00:13The Broadway star's friend Rob McClure announced the news on Instagram,
00:17revealing that the 44-year-old actor's cause of death was suicide.
00:20McClure and Cresetti starred together on Broadway in Something Rotten in 2016.
00:25McClure wrote in the caption,
00:26It is with a shattered heart that I shared that the brilliant Josh Cresetti took his own life on Friday.
00:31I'm not ready to even attempt to understand.
00:33He ended the post writing,

00:39In his final Instagram post days before his death,
00:43Cresetti shared a picture of a production of Legally Blonde he was directing in Italy.
00:47Cresetti revealed that he had to leave and miss the show's premiere.
00:50He hinted that something was wrong, writing,
00:52when you have to leave a production for personal reasons before getting to see the show open.
00:56He went on to thank the cast for their sweet gesture of holding up his picture in the group photo.
