holder for my phone
43:57vroom vroom yeah i'm in first place no one can catch me
44:01this is the best game ever and the best steering wheel too

45:01and then i'll attach these little strips in a sort of v-shape
45:05the other end of the tube is going right into this hole i cut in the box
45:08next up a hoop because you can't really play basketball without one
45:12i'll use this plastic bag as a net i'll just have to snip off the bottom
45:16though so the ball falls through
45:19my basketball is totally deflated
45:22but hey cardboard can fix that too
45:24all right time to practice my b-ball skills so i can get better
45:28yes my first basket on my new setup it's working
