A peaceful evening at Yellowstone National Park turned into a terrifying ordeal when a tourist was critically injured after a bull bison charged and hurled him nearly eight feet into the air at the Bridge Bay Campground. The man was walking with his young grandson when the aggressive animal, which had reportedly been charging at visitors and vehicles, suddenly turned toward them. While the boy managed to get away safely, the bison caught the grandfather, lifted him with its horn, and threw him to the ground. Witnesses rushed toward the animal, shouting to distract it and prevent another attack until emergency crews arrived. The injured man was taken for medical treatment and remains in critical condition, according to his grandson. Park officials continue to remind visitors that bison are powerful wild animals capable of running much faster than humans, urging everyone to maintain a safe distance to avoid potentially life-threatening encounters.
