00:00A murder investigation is now underway in the capital after a young woman was fatally stabbed
00:06at a property in Hayes, West London. Police were called shortly before 8 o'clock on the morning of
00:12the 13th of July and found the 24-year-old with serious stab injuries. Despite treatment from
00:20emergency services, the woman died at the scene. A man in his 20s was also found injured and remains
00:26in hospital. Detectives later arrested a 44-year-old man on suspicion of murder after finding him
00:32nearby. Officers say they do not believe there is any wider threat to the public and are now
00:38appealing for witnesses as inquiries continue into the circumstances surrounding the attack.
